It was my first time visiting the restaurant and the gentleman at the counter was so kind and welcoming. He explained the menu and answered my questions, with patience. Plus, the food is great! 10/10, would definitely recommend!

You know that feeling you get when you revisit a happy memory? I first tried a chicken Shawarma wrap in Houston in 2001 and I thought I had eaten the best ....fast forward to December 2024.... Its like I took a step back in time to a happy time in life and all it took was a chicken Shawarma wrap from Zabaadi The staff was very friendly and went as far as asking if I wanted to try some of their special hot sauce. My order was for take out, but I'm sure a visit to have a homestyle cooked meal would go very nice with the cozy dining area at the restaurant. Thanks Zabaadi y'all took me to a happy place on a cloudy day. One Love

Decent middle eastern food located right next to my house. Reasonable prices for plenty of protein and carbs. Decided to try out the place because of a promotion with Xsport and has definitely become my new middle eastern place for getting bowls at. So far i've only tried the protein bowl (xsport promotion) and falafel which have been amazing. Meat is juicy and flavorful and pairs well with the tahini and hot sauce. The bowls on the menu look amazing as well and I'm definitely going to try them next time as they come with hummus, pickles, cabbage. The falafels were the perfect ratio of crispy and soft inside. The people working here are very nice and respectful as well. Place is very well decorated and bright. Definitely nice for anyone tryna eat a meal there too.

I was recommended Zabaadi by a friend. Glad they sent me over here! I got the chicken shawarma bowl. It was delicious! Next time I want to try the Zabaadi bowl. I will definitely be coming back. If you are craving shawarma; this is a great spot to check out!

Zabaadi Mediterranean restaurant located @ 7052 W Forest Preserve Drive in the open mall area on the NE corner of Forest Preserve Drive & Harlem Ave across the street from The Harlem Irving Plaza otherwise known as HIP.We had a craving for Mediterranean food & wanted to try something new & different. What we discover was Zabaadi. We really enjoyed the food and the service. As you come in you order at the register & grab a seat. The gentleman who took our order was super nice, very personable & friendly & made us feel very welcome. The restaurant itself is very clean & spacious. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. They have a variety of Kebabs, Bowls & Wraps.We both ordered kebab bowls similar to Chipotle. My wife ordered the Chicken Kebab Bowl which came over a bed of rice w/salad of cucumber & tomatoes, red cabbage, hummus & a pickle for $12.95. I ordered the Steak Kebab Bowl which came over a bed of rice w/salad of cucumber & tomatoes, red cabbage, hummus & a pickle for $13.95. The steak was very tender and tasty (but a little salty). They marinate the steak to make it very tender. We both had leftovers for the next dayThis is somewhere I will definitely come back to as the food & service were very good w/super reasonable prices. A winning combination in my book.

Service is definitely 5 stars! Food was good but I think needed a little more spices to really pick it up from bland to exceptional.

Amazing food! We tried their rice bowls with hummus, falafel, and chicken. Everything was great. Staff were super friendly. The restaurant was clean and welcoming.

I have visited Zabaadi in person, ordered for pick up, and Uber eats this place is a little gem! Always fresh ingredients and tasty. Even the picks up my food was warm and made to order. I have had the hummus and baba ghanoush both had great flavors and were authentically made. My entree was the Zabaadi bowl which had grilled chicken kabob and kifta kabob. Very tender and grilled to perfection. The employees are friendly and asked how our meal was. They really cared. The restaurant was clean. Great spot, happy there is a Mediterranean restaurant close by. Will make this place a regular on my rotation of restaurants.

Delicious food with outstanding costumer service!!!!My fiancé and I are in town for a football tournament this weekend and when looking for dinner options near us we came across Zabaadi on Yelp. The stars rating and pictures sold us on this spot and we were so glad we decided to try it! From the moment we stepped foot in the door we were warmly greeted by the staff here. They patiently took our order, answered our questions, and made great recommendations. When I asked about the eggplant sauce they offered me a generous sample to try and it was out of this world! Everything we tried was fresh, authentic, and simply delicious. 10/10 all around! Food aside, the best part of the experience was Lina's costumer service along with the young gentleman at the register and the chefs who shared the ingredients of their delicious sauce with me. I've been dreaming about their fries since we left dinner last night, and hope to be back again before we head back home to the North East. Unfortunately I was done eating before I could take pictures, but take my word, the food here is exceptional! You won't regret it!
