Colore Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Mangia, sip, repeat! First of all, I do not eat late! So when it was suggested to go here at 8pm I was so against it. Well, this place must cook in all things healthy because I had THE best pasta dish at 9pm! And swear I did not feel heavy..full or sleepy. Ya'll did amazing! But our server Brianna- she came through! I told her how picky I was and she absolutely made sure my dinner was everything I wanted. This place, do not sleep on them. We were visiting, but for sure will be back.

I had the chipotle shrimp salad as it was tasty and fresh. Decent portion as well, for $16.The service was great, our server was attentive. For dessert, gelato and the carrot cake were way too sweet. In all, a nice place for Italian food.

The food and service was top notch. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. They accommodated 11 separate checks, thank you!

Colore has a parking lot and outdoor dining. They are a family owned and operated Italian American restaurant. They serve dishes ranging from the classic to the contemporary. There is a full bar with craft cocktails, local beers, and a decent wine list. Offering take-out, delivery, and catering, Colore has been a consistent presence in Denver. The restaurant is modern, bright and contemporary with large windows, butcher block tables, booths, and soft leather chairs. Prompt attention is paid to all diners and perfect execution of the dishes and service by wait staff.

The service was great with our trainee waiter; however, the food missed the mark. While the portion sizes are perfect, the pasta itself was not that flavorful. Plenty of sauce and meat but no actual flavor. It was mild compared to other Italian restaurants in denver.The salad is just Romain with a house dressing. Nothing to rave about there. The deserts completely missed. We got the peach bread pudding and tiramisu. The tiramisu lacked that coffee cocoa crème flavoring and tasted mostly of whipped cream. The bread pudding was just warmed peach bread soaked in a sauce, lacked the pudding texture. 3 stars because they are so nice and have a great location and vibe.

The best indulgent Italian restaurant without the heavy bill. Im so amazed by how approachable this menu was. Not only in dishes, but also in price. Cocktails also were very affordable. I enjoyed their white wine sangria. I adored their spiked melon and fruits in the sangria. One drink lasted throughout the meal for less than $13.Now the food, lasagna bolognese and pesto pasta with crispy prosciutto and mushrooms. Both so hearty, both made us feel so satisfied and comfty. We loved the outdoor patio, which is completely heated. Inside was pretty but it seemed quite loud for us. If you reserve online you can choose which area to sit. We didn't reserve and was lucky to get a table right away. But a wait quickly enforced right after we sat. So I recommend calling ahead for the future.2 entrees, 2 cocktails set us back only $60 before tip. 10/10 would come again. And im getting a dessert next time!

Service was 10/10-SUPER fast seating and food delivery; make sure you make reservations they were super busy Friday night Starters were 8/10-delicious Cesar saladDrinks 10/10-loved the mango ice tea Entrees 7/10-the sauce was on the watery side; missing more texture and flavor; portions were okay; wish they served complimentary baguette with pasta plates Desert 8/10- delicious dark chocolate cakeAmbiance 8/10- enclosed patio is great for a romantic date while the inside is busy and loud but colorful and warm; if you sit inside just know that a lot of the good and bad kitchen vapors come out into the dining area (at one point the entire dining space indoors was foggy because of the fumes coming from the kitchen) Parking 10/10- we found street parking immediately

What a wonderful surprise. Three of us met here for lunch. The soup of the day was a mexican themed dish with huge chunks of avocado and just the right amount. The salads were amazingly fresh and so tasty and the Canoli to complete the meal was wonderful and well presented. Our server was very knowledgeable and just a joy to deal with.

Recently tried out Colore for dinner and we truly enjoyed our meals! For our entrees we tried the linguine alla vongole and the penne bolognese, both were fantastic. The wine options were great, the service always offered more bread and oil if we wanted, desserts were fantastic. We are now true fans of this restaurant and can't wait to come back! I should mention that they have both indoor and patio seating, an easy access parking lot, and nice decor to create an inviting space for a meal.

We were in town for a week and tried this restaurant. It was so good we went back a second time before leaving town.
