My absolute FAVORITE lunch spot. This is the only place I'm a regular at. The owners and workers are so kind to me. The food smacks too. They usually make me fresh falafel and loaf up the toppings. I love the hummus and the pickled onions. I have also tried the desserts which are tasty! The line is usually out the door at lunch too! Cannot recommend enough for great food at an even greater price! Side story: I went with my coworker who packed a lunch so only I bought food but they still gave her a few falafels to go. So sweet!

Good, not great! I got takeout and the chicken sandwich fell apart by the time it got to me. The fries were very oily, and not crisp. I wouldn't order again unfortunately :(

Best falafel I've had in Chicago hands down @tazacafechicago The Loop, ChicagoMade with so much LOVEEE , this Mediterranean spot is super low key but been around for 13 years! Come in for platters , order catering for your office, group order with your office (sharing a ), or even grab a quick dinner after work in the loop All the food is made daily by Hamza (originally from Jordan). He gets in about 5-6am before the 10:30am lunch period begins. We got the below plates, all of their popular items that comes with fluffy dill basmati rice (so good!), Creamy Hummus + pita, and a cucumber tomato Mediterranean salad: Taza Combo (Chicken Shawarma & Gyro) Chicken Kabob & Falafel combo Falafel salad Their falafels are the BEST I've had in Chicago so far. hamza makes 500-2000+ of them dailyThey're fried fresh so they're super crunchy Packed with flavor with chickpeas, garlic, coriander, spices like cumin, s&p Make sure to get the assorted baklava. Food and service was amazing. I had the chicken falafel lunch special and it was completely delicious and filled with authentic flavors. Being raised with traditional middle eastern cuisine; whenever I find rare gems like Taza it makes me happy that a local restaurant has been a success for the past 15 years! This place is so good!! Order in person for fairer pricing and options. The staff is nice and the service is quick. I ordered a side of 3 falafels but they were a little small so wish I had ordered 6. The falafel was really good perfect crisp and flavor and I also ordered rice (not what i'm used to but good) and Baba Ghanouj (amazing too). Dolma was also really really good and i'm normally not a fan of them. Hummus was subtle and yummy. Will definitely come back!
