La Storia Ristorante

Awesome!! We were looking for a dessert and glass of wine. We stopped to look at the menu when Mike greeted us at the entrance and encouraged us to come in and give it a try. SOO glad we did! Danny at the bar was wonderful. Very friendly with a quick wit. We had the tiramisu and olive oil cake and both were fantastic. Mike gave us a tour of the restaurant and it is stunning. An original Chicago building with all the character and charm intact. We will definitely be back for dinner soon!

Highly recommend. It's a quaint cute restaurant tucked in on Elm street. We got the burrata, black squid pasta and the branzino. Service was great with Ivo and Mike K. holding it down. Frankly, hard to find small cute restaurants like these since we moved from NYC to Chicago and glad we found another spot to put to the roster.Btw blue kitchen we also had last weekend and they're owned by the same group and fantastic!Go Mike k!

Really great experience tonight at La Storia! We enjoyed the arancini and meatballs as an appetizer. The red snapper was delicious as a main, and many in my party also enjoyed the lasagna. We were seated out on the back terrace on what ended up being quite a rainy evening. The wait staff was highly accommodating despite being very busy. I recommend you check out this restaurant :)

food was perfect .Have only eaten on patio and loved it. Ambience is totally Italian whether inside or out. In the several times i have eaten at LaStoria we have had 1 exceptional service experience 1 very mediocre experience and 1 experience that was just insanely frustrating . That said, I will continue to dine at LaStoria . Took visiting family to LaStoria end of last summer and we very much enjoyed everything

I had an amazing dinner at La Storia. We sat outside and the patio was beautiful and perfect for people watching. The manager Mike told us all about the menu and the local favorites, which was perfect for someone who can be indecisive like me. Our server Bella took great care of us the whole time. We started with the meatballs which were delicious. I ordered the filet mignon and it was beautifully cooked with a delicious sauce. The building where the restaurant is has some neat history, a room inside from survived the great Chicago fire and has been left in the same condition it was in 1860. Super neat. Overall it was a great dining experience from the food, the service, and the history!! I will definitely be coming back.

We spent our anniversary dinner here and had the best time here. It brought us right back to Italy. The best food, wine & desserts!! The best staff. They made us feel welcomed and it felt like home. The atmosphere is quaint and the back patio was amazing!!!

THE BEST gnocchi in town. It was pillowy, creamy, and cheesy in all the best ways. Hands down the most delicious gnocchi I have ever had. The steak was great and cooked to perfection. The glaze and potatoes that came with it were amazing as well. AMAZING SERVICE. We came in on a slow Monday night and had very attentive service. Our waiter, Ivo, was very kind and efficient. The floor manager, Mike, was also beyond amazing. Super helpful and lovely to chat with. He talked to us about the restaurant history and even gave us a small tour of the place. Overall the service was excellent and could not have had a better dinner.

The decor is stylish and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.The food was absolutely amazing--every dish was a delight to the senses. You can tell that a lot of thought and care goes into each plate. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was beautiful.Service was impeccable! Michael K. and the entire staff were incredibly attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening.We will definitely be back again soon. Lastoria has quickly become a new favorite! 4 girlfriends celebrating life with a night out. We chose LaStoria and it was great. Outdoor seating in the front and a back patio. The back patio is delightful, quiet, covered and has a beautiful old tree with lights. Beautiful tile. We had the Burrata for an appetizer, which was very good.For pasta we chose orecchiette pugliese and malloredelus Al cinghiale (wild boar). Both delicious with amazing flavor. Nice focaccia to mop up the extra sauce. For final entree we ordered the spalladimaiale and it was outstanding. Pork shoulder cooked for over 8 hours with wonderful mashed potatoes. Mike K, Danny and Ivo took good care of us. Great night out!
