Necessary and Sufficient Coffee is an aesthetic, friendly, and peaceful coffee shop situated on Printer's Row in the loop. I've enjoyed visiting for about two years, and I can proudly say I have completed many a project and submitted many an assignment in this coffee shop.Now, yes, it can be expensive. And yes, the espresso is overextracted and burnt. But 3$ pots of decent (Rishi loose leaf) tea? Count me in! Delicious beacon doughnuts and steingold's bagels? As I said, *delicious*!If you know what to order at Necessary & Sufficient, you, your tummy, and your wallet can have a great time.

Though the coffee was good and had nice latte art, ultimately it's not worth it. The base price on everything is already quite high but then they tack on a mandatory 15% gratuity without mentioning it to you. They have the audacity to have a tipping section after too.Dollop is down the street and both the coffee and prices are better.

I'm going to be a regular here. The space is really light and airy, but also warm and inviting - it's easy to spend hours working here. My favorites are the Springtime Crunch salad which has this amazing honey lime vinaigrette-YUM! And, the donuts, they're the best donuts I've ever had in my life and they're VEGAN!You can order items from the baristas, but Debbie, the chef, puts together a great selection of to-go items as well, which appears to be changing seasonly. Also, did you know it's woman owned? Highly recommend this place.

This is a great addition to the south loop. The space has been curated with care. There is a lovely mural on the wall, and the ambience is light and inviting. I am a sucker for a good latte and theirs is the perfect combo of frothy and strong. Also beautiful latte art never hurt anybody!

Great coffee shop in Printers Row. The coffee itself is really good and they have some great bites. The real winner here is the focus on local goods. When I was there, a pop-up with local candles and home-goods was present and I'm guessing they rotate. Another cool thing was events they hold like game-nights or reading nights.

My favorite baker Tropicake is in this space and my British boss loves the pavlova from here . The best ingredients and lots of love goes into every dessert. The cappuccino and teas are great too

I always pass by this place and thought I'd give it a try. I got the medium iced Ube latte with oatmilk, and they added a mandatory 15% gratuity which I wasn't aware of. The drink came to almost $10, and it's definitely not worth the price tag. The espresso/ coffee itself tasted sour, and you can't taste the ube at all. All I can taste from this drink is a hint of coconut flavor and sour taste from the coffee itself. I'm not sure maybe it's just this drink didn't taste as good, but probably won't be trying it again.

I love that we have a nice, new coffee shop in our neighborhood. The coffee and baked goods are excellent. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I'm not going to deny, Iggy is my favorite! She is always cheerful, engaging and interested in the people she cares for, including me. I'm glad all y'all are here - and I hope you're successful for a long time.
