This bake shop pop-up had a soft opening a few weeks ago, and I was superrr excited to try! It was great timing because I had a dinner with a friend whose birthday was the weekend after they opened, so I went ahead and got a cake from them on their opening day!The decor of the shop is cute and fun! I've tried their coffee here - was standard and would go great with one of the sweets. I hope they are here to stay through the holiday season - this shop is a welcome change on St. Clair!I bought one of the chocolate cakes. It was creamy and so bouncy and soft, not overly dense. Everything about the texture was perfect - it was just SO sweet!!! I'm not used to eating super sweet cakes, so it was obvious to me - if you love a sweeter cake this would probably be perfect for you.I met Zac at the opening - he was so sweet and gave me tips for safe "cake travel" for when I put the cake in my car. I'd be happy to swing back around and try a salad or croissant sometime!!

I love the new bakery pop up!I saw Zac Young on a WGN News segment. I loved his energy and unique bakery ideas, so decided to check out his pop up bakery in the Arkes building at the Northwestern Hospital campus. Sprinkletown is where Corner Bakery once was.The space is big and bright. It's colorful and fun. The staff matches the the same energy which really makes for an overall pleasant experience.Zac creates interesting pastries of all kinds. He puts his personal spin on traditional baked goods, which is a win for anyone who tries Sprinkletown. He is famous for his Piecaken, which is pie baked inside cake. I tried the Zacarons, his version of macarons. There were interesting flavors like, Chocolate Covered Banana and Cherry On Top. So tasty! The Cheesecake Cookie was crazy good! My favorite treat was the Yas Kween Aman, his version of Kouign Amann. It was crunchy, chewy and so delicious.I really hope this pop up turns into a permanent spot!

This is a pop-up 'til the end of the year and may go even longer and this used to be a Corner Bakery remember that! Had the Thick Mint Brownie. This business is affordable with everything mostly under six dollars and salads ten dollars and up. Staff & service is great.PS. It's card only for purchases.

If you don't try the piecaken then you are definitely missing out. The place is cute and organized. Rainbow cake peacocking through the counters. Very friendly service and you can see Zac busy helping out there, which was a pleasant surprise because I didn't expect him to be baking and working throughout the day as well. I got their chocolate chip sea salt cookie, chocolate croissant, a slice of piecaken, 5 zacarons and a coffee. I definitely love the chocolate chip cookie, it has both a chew in the center and a crunch on the edge. The salt is in every bite helps balance the palate so it doesn't taste too sweet. And generally speaking everything here has a really good sugar level. There's not one thing I eat and feel like it's too sweet. The croissant is really light and airy with a nice flakey exterior. I didn't think i'd like it as much because of the sprinkles on top but it adds another layers of crunch and texture which really pops. Piecaken tastes literally like fall in a bite if you get a little bit of each later. And different combinations give out different flavor and texture profiles. I initially thought the pie crust would clash with the cake and butter cream but it didn't. The crust is thin, and buttery, so it almost melts into the other layers. The 3 layers just works lol it's almost like a fall themed entremet but family sized. They sell it by the slice in store so if you just want to try it and don't want to committ to the entire cake, definitely visit the store and grab yourself a slice. Overall, very classy flavors with a fun twist. Really glad I stopped by, kind of wished I had tried the sausage and egg in a croissant too lol because it looks like it's baked inside the croissant and not just a sandwich. The brownie also looks fudgy and delicious but i'm not a fan of mint so I didn't try it lol if you like mint chocolate, then you have to try it.

That was the worst I've ever tasted. Flavors clashed with one another did not go well at all. Had 2 bites and I could not eat anymore. Disgusting..

DELICIOUS! I have tried just about everything there and have yet to be disappointed. You MUST try the piecaken.....seriously! But don't forget the cookies, the zacarons, the other cakes....if there is any way to make their presence permanent, I would be thrilled. Don't miss this!

Tried a few of different items including the famous piecaken. Found them very heavy and couldn't really enjoy the tastes of any. They look very pretty but that was all the joy I got out of them.
