My friend usual spot for lunch. Recommended since it's near his house. We were greeted right away and seated. The server brought us water and the menu. She was pretty helpful when I told her we might have too much food ordered but I still wanted to try some pad thai. She said order the kid's plate, just smaller portion. Food was good, I have a saltier pallette so I added fish sauce or soy sauce onto my entree. Restaurant is good size with maybe 10 tables. Huge parking lot out front. They're located in the shopping Plaza.

This is one special place here! Some of the best Lao & Thai food in Illinois maybe even the whole Midwest! My girlfriend brought me here a few weeks ago and as soon as I took the first bite I was hooked! Everything is delicious and freshly prepared. My favorite so far is the Kau Mee & those super crispy Chicken Wings. I can't wait to come back!

One of our favorite takeout places. The Pho and Pad Thai are better than all similar places in downtowns. Can't ask for more in a restaurant - great food. We've primarily taken out but there is indoor seating and it's a fairly pleasant indoor environment.

Came here for a weekend lunch, and as we were eating in, we could grab a menu from the front and sit anywhere. It wasn't too busy yet when we first got to the restaurant, but then got more full by 1-1:30pm. The restaurant has several booth tables and tables in the center. We were so happy to find a restaurant with Lao food as it's not as common to find. We got appetizers of egg rolls, crab rangoon, Lao jerky which came with a small side of sticky rice, and entrees of pad see ew with tofu and Nam Khao Specialty. My partner enjoyed all the Lao food, and my favorite was actually the egg roll. The pad see ew was good but not as saucy as I prefer. The staff were nice and food came out very quickly.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for some time. We are sure glad we did! As we are rather limited in the Thai and Laoation cuisines, we really appreciated the patient guidance of our server. With his help, we ordered the crab rangoon as an appetizer, red curry with chicken, drunken noodles with beef, and their laoation sausages. Way too much food for two people but we wanted to try a few things.All the dishes were absolutely delicious! Huge portions and just the right amount of spiciness.Best crab rangoon I've ever had. The curry was so rich and flavorful. The sausages were extremely tender and done perfectly. Lastly the drunken noodles with beef blew me away. Such fresh vibrant flavors! I can't wait till we go there again and try more. This is a must go to.

Restaurant owned by Lao and they made incredible and authentic Thai and Lao food. The Elgin area has a decent population of Lao people. They do have a lot of noodles, but also a lot of other dishes, such as beef jerky, fried chicken wings with sticky rice, and green papaya salad. Don't just order fried rice and noodles, be adventurous and try some of the other dishes.
