Nice setting, and easy parking for most of the time. Lots of variety of good and fresh sushi. This is the only place that we go to when we want AYCE sushi.I've tried other AYCE sushi and nothing compares to this one.

We went with all you eat menu on 4th of July for $31.99. This location seems newer than the Wicker Park location and certainly not as busy. Very family friendly environment as toddlers can eat for free if 1+ person orders buffet.Their menu is on the smaller side compared to Mira Sushi in Chinatown. Although food quality seems better and less salty. My personal favorites include spicy salmon, sesame balls and eel nigiri. They limit the amount of desserts you can order but they all taste pretty good. Street parking is available or take blue line and get off at California.

This has become my husband's and I go to location when we are craving AYCE sushi. The service is always great and the wait staff is always ready to assist in giving recommendations.There is usually parking on Milwaukee and the wait time is usually reasonable.

Ordered delivery, decent sushi and maki rolls for the price. Not quite top tier, but quality is aligned with prices. I ordered Spicy Tuna Roll misreading them for hand rolls, ugh bad mistake and not enough sriracha mayo. However, I liked that the 3 Signature Rolls deal allowed me to try different rolls and save a few bucks- I ordered Godzilla Roll, Angel Hair Roll, Mango Tango Roll.

I love this place. I've been to a number of AYCE sushi places but this is by far the best one I have been to. How could this have escaped my radar for 5 years? I went here for lunch today & absolutely chowed down. AYCE sushi for $22.99 @ Lunche 12-3:30 pm M-F. Some of these AYCE places have pieces of sushi that are wafer thin (1/16"). This is no exaggeration 1/16" pieces of sushi (WTF?). THIS IS NOT THE CASE @ Sushi Taku. Sushi Taku has big meaty pieces of sashimi on the nigiri (see pictures). AYCE sushi for $22.99Today I chowed down. * Tempura Soft Shell Crab - Absolutely delicious * Volcano Roll (5 pieces) * Godzilla Roll (8 pieces). * 8 pieces of nigiri sushi - 2 Maguro, 2 Hamachi, 2 Sake & 2 UnagiSushi Taku has 2 locations the one I was at on 2283 N Milwaukee (Logan Square) & the other one in Wicker Park @ 1904 W Division. Brought out the family to eat some sushi here. We were able to get a table right away despite them being busy. The whole place was pretty full and the service was friendly and top notch. We started off with an order of their fried Gyoza. These were a little on the small side, but still very delicious. We ordered a total of 6 different rolls and they were all delicious. Salmon roll-simple, salmon tasted fresh, this was my daughters favorite. Crazy Tuna Roll-I ordered this one because it had 2 spicy next to it, but it was not spicy at all. Caterpillar roll-I usually get this at every sushi place. You can never go wrong with avocado. Also came with eel sauce, eel and cucumber. Really good. Volcano-This was definitely my favorite. Love the presentation on this one. It came with cream cheese, avocado, spicy tuna, jalapeño and then fried and topped with eel and spicy Mayo. Love the crunch that this one has and then the combination of flavors. Crispy Roll-Similar in appearance and taste as the Volcano roll, another delicious roll. This one came with smoked salmon, avocado, asparagus, cream cheese and then fried and topped with spicy Mayo and eel sauce. Shrimp Tempura Roll-Another simple classic. You can never go wrong with shrimp tempura, some more avocado, cucumber and then topped with eel sauce. Overall I was very satisfied with everything we ordered including their service. They also serve nigri & sashimi by piece. Next time I'll probably order some pieces to try out. They also offer AYCE, also interested in trying the tour next time.

Was excited for this spot but was pretty disappointed. Definitely caters to American tastebuds - the soy sauce was so salty. Lots of rice in the nigiris and thin slices of fish compared to other AYCE spots we've gone to. Also, very slow service during a full house on a Thursday night, they need an extra server or two. I did appreciate that they offered dessert, which many sushi ayce spots we've been to do not have...but not sure why the mochi ice cream needed whipped cream on top?
