Uptown Taproom

Interesting addition to the area. While they are advertising as a tap room, it was very nice to see that they had items for us non-beer drinkers to partake in. Pretty chilled vibe with two nice size areas outside for people to hang if they have dogs, which I appreciate as I am not big on eating indoors with them.The indoor area has great large windows, that allow indoor kitties like me that like the idea of being outside, but don't necessarily want to actually to be out there.Food is typical bar food, but executed well. Tacos were flavorful as well as the smash burger. The menu isn't large, but there is enough variety where you don't feel like you are eating the same thing.Service was good and attentive....we have had Garrett several times and he has been lovely and chatty :-)

Never a bad time, my favorite thing here is the amazing beer list. Love my IPAs and this place has the best! Food is great, limited menu tho. Only issue is service is hit or miss. Last time we had Katie and she was great. But the previous few times were had somebody else and we were always waiting, we'll see maybe she's gone now. The place is always a few more buck than we expect, but nothing crazy, just something to remember when going in! Worth trying! Outdoor seating and cool photos on the wall of historic uptown!

Great addition to the neighbourhood. Friendly service, great space, large patio, huge windows that open to the sidewalk. There is a menu for tasty treats that we will have to take a look at when we have more time.

There isn't a lot of synergy here. Burger is overpriced and has a school cafeteria feel and taste to it. Salad didn't have dressing options and the croutons were just pieces of hamburger bread ran through an oven toaster. It makes an earnest attempt but it falls short of the price you pay for it and better food options in the area. If you want to try the beer, then give it a go but do some research ahead of time.Pros: a good place to people watch and meet up with a group of friends for beers. Don't over complicate it and get food!Service depends on the day and time you go in.

I stopped in today for a snack and a cocktail. The staff could not be more friendly! Brenna and Levy provided great suggestions. I had the Redline cocktail to start. A refreshing winter drink.I had the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower for my snack. Both yummy, but Brussels win. Vi came over to chat with me and check how I enjoyed my food.Overall a lovely experience. I would suggest adding some more food choices when they get up and running. Welcome to our neighborhood!

Only had a drink here so my experience is somewhat limited, but also had an odd experience. Met up with some friends who were already out on the patio, and the server was super nice to bring over extra chairs and take our orders right away. The patio itself is a nice area, and dog friendly which is great. There was a slight mixup for some of the group who ordered a second drink. Some came late, some drinks that weren't ours got delivered, and then they had to clarify some other ones. Again, our server was super nice and helpful about it so it wasn't a big deal. It wasn't super busy so just a little odd that things got that mixed up in the first place.We were told very clearly that the patio closed at 10. Okay, we got it, so as 10 approached we started finishing up our drinks. Again we were told, 10pm. Okay, got it. We assumed there would be a couple minutes grace so we didn't have to chug our drinks (especially since we didn't get them as quickly as we had planned due to the ordering snafu). Nope, 10pm we were asked to either leave or go inside, and they were a little rude about it. They said it had something to do with city ordinance, which I understand, but we weren't being belligerent at all and just wanted another minute to finish a drink.Since one of our group had a dog, we asked where we could go to finish our drinks (since we didn't think the dog would be allowed inside). Our server told us we could briefly go out to the beer garden to finish drinks, but then bartender inside told us in no uncertain terms that was not allowed. So we ended up chugging our drinks and left.Overall, it's a nice ambience and the drinks were good. The experience got a little soured though by the attitude of the employees towards the end. We understand there are rules but if they had taken a minute to listen to us, they would have realized we were trying to be helpful instead of just arguing with them.

A local in the neighborhood bar that is chill on the inside with two great outdoor spaces. Service was great and our server was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is chill and super casual. While not a huge beer selection, what they offer tastes good. Food isn't out of this world, but it's something to snack on and share while hanging out. Not super expensive either, which is a nice change! Would recommend as a local low key spot to grab a drink with friends or a date.

While on vacation, we visited for a few rounds.The staff are perfect, their recommendations were on point. They definitely understood the assignment. The beer selection on tap is not vast but covers all categories with great selections. Look forward to returning.

I live in the neighborhood with my partner and come down here for dinner sometimes. We had family visiting and brought them because we love the food. Unfortunately, we had bad service from one of the girls working tonight. For some reason there was an attitude of "I don't want to be working today" and eye rolls, so her tip matched her tone.We'll be coming again, but with bad service comes bad tips.

Such a friendly place! Dog friendly! Food on point! Indoor and outdoor seating! Brenna was a great server, definitely will be back.
