Choong Man Chicken - Georgia Tech

During my "hungry girl day in." I Ordered the whole chicken soy garlic tikkudak & mozzarella sticks via UBER. My order came out to 62 bucks! This is probably the worst Korean fried chicken I ever had. The chicken taste as if it was sitting all day long. I'm so disappointed I wasted my money. I stepped outside and gave it a homeless person. Too much money spent just to throw away!

Went at 4ish on Saturday. It was plenty of seating. Orders are placed via kiosks. The order was complete at 4:24. It was ready at 4:31. Nice. First off, it's very pricey. When you order the wings, there are no size options. It's just wings. $14.99. The traditional menu states is 14 ounces. The chicken was fresh when we got it. Both orders seemed like mainly drums. 2/3 flats out of 10. Bummer. The sauces were very good. But the chicken was drenched in the sauces so some (most) of the chicken got super soggy. We had the garlic soy and the garlic spicy. I'm glad I didn't get the red hot pepper. The garlic spicy had my nose running. There was no consistency in the chicken sizes. Some of the drums were HUGE. I'm not a fan. Overall. 7/10. A side of fries is $4.55. Excessive for a small cube styrofoam. The fries were horrible. We literally ate a few and threw them in the trash. Not taste. Hint of onion like maybe onion rings were battered or fried with them.

This place is located by Georgia Tech. Its pretty small, but its always a lot of people there when I am doordashing from here. The service at this place is fairly quick and straight to the point for the most part, so I cant say much about if they are friendly or not. But of course they greet you when you walk to the counter. There chicken wings are big in size in my opinion, and came with like 10 pieces of chicken I believe (both flats and drums). So I didnt finish all of that on one sitting of course. But the flavors are really good. Im really picky about my chicken when I do eat it, so I wont say its the best place. I also dont like to much breading on my chicken wings, so thats what I didnt like. But the flavors are there. I ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken flavor.

This is one of the places in Atlanta I can't believe I didn't try sooner!! I'd passed by this korean fried chicken spot in Duluth & Midtown and my boyfriend and I finally decided to try it for takeout. Ordering over the phone was fine, and the order was ready within 10 minutes. We ordered the garlic soy & and garlic spicy chicken wings and they were GREAT! The garlic soy was more like a dry rub, but had fantastic sauce and flavor. The garlic spicy was realll saucy and the garlic spicy was great - personally I'd love more spice. Both were still crispy and incredible size for wings! At $13.99 for 10 wings, this place will keep us coming back!

Overall 5/5: I've only done take out here, but always my go to when craving korean fried chicken. Choong Man Chicken is conveniently located near Georgia Tech campus, and is in my rotation for take out nearby. Food 5/5: I always get the soy garlic chicken which never fails. The chicken is crunchy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. On the side we always get their rice and radishes. We love them to cut away from the flavor bomb that happens when you eat the chicken here. We always get extra radishes, pairs perfectly with the dish. Service 5/5: Even though we always get take out, it is always friendly. The food never takes long to finish, at most 15 minutes. Go right up to the counter and the wonderful staff will always take care of you.Parking 5/5: It is located in the same building as sublime donuts, and the parking lot could be redone, but not on them. Still a good location and parking is easy for a quick grab and go. Thank you, Choong Man Chicken!

I really love Korean fried chicken and this place satisfied my craving.The snow onion and soy garlic wings (my favorite) were both great. The snow onion is packed so that the onions and sauce are both separate from the wings to ensure crispy chicken. They give you pickled white radish on the side, which helps cut the oiliness from the KFC.Some advice: do NOT eat inside the restaurant. Even though they have all their chairs and tables ready, it is not meant to be a place to dine in. The bathroom was horribly filthy, the trash in the dining area was filled, and overall the vibe felt dirty. I was desperately hungry, so I ate inside. The cashier seemed shocked when we sat down and started chowing down. It basically operates as an UberEats/takeout joint, so if you do either of those, you should be fine.

Always fast service, and the food is always nice, hot and crispy. This location is clean, modest looking, and reliable.

Everytime I get the spicy korean friend chicken it is so good and fresh! The only complaint I have is that it is a little high dollar and sometimes the wings aren't perfect little chickens. Out of their control. Fast & polite service. Shout out to the white man that works in the front he's always a a joy.

Well, Thank goodness DD keeps track of deliveries for me because I wouldn't have been able to figure this location out. I do remember this place had some really good chicken. I ordered Garlic spicy,Garlic Chicken,kimchi and onion rings. All arrived in a short time span and was still very crunchy. Portions were huge and filling the flavors were pronounced. If I had realized this was my chance to finally try one of the snow versions I would've jumped on that chance. But I recall being too exhausted to read thoroughly after partying all night lol Next time, I will try something like the Sweet Onion snow.

There was plenty of chicken tenders but it tasted like it was fried in old oil grease.
