Concord Grill

The wait is sooo worth it!! Delicious BLTs!! Cheeseburgers!! Fries! Bologna Burgers! Amazing!!

I honestly cannot jump on the Concord bandwagon train like some of the other reviews. I had a cheeseburger and fries from here yesterday and I just wasn't impressed. The fries were great. The burger had a seasoning on it that I just didn't care for and it was overly large for my liking. If I'm ever in the area again I would be curious to try another menu item from here. It's a busy busy place in the middle of nowhere so there's got to be something that keeps folks coming back. Cash only location located next to a gas station. Limited parking.

I saw a write-up on this place in Our State magazine and everything about it was screaming my name so I took a bit of a detour on my way to Virginia for Thanksgiving and stopped at Concord Grill for lunch. I'm glad I was on the early side because a sign on the window said the grill was closing at 1:00 that day. I made it just in time.I ordered a hot dog with chili, mustard, and slaw and a cheeseburger. I had hear all the raving about the burgers. I had to try one. For drinks, you go next door to the sundry part of the gas station.My order was ready quicky and when I went to pick up my bag I assumed I had someone else's order. Mine food couldn't weigh this much. Ha. It sure did!The dog was great. One of those really good flavor blends between the chili, mustard, and creamy slaw. The burger was outstanding. HUGE! Juicy! Delicious. All the toppings on it were just as I asked for. The cheese was melted and gooey. Darn near close to perfection.I can not even imagine getting a double except that it just means twice the delicious pleasure! I'd be wiling to suffer. :)

When you see a crowd of cars pulled over at a middle of nowhere gas station, that's a sign that something remarkable is going on. That's exactly what the Concord Grill is - remarkable!We found this place due to reviews and it was amazing. The double cheeseburger was enormous, hotdog with slaw yummy, chicken fingers breaded and perfectly crispy. Our whole family loved the seasoned French fries. There is nowhere to sit, and no drinks sold at the Concord Grill. We went to the convenience store next door for drinks and happily picnicked using the trunk of the car as our table. We fed 6 people lunch for $40 - it was cash only. It was well worth it!

Amazing Short order grill! They make everything to order so it takes a few minutes but is more than worth the wait! The food is incredible! They only take cash!

Best BLT ever! They put an enormous amount of bacon, easily enough for two sandwiches.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Ahh well... I'll do my best. Every review that talks about the burgers at this no-frills gas station gem mentions how big they are. People, take heed; these things are no damn joke. I read in the Our State article (the magazine cover featured one of Concord Grill's beautiful burgers) that Ms. Dew, the owner, doesn't pre portion her patties; she just "grabs enough to make sure it fills up the bun." And best believe, the bun will be FULL. Our burgers had to weigh at least 12oz EACH. They were MASSIVE. They're cooked on a flattop griddle, are very flavorful and juicy, and were served up sizzling hot. The fries are a great portion size as well; crinkle cuts - perfectly crispy and piping hot. Sweet tea? You guessed it. Extra large and thirst quenching. Our order consisted of 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries and 1 sweet tea - $20. For the amount of food we received, I would definitely say that price was more than fair. I will definitely be back as I'd like to try some other things on the menu, such as bbq sandwiches and hot dogs. If you go, know a few things. 1 - cash only. 2 - this food is cooked to order - call ahead to place your order, especially if it's right at lunch time. We called ours in at around 11:20 and it took about 20 minutes. 3 - they close at 2:00. 4 - no indoor seating. Order/pickup at the window.Enjoy!

Great food and VERY genorus portions. Highly recommend the BLT and Philly Wrap. Friendly service too!

Forget about Dustin's review he's on crack and doesn't know prime if it hit him in the face. Still the best burgers and fries. All I need now is a beer with my lunch.
