Chook Chicken

Absolutely love this Denver chain, especially if you're watching your waistline.I've been here a few times to get some deliciously roasted chicken with veggie-friendly sides. Each time I try something new, and am never disappointed. It's easy to eat in, or dine out.Also, the chicken here isn't the only thing that's smokin' hot. I've never been to a restaurant where everyone is so good looking? Plenty of eye candy to feast on, too.

Dropped in here unexpectedly but so glad we did. Their rotisserie chicken was hot and fresh. I am not a white meat person but boy I might be now, at least from here. Tender, juicy, flavorful and the sauces take it up even another level of happiness. Service was amazing too. You order up front and they bring your food to the table. Being first timers, we needed a bit of help and they were so nice and their suggestions were spot on. Our two seater table seemed a bit small but in the end worked out just fine.We look forward to coming back here the next time we are in the area. Maybe even come back ti return here. What a super great place to eat.

This place is a life saver for two working parents with three small kids. High quality, healthy, and delicious home style cooked dinners make week night dinner planning panics much easier to handle. We always love the food Chook has to offers, BUT....we stopped in last night and were blown away by how awesome the service was! These guys were super busy, but JADE and LENNY made it look easy getting the job done with a high level of service. Service which we find is slipping pretty much everywhere else. Despite a line to the door, Jade was friendly and patience with a high touch client requiring a bit more help. She explained the menu and options to him thoughtfully and with care. As soon as he was square away, Jade made quick work of getting our order in and rolling. While we waited, we noticed how the food prep was handled quickly and effectively. We counted 8 orders ahead of us, but these guys made things look easy. Lenny and Jade both were attentive. They were checking on us throughout the process. They ensured we were squared away while we waited - offering drinks and making sure we were all set. I appreciated that thoughtful touch. We took our food to go and were pleased with everything we got. Our recommendations:Family Meal - piri piri/chimichurri- mac and cheese- smashed cucumbers- falafel (first time getting but tasted great)- chopped saladWHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T FORGET TO GET OR TRY THE LAMMINGTONS!

First time coming into this place and I was blown away. Awesome setup and amazing food. I got the chicken curry sandwich and the avacado chicken sandwich. Both fantastic!Great location and the people who work here are very friendly. You can see the cook the moment you walk in and what he's up to. Behind him will be the chicken's cooking. This place has quality everything and makes sure everything is of utmost quality. The B certified is a pretty big deal that I had no idea about until I was informed what it was. It's been 2 years since I visited this Chook location on S Pearl St. I am on their email list and kept getting emails once a month. The outside and inside has not changed. I compared the current menu versus the 2022 version. Prices have increased about $ .50 for each item. There are more details regarding ingredients for every item, so easier to identify food allergies You still order at the counter, get a table sign and they deliver your food and drinks to you. The offer a few canned beers and premade batched cocktails plus Attimo wines (red, white, rose and bubbles) by the glass. I got the 1/4 chicken meal with 1 side (charred veggies) for $ 12.95 + an additional side of Mashers & Gravy for $3.75; The mashed potatoes were good. The charred veggies had broccoli, cauliflower, dukkah spice, carrots, nuts and cashews. I added the Chop salad with lettuce, bacon, cherry tomatoes, tahini dressing and lots of blue cheese crumbles all for only $ 8.95; My drink was a glass of Attimo red wine blend for $ 7.50; A most enjoyable meal.

This was probably a 3.5 star experience, rounded up for convenient pickup (they'll bring it out to your car).The chicken was good - juicy and flavorful! - but the sides were a letdown. The "charred" vegetables definitely were not - they were undercooked and hard. The mac and cheese was pretty terrible! It was dry and lumpy without much sauce or flavor. The peri-peri sauce that came with the chicken was good (but tasted more like red bell pepper than peri-peri.) The salad was good too (I got the beet berry one.) I'd give it another try but was bummed two of the side dishes were very lackluster.

Cute space! Order on the counter sit down and enjoy or take it home! We love this place whether it is done in, takeout or delivery. The mum's gravy is to die for we could down drink cups of it! They have a lot of fun sides we like the corn and mashed potatoes a lot. We also love grabbing their sliders or the BLAT sandwich If you're not doing just a rotisserie, which is very very good as well. We've been known to grab a slider or two to go with our rotisserie and we don't regret it! There's parking in front of the place and I hope it never goes anywhere because it is a fixture to our rotation!

This place is incredibly kid friendly. There's a corner with a bunch of toys, chalk, coloring items. They have changing tables in the restrooms plus step stool for littles to reach the sink to wash hands. The food is excellent too. The family meals are a pretty good deal and provides plenty of food plus leftovers for our family of three.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. When I looked at the menu I thought it would be very basic but the sandwich had good flavor and d the bread was toasted perfectly. The side of Mac and cheese was basic. Next time I will get the roasted veggies which I had a taste of. The margaritas were okay but a little small for the price. Service was fine since you order at the counter and they bring it to you.

The best chicken salad sandwich!! I'm from the South and found not many places in Denver offer this. Staff are always attentive and service is quick! Cute restaurant. Rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes are also great!!
