I've been searching for a good Chinese restaurant. The rice tastes old, horrible, and has a pet smell. The other thing the grease could be grease old. I will never be back to this restaurant. Be Aware!! This is the worse review and food I've had.

Ordered and ready in 15 minutes.Honey chicken. Was breaded like fried chicken livers, not the usual puffs of pastry like dough you usually get. 1/5The fried rice was pretty bland and greasy. The peas crunchy. 1/5Beef with Mushrooms and gravy. Wife liked it. 4/5Egg Roll - Wasn't too fresh Fortune Cookies didn't have any fortunes inside. But I'll make my own and just say He who has bad meal will not come back.

This place is unsanitary, lady at the front counter is rude. Told me she was busy, do I want to order or not after asking her to explain the ingredients in a dish. Door is wide open with cats running around the outside. Food is cheap for a reason. Nobody is using gloves, but man in the back is sweating and wiping it away with his hands. If I could rate is a 0I would. Place needs a health inspection because it's not sanitary.

Hey barefoot or not idc. This Chinese is lit. First Chinese I've had around here that has pork fried rice, like in NY. I door dashed so I can't say anything about the environment but honestly I don't care.

This is the closest my mom and I have gotten to NY style Chinese food! Which I am soooo appreciative of because I miss our Chinese restaurants most! Our food is always great! Taste good, prepared well and we're never disappointed. My sesame shrimp was prepared perfectly, crispy and well done and I am a fan of their egg rolls. The boneless rib tips are great too. Love that I can get my combos just like back home. Highly recommend.

I'm really not a fan of Americanized Chinese food. Everything is a knockoff of everything else. And everything else is just this goopy saucy mess with no flavor, tons of MSG, and a lot of corner cutting to simply knock out order volume rather than authenticity and flavor which takes time, planning, preparation, and definitely a little bit of knowledge.China Garden is essentially the same thing but worse in the sense that they do all the above and give you nothing with it.I was hungry but couldn't leave work so I had to do some takeaway and looked on another site that specializes in the delivery of various restaurants. So I check out the prices and found one that fits my price point (let me just say, this place still didn't fit my price point!). I hadn't had Panda Express style Chinese food in a hot minute so I figured, why not splurge a bit on bad food.I type in my order and plug in all the stuff I want and find out, this site forces a tip as well as a delivery fee and tax. What posed to be a $10 meal turned into an $18 mess. And that's just checking out.The delivery guy arrives earlier than expected which is cool but needless to say, this place just didn't deliver on flavor, amount, much less of anything. It might have been better to get Panda Express. At least there, you'll get volume.I finally sit down at my desk and open up the meal. The pork eggroll was decent so I didn't mind that so much but it's the entree that just made me wonder how this could amount to $18?I get the Hunan Pork dish. I think in all, there were about 10 thin slices of char sui style roast pork. The rest was this bland, MSG laden slime type of sauce that's riddled with vegetables. Generic, unimpressive, and lacked any sense of passion in the cooking. 10 thin slices of pork in a flavorless concoction of sauce and vegetables. There was more baby corn and broccoli in the plastic tub than there were meat. It was seriously a big waste of $18 dollars. The worst still was the menu labeled this dish as "spicy". Not an ounce of spice. There wasn't anything to this Hunan Pork dish. No spice. No flavor. No passion. No effort.Biggest waste of $18. God only knows what goes on IN the restaurant but based on this restaurants average, I can't say I'm surprised.

Ordered the orange chicken combo plate that comes with entree, pork fried rice and eggroll as well as the Singapore style chow mei fun. The order was quoted to take 10 minutes and they kept their word. Portions were generous and the pork fried rice has good flavor. You can tell from the char on the veggies and rice that it is cooked in a wok. Mild flavor on the orange chicken but I'm glad it's not an artificial flavor. Singapore noodles are flavorful; you can smell the curry as you lift the fork to your nose. Slightly salty but given that they looked paler in color than the Singapore noodles I'm used to, I thought they would be bland. Glad they weren't. Will order again.

So, can I label a place located in Morningside as a "Hole-in-the-Wall!? A 99 current health score (Which they have) is ALWAYS happiness! The food was just okay and the customer service and cost was about on par with it's contemporaries, so you can do worse, but you can also do MUCH better!

The food is just shockingly mid and flavorless for how expensive it is. I paid 22 bucks for a single entree and an extra white rice. 5 BUCKS FOR WHITE RICE PEOPLE! it certainly wasn't awful food, but within walking distance are 3 other similar Asian food spots with better flavors, portion and prices.. with that in mind, it's really hard to justify going here ever. I'd avoid it.
