Lockal Bar & Pizzeria

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while, ever since I read a review praising their pizza featuring Balkan meats. Today was the day!Friends, this is stellar pizza. I got the one with smoked beef and smoked sausage, which also has mushrooms and green peppers. The veggies are not overcooked, so they retain a nice bit of crunch. The meats are, well, meaty and yummy. But the real star for me? And I'm shocked that I'm even typing this....the sauce.Pizza sauce is my least favorite component of pizza. It can and often does overwhelm the rest of the pizza. Too much, too acidic, too sweet...But dang, this sauce is just right. All of the components support each other with TLC, and sing in such harmony. I can see this place becoming my go-to local delivery spot, and I'm excited to try more of their offerings!

I don't want atmosphere I want a dive bar. Let me 100% clear this place is spotless and that's why I eat there because it just a no nonsense burger and beer joint. The hot honey pizza with pepperoni is clutch.Sandwiches are good . "Munchezzz" or whatever are adequate but I would like cheddar poppers personallyAnother added value this place serves up chiavpia Balkan sausage and then have sleebovitz plum moonshine

Picked up a sausage pizza and some buffalo wings tonight for carry out, delicious! That perfect thin crust with a crunch. My boyfriend ran in and said the staff was very nice and the place had a laidback bar atmosphere. We'll dine in next time!

The pizza has a really nice flavor to it. This is what the hot honey looks like. It's very good, I got it with pepperoni. I also tried just cheese. Perfectly good tavern pizza worth trying for sure. The bar itself is very small and informal with a pool table, very chill

Outstanding pizza, great crust and ingredients. Had the meat lovers and it was heaven. Definately ordering from here again.

Came yesterday with my boyfriend. We kept it simple and had their pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. Both were very good. Our server was very nice, she gave us a slice of cheesecake as an apology for the pizza being late, even though it only felt a little longer than a typical wait for pizza. The cheesecake was good as well! Will definitely come back and try other items.

My friends and I like to taste different foods. Sometimes we just eat pizza. We ordered from Lockal Bar & Pizzeria and it turned out to be very tasty. Their pizza exceeded our expectations and will order again in the future.

They don't speak English they have no respect for other. They charge extra for everything including hot sauce while dining . the bartender very judgmental only one girl plus racist comment including.

This is the worst pizza I've ever paid $35 for. Delivery was prompt but it arrived cold. The crust is no better tasting than cheap frozen brands. Toppings were light. If you order fresh basil, it will be wilted and blackened like they put it on before cooking. Don't waste your money.

this pizzeria is so surprisingly y awesome it's a neighborhood bar and restaurant where evidently so many friends gather and I can see why , the food is amazing and the service is as good as a upscale restaurant , the waitress was so friendly and the delivery of the pizza was pit on a pizza wire l lift not just on the table ,that seems to be a very cool Chicago thing , the waitress was so helpful and attentive and a customer sent a coke to me , lol that was nice too , I love Chicago people they are so nice and awesome , the restaurant was very clean with a 1950s or 1960s five had the pool table the right the waitress very sweet and very very nice. The food was amazing. Will get back to the pizza now. They had a big variety of choices on the menu, and their pieces were unique this one I was all skeptical about Trying, which turned out amazing it had honey red peppers and pepperoni and jalapeño and it was a really good pizza. I was so impressed. Thank you so much. to the waitress and the restaurant for a great experience in dining, it was very cool to see how the customers came in knowing each other and hugs and handshakes with each other it was like a movie neighb bat and restaurant
