Just tried the new location. Same great food. I especially love their peas. These are the best fish and chips in the city. Love the new space. Only complaint is if you sit toward the front it's a little too warm for my taste but they have fans in the dining room.

All you can eat fish and chips on Wednesdays! This was probably the best fish and chips I've had in a really long time! Perfectly fried, not greasy, definitely not over batter, good fish to batter ratio and it's like under $20 for all you can eat. Can't beat that! The tater sauce was also excellent. Good crispy chips and peas were pretty good too. We sat at the bar they have a large whiskey selection. Service is nice and quick. Lots of seating inside also! One down side was, it was very warm in there and the ceiling fans weren't on. It was one of those days were it was 85 degrees and 60% humidity and you definitely felt some of that inside.

We came here on Ash Wednesday which was also Valentine's Day. We arrived at just the perfect time when there was plenty of tables available. The place got packed by the time we finished eating. Not sure if people came here because of Ash Wednesday, or because they have all you can eat Fish & Chips on Wednesdays and Fridays. Maybe it gets like this every night. Whatever the reason was, I hope it continues to stay busy. The staff here as very friendly and welcoming. We of course did not come for Valentine's Day. We stopped in because it was Ash Wednesday and wanted to take advantage of their all you can eat Fish & Chips. The price was fair and it's literally all you can eat. They start you off with two strips with fries(chips) and green peas. Once you finish that plate, you can then ask for fish. The fish itself tasted fresh and perfectly fried in a beer batter. It paired well with the malt vinegar. Would definitely take advantage of this special again in the near future. I didn't get anything to drink on this visit. While I'm not big on Scotch whiskey, they have a huge selection for anyone that is interested. I'll probably get a couple of beers next time. Beer goes perfect with fried fish.

Ahh! This used to be Renaldi's, remember that? They used to be on 2913 Clark for years (I haven't been to the old one because I don't stay around there). Now there back!! I had their Fries. The staff and service is superb.

Good news everyone. Duke of Perth is open again. Check out the new address. If you're familiar with the neighborhood, it's where Ranalli's used to be. We will be checking the place out soon. I looked at pictures of the new place and it looks like it is bigger than the old one. That is a definite improvement. I'm sure they will appreciate some of their regulars following them to the new spot as well as picking up new customers. Best place in town for fish and chips.

All you have to know: Wednesday and Friday nights are all-you-can-eat fish and chips. As a big fan of fish and chips, I think all fish and chip plates are perfect. Some are just more perfect than others. In terms of Duke and Perth, they serve up a very solid version of the dish. Peas and accompanying tartar sauces are also very solid. The couple times I've gone I didn't opt to get a drink just because I wanted to save room in my stomach for more food, but seems like they have a pretty robust selection. This spot is definitely a game of quantity over quality, but that's not to say it's not delicious. I think maybe just the seasoning of the fish isn't out of the park, but I guess people say that about food from the UK/Ireland all the time, right? Tartar sauce and ketchup can do wonders though.Be forewarned though, consumption of this much fried food will definitely put you at risk of feeling absolutely trash afterwards and/or some heartburn. But for me, that's a risk I'm willing to take every now and then. A great pick if you're just trying to maximize on fish and chips. I know there are other items on their menu, but... that's not what I go to Duke of Perth for.

Duke of Perth is a perfect Scottish bar to get the best fish and chips! Fish is lightly breaded, fluffy and not greasy. Beer and drink menu is sufficient and staff is friendly. It's nice to have a local, old school, type of bar with good food close by.

Food was COLD and service was SLOW. The bartender and server worked hard but the place allowed too many customers for the number of staff on hand. Don't recommend going until they figure out how to balance their staffing with number of customers. We had 2 simple fish & chips plates & 2 hamburgers. All 4 of us found our food cold when arrived. We accepted it because it would have taken another hour to get our food hot, and we had no expectation this would happen. Avoid Duke of Perth until they get their act together.

All you can eat was really more like all you can wait. It was not busy. Portions got smaller and smaller and we felt like we inconvenienced the server who would walk past us many times and ignore. Overall would not go back as the fish was not a show stopper and the fries were frankly disappointing in comparison.Definitely not worth it in my opinion.
