My colleague and I were at a meeting at one of the hospitals. In the neighborhood and we stopped here for a quick bite, first time trying Ecuadorian cuisine ... we got some free appetizers which were good the fried plantain and corn . Main course was the fish and chicken , we had to send the fish back Bcos it was uncooked and i wasn't impressed with the chicken . We really enjoyed the tropical fruit juice shakes ....very different .I will however not be going back !!

Excellent Ecuadorian food. Feels like I am back in quito. I drive from Iowa city (3.5 hours) and this is the first place I stop at when visiting Chicago. Happy tummy - happy soul.

We were given a pork sample when we came in which was delicious. Ceviche fish was also excellent. A nice little place for a quick bite.

I had chicken and rice and one of the tropical drinks. Ok, it was noisy with the loud music and tvs playing. Maybe ok for a quick lunch but not a quiet dinner.

Fritada is delicious! I had to eat my plate in the car because the smell of the food was sooo good. This is my go to place for food after work. 100% would recommend and they are always so kind. Ma and Pa Location. They used to have a different location that my family would go to but they closed and moved. We didn't find the new address until last year and I'm never losing this spot again.

Great mom and pop Ecuadorian restaurant. Raspberry juice was refreshing and delicious. Food had that homemade quality with obvious love and care apparent in its taste. Prices are very reasonable. Just don't go expecting a fancy sit down place. While the interior is quaint, it is rather small, although that doesn't take away from the dining experience. It's the type of place that makes you appreciate that there are restaurants other than franchises/fast food. It also makes me feel good that I am supporting my neighborhood small business, especially a mom and pop ethnic restaurant.Highly recommended!
