My first Chicago hotdog and this gem is my son's favorite local spot! Delicious! Awesome fries too. The owners were so friendly. Quick service and we loved the casual counter to eat at.

I've lived in Logan Square since 2015 and I'm so mad at myself that it's taken me THIS LONG to go eat at Jack's. I can't speak to the previous owners, but Bill and his team are doing a phenomenal job with the food and the service. They make everyone feel welcome and seen. The food is above average, with large portions and served hot and fast. I inhaled my Chicago dog and cheese fries so quickly, that I will need to immediately go get more lol. Do not sleep on this place. It's simply *chef's kiss*

I recently moved into the area. I think this is a great mom and pop place. I think the food is good, especially the Philly cheese steak, there is a variety of foods from hot dogs , hamburgers, sandwiches to fried rice, and fried cheese etc. The prices are good. The owners are really nice, it's somewhere I will be utilizing a lot. I posted a photo of their menu, and there is also a daily specials board. Support local businesses

This place is always clean and courteous to normal people. Be careful with the fries. They are a little sharp and can hurt your mouth. Great dogs, burgers, and pizza puffs. If you're some grungy ass Logan square hipster with ankle tattoos they might be rude to you here. But you deserve it.

Bare bones Vienna Beef type joint. Food just kind of passable. Chance of encountering unpleasant patrons = high. Their sign actually says "Jack's Hot Dog" instead of "D&C". Considering the dearth of food options in the surrounding area, this can be good in a pinch.

This places rules. Solid food, solid prices & the folks workin here kick ass. Really friendly neighborhood vibes and food at a fair price. Jacks is a staple.

Very affordable! I've been going lately for a Chicago dog and fries and it costs me less than 4 dollars. It's also more than hotdogs and burgers, they have Filipino style empanadas and bao as well. Definitely give it a try and support local business! The owner is always there chatting with customers and the service is quick and very friendly!
