Visited this food truck and had their bird's nest which was crinkle fries, topped with choppped chicken barbeque and melted cheese. It was amazing and what made the even better was that the fries were seasoned. Service was great and I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!

We were first introduced at the Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo but later they would frequent my new job. The chicken-n-que sandwich w/slaw is to die for! We always buy extra for later with the buns on the side so it doesn't get soggy. My coworker likes the black bean burger. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu eventually.

Food Truck Tuesday: this weeks stop Chick-N-QueI have visited this food truck a few times now and was craving it after I saw the list of options this week. I ordered the dinner plate which included eastern style chopped chicken BBQ, 2 sides (I opted for the potato salad and green beans), a roll and soda (pepsi or coke, you have options but lets just me honest coke is better) for only $10! This is a great deal for a food truck! Plus, it was delicious! I really enjoyed the potato salad it was dressing based instead of being sour cream or mustard based. I definitely recommend this truck!

I haven't eaten yet (I ate 3 fries, crispy to my likes! This is actually my 1st meal for the day (granola bars, til I was able to stop). Thankfully... I wad the last patron, as they were already 2hrs over their normal shut down time! That alone (plus their pleasantness), gave them 5 stars. I got to hear somebof their beginnings, & I would say... 'You do not get to be in business this long if you are not good (food & svc)!

Food trucks are usually a hit or a miss. To be honest, most time they are a miss. The $9-10 food truck prices can scare people away if they're not up for the experience. I have to vouch for Chick-N-Que! It's a hit! You may think to yourself "how good can chopped chicken bbq be?". It's quite amazing here! If it's your first time, I would suggest "The Bird's Nest". You can't go wrong with a bed of crinkle fries, topped with amazing chopped chicken bbq and cheese. There's a nice and light vinegar base bbq sauce in the chicken that gives it a perfect amount of saltiness paired with the amazing cheese on top! You might have to eat it with a fork but you'll be full by the final bite.

Friendliest people, with the best smiles. Get treated like family as soon as you walk up. Their sandwich was amazing and prizes are probably the best compared to most food trucks! Definitely check them out if you want classic southern food with a smile

I loved the dinner plate. The 'que had good flavor with the right amount of smoke. Sides both enjoyable. It made my lunch on this birthday of mine extra enjoyable.

BBQ lovers! Hear my cry. Be on the lookout for an emerging super star in BBQ food truck scene!A few of us went to Big Boss Taproom tonight (Thursday Jan-25) for the official tapping of the Big Operator; after a few pints down, and feeling famished, we ventured outside to the now regularly attended food truck participation. My friends headed over to Only Burger for the vegetarian choice, but I spotted a name interestingly unfamiliar: Chick-N-Que. WHAT A CLEVER NAME! Now you know exactly what they are selling.Their namesake on the menu is the chopped chicken barbecue sandwich, with or without coleslaw, but trust me, you would want the slaw. But don't you think for one second you got this food truck figured out. Ernest and Queen, the proprietor of the business, stated on their website that this idea "birthed from an overwhelming response to food served at football party," and this "guarded family recipe" has some pretty unique and savory taste. You like hot dog? Ever tried a chicken dog? How about an "Artisan" chicken sausage? I just had their chicken apple sausage dog, and it was quite interesting.Philly steak, in NC? Meh. Been there, done that. Now, how about some ostrich steak Philly? Yeah. Got your attention now didn't I?Now let me seal the deal with the introduction of the white chicken chili, grilled chicken breast, seasoned and shredded, simmering in diced tomato, cilantro and white kidney beans and topped off with fried tortilla strips and shredded cheddar. Yeah. That's the stuff.So. Follow. Their. Truck! or Twitter, whichever you think is easier (and easier on gasoline refill.)

Yuk. This was really kinda gross. I visited Chick-n-Que at the State Fair. Being a big fan of chicken and waffles, I was excited to try their wafflewich. Don't do it. I ordered the Wicked Wafflewich. *The waffle had been deep fried. (Why?)*The chicken tender was like a sad chicken nugget. More breading and filler than actual chicken. *The buffalo sauce and slaw were under-whelming. I was most likely distracted by all the breading. Look. To each. But I'll pass on this one.

I don't know how this place has bad ratings; the food is great and the prices are pretty decent too. The basic "barbecue sandwich" (chicken + slaw) is only $6, enough to splurge on some fries too. For $12 you can get the "Alarm Cluck" (chicken with jalapenos, pepper jack, and spicy mayo), made with a nice smoked chicken filet and fresh lettuce and tomato plus fries. If you're looking for some tasty smoked chicken I recommend this truck.
