We live in Jefferson/Norwood Park, and until today, my wife and I couldn't find a good taco joint if our lives depended on it! But then we decided to give this place a whirl. I tentatively ordered one taco and some posole. I should have ordered more! That taco was terrific, the carne asasa was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The tortilla, onion, and cilantro tasted super-fresh. And my wife absolutely loved her posole!It's great knowing that our quest to find a great taco place has finally come to an end. I can't wait for next time to try out other things on their menu!

Came here for the first time because I. was craving a sope, so I ordered 2 sopes de rajas and an horchata and it was all super good. I enjoyed the masa and they don't skimp u on your filling choice. The prices are affordable and the service was fast. Would definitely come back, this place hit the spot on what I was looking for.

Best pozole I've ever had. The hominy was authentically cleaned and cooked. Excellent flavor! The service was impecable and the prices were descent. Can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

Outside of family...some of the best restaurant pozole that I've had. I'm a pozole snob...but they didn't fail to deliver. I order delivery and it came with all of the accoutrements!! Will def order again!!

We ordered delivery to give it a try- We enjoyed most of the flavors and portions for the price, but unfortunately, the meat (chicken, pork, and steak) were all over cooked and dry. This was consistent in the burrito, sopes, Gordita, and pozole. The burrito was the most disappointing- the meat was chopped up in tiny pellets like dog food and hard like jerky. We couldn't finish anything. Such a shame because we had high hopes.

Have had this place a few times for their pozole verde and the breakfast, and they always are one point with authentic, fresh and delicious flavors. The picaditas remind me of Veracruz, so simple but amazing. Staff is attentive and friendly too.

3 Taco Dinner: this is the main reason for the low rating. The meat was not seasoned at all. When I say not seasoned, I mean zero seasoning - to include salt. The meat was tough, and the tortillas were drenched in fat. The rice and beans did have salt, so thanks for that. Pozole Rojo: this was meh. Not too bad, but definitely not something to order again. It was missing something, I'm not sure what.

the chilaquiles have a really good flavor, perfect balance of creamy, cheesy, and oniony. the salsa is not spicy, but makes up for it with a nice hearty flavor. there is virtually no crunch to the chilaquiles, which tells me they might have been in the pan with the salsa for a tad too long, but if you like a softer chilaquil than it would be perfect. the sides were alright, just your average rice and beans. horchata was good as well, sweet and refreshing to break up the hearty flavor from the chilaquiles. service was attentive but not overbearing which i appreciated for being a morning customer.
