I tried this place for the first time because it was near my new place. I saw how bad the reviews are and saw that the newer ones were better so I gave it a shot. A small family seems to own and it looks like they've improved a lot in terms of quality, the interior, and service! The guy was super nice and brought the food to my car; something he didn't have to do. I ordered the General Tso chicken and while it's different from how other places do it , it was very good. If your willing to try a new spin on the dish I recommend this place! Give it a shot!

Sadly, I am just not a fan. With Chinese food delivery at the ready here in Atlanta and Buford Highway right around the corner, I honestly expected more out of Chopsticks. From delivery time to overall quality of the food, Chopsticks simply missed the mark with me. We have ordered twice from Chopsticks in the last year with Sweet and Sour Chicken and House Fried Rice being our go to's, along with egg rolls and wonton soup. Upon arrival of our food on both occasions, the chicken in the Sweet and Sour Chicken was cold and soggy. The sauce used for the dish is also a little bit more tart that I am used to. The House Fried Rice is decent, I honestly don't really have an issue with the dish itself...I think the downfall here was again with the delivery delay and receiving the dish more on the luke warm side. The soup, which is weirdly what I usually use as a barometer of overall quality when it comes to Chinese delivery places, was less than impressive and was not what I am used to wonton soup being. Overall, there seem to be better options in the area for Chinese delivery. I gave Chopsticks two attempts, but I was sadly disappointed both times...so now, I must move on and head back to Buford Highway to obtain my Chinese delivery moving forward.

Took much longer than estimated, and order was incorrect. Do not expect your notes to be read for any items you order, they don't even see the instructions. I ordered no egg, and not only did the dish have egg, it's also had a random piece of chicken, and I'm a vegetarian. Turned into an entire hour ordeal.

My daughter had a long day of basketball at the GWCC so we decided to just go back to our room at the Hampton Inn and order pizza. After LivePD came on we got to watching and never ordered our pizza. So we went with the All-American Burger fries and egg rolls . The food was nice and hot and delicious. The delivery man was super friendly and I wish I would have had more cash on me I would have tipped him more even though we payed and tipped through PayPal. Will order again if we ever come back this way!

I moved here from Michigan and I can not find a good late night Chinese place. This was definitely the worst of the ones I've tried. Terrible service, can't understand anything and the place is gross. People should be ashamed to be running a business like this.And... I'm pretty positive they gave me a small when I paid for a large. I asked for no onion and there's definitely onion on my order. On top of that, it's the worst hunan chicken I've ever had in my life, literally. The rice isn't cooked completely... I don't know where to stop, but I know I will not be stopping there again.

Worst chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. I don't even know if the chicken was real. The only reason we picked this place for delivery was because it was the only place open late in Atlanta around Emory, but seriously, it's not worth it. It would be better to starve for the night.

I, like the reviewer before me, don't understand the hate for Chopsticks. As a student, you come to value the importance (the necessity, even) of late-night delivery, and Chopsticks definitely delivers on this part. Decent chinese food to your door at 2:30am-- that's at least 3 stars right there! And it's not half bad! Especially if you stick to the safer options, like the "hot and sour"s and the "sesame"s. If you order through Foodler or CampusFoods, they also have a special for free hot and sour soup if you order more than $15.00, and it comes with these crispy stick things to dip into the soup! Not bad at all! My recommendations:Crab Rangoons: Crispy, good shell and filling-- just a solidly good crab rangoon.Spring Rolls: Same as the Rangoon-- solidly good vegetable spring roll. It's what I look for in a spring roll and it's what I get from Chopsticks.Hot and Sour Soup: Good, actually hot, which is amazing for me because most "hot" and sour soups are just sour. Good flavoring and very consistent. House Special Tofu: This is actually one of the healthier and very decent options on the menu-- it's my staple from this restaurant. Tofu is friend chewy on the outside, but soft and mushy on the inside~ Yum :DD Comes with plenty of veggies like broccoli, snow peas, carrot, zucchini~Haagen Daz Ice Cream: Hey, yes, it's horribly overpriced, but it's also delicious and delivered to your door when you can't possibly spare the time/energy to drive out! (late night cramming-- wooo! :O)Stay away from!!!!Egg Drop Soup: Tastes like dishwater-- I'm really not kidding. It was awful.Calamari: It was a daring try for me because I stick to very conservative things when it comes to "junk" chinese food, and I was burned for it. Soggy, not crispy at all and flavorless. Egh, all in the trash.Anything overly elaborate: "Spicy Garlic Eggplant", I'm looking at you! Just don't order anything that requires special flavoring or craftsmanship... Just... no.Use common sense and stick with the simple stuff-- Chopsticks does well at that, and that's more than I can say for most of the americanized-chinese food places in Atlanta. (Lucky Buddha, Mandarin Palace, Burger Joy........ looking at you guys.)

I'm leaving 5 because the old reviews are no indicative of what this place is like now. Had it last night as I just moved to ATL. Very good. Proportions are large to justify 15$ for takeout. Szechuan Chicken was spicy, loaded with veggies, and overall great. The hours open is a huge plus for anyone that works late night. Will be going back. The reviews from 1+ year ago are outdated, and I will be going back.Updated: had this again as leftovers and it was even better! Will say online price was different than in store not sure way. It was like 2$ or less.

Hard to believe all these 1 star reviews. Tried this place last night, it was one of the few places open past 10(open until 3am!) and the food was good. Had dumplings, springs rolls, Szechuan beef, and sesame chicken. Will definitely be ordering again. I'd give food alone 3 stars but the hours is a big+ if you're a night owl, so 4 stars.

Would give it zero if I could. I wasn't wanting much other than a simple late night meal. I ordered a simple pad Thai and "grilled bowl." My fork literally broke upon attempting to pierce the stale hard flesh of the chicken wing that comprises my "grilled bowl" which had morphed into a bizarro burrito thing. The food tasted old. Pork was dry and old on the pad Thai and had the flavor of an old boot. This is the worst food I've had in 10 years and this place should be shut down by the health department. It was so bad that after eating I was so worried about food poisoning that I attempted to gag myself into expelling it with the handle of my toothbrush. They've scammed the grubhub reviews to show 4.5 stars but it's obviously fake. I don't know what else to say other than that you are better off not eating anything at all than eating any of their food.
