3.5! LaShuk is definitely a casual workday lunch place in the middle of a food hall. I was looking forward to try it because of the raving reviews on the chicken, but i felt like the chicken didn't give what it was supposed to give. Nothing about the chicken was really 'Zatar', and felt like the chicken was super dry and even burnt? However all the carbs around it like the pita and rice stood out to me. The pita was very stretchy and soft like mochi and it was the best pita I've ever had in my life. I also appreciated how the rice was slightly sweet. I also ordered a side of falafels that were okay when hot but somehow even better when cold? Overall not a bad place but it was okay. If the chicken had been better I would've given it a better rating

This place rules, by far my favorite spot in Revival food hall.Great hummus and pita, and the shawarma is shaved perfectly thin. Little pricey but decent portions. The lady taking orders, despite me being a regular customer, treats me like I spit in her face to start every interaction. Not sure what her issue is. Only complaint.

I ate here for lunch during the week. It's in a hall with about a dozen restaurants. It gets busy around noon. I had the chicken Schwarma platter. The rice has a slightly sweet like clover flavor. The chicken was just okay to me. The cucumber tomato salad was fresh. It came with hummus, pita and a side of creamy garlic sauce. The hummus was thinner than I'm used but it tasted good.

Absolutely delicious hummus and chicken. The rice could be better but I truly enjoyed my food, I wasn't expecting a stand to be this good. There's a bit of a wait during lunch time and it's a bit pricey bc of its location but it was well worth it. I enjoyed my food and there's always tables available to eat in the food hall should you wish to. Def recommend!

Great place to get Middle Eastern food in the Revival Food Hall. It's only open on weekdays, which is the only bad thing about it. LaShuk is another of those places where there's long ass lines. For sure it's worth waiting awhile. There's meaty options like shawarma as well as vegetarian choices such as falafel. Came in the last time and it was busy. It took a long time it seemed to get to the counter. This was a sign this place is good though. After eating, I can say it was a good idea to wait around. The food may be kind of expensive, but you get a lot. I got the Falafel Platter, which was a pretty impressive amount. It's about $14, but you get tons of food though. Falafel was crispy without being burnt. There was also hummus, pitas, and tahini. For sure one of the best options in Revival Food Hall. It can get pretty busy sometimes. There's good choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

Got delivery. Definitely get a hummus bowl and falafel, likely not another rice platter.Falafel hummus bowl - 5/5. Perfect everything. Crispy complex falafel. Creamy hummus. Simple but effective combination I could lap up.Za'atar Chicken Rice Platter - 3.5/5. Decent but not special. Fine rice. Chicken didn't pop as much as I hoped. Hummus was the best part.

The good reviews aren't wrong. This place is a delight. We ordered falafel, eggplant, hummus, etc. everything was flavorful and delicious. The falafels are on the small side, so double your order if you're hungry. My vegan people: there is no dairy on their menu!

I recently visited Revival Food Hall downtown on Clark Street and from all the vendors I picked LaShuk for my lunch option and ordered the steak hummus bowl with homemade fresh and smooth chickpea blend. It was topped with warm chickpeas, tahini, and baba, zhug (hot sauce) and served with pita. The ordering process was seamless and I was able to customize my bowl and add a drink to my order. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The hummus was very smooth and pita was warm and fluffy. I left very happy and satisfied with my hummus bowl.

The very best falafel in Chicago. It is crispy on the outside and so light but substantial on the inside. Perfect spot to grab lunch and eat in the food hall or to take out.
