"Love their diversity of flavored cream cheeses to pack and go for home morning smears! Specifically-fresh veggie cream cheese which is whipped cream cheese with a medley of fresh vegetables. The service is patient, kind and professional as this is a small location. There are two registers-one at each end of the counters. They have a small seating area-with wide French Style Windows that allow for an "Al fresco" atmosphere.Less than a block from The Armitage Brown Line Station!!!!!"
"Reno is walkable from Logan Square Auditorium and offers indoor and outdoor seating with a wide selection of thin crust pizzas and pastas and many other things. After a show at the auditorium we walked over and were able to snag a nice outdoor table for an early dinner. For the 4 of us, 2 pies were the perfect amount and we finished everything. For our red sauce pizza, we selected the Combo (fennel sausage, cremini mushroom, smoked onion, mozzarella, red sauce) and for the white sauce pizza we got the Philomena (robiola cheese, mozzarella, arugula, truffle oil). I think we selected the best two that complemented each other. The combo was heavier and meatier while the Philomena was earthy and fresh at the same time. Service was super fast and friendly and it was overall a delightful experience."
"Fantastic spot for breakfast. Close by to our air bnb...quick easy drive via Uber. We ordered the following:The Bageler- one of their signature breakfast sandwiches which consist of egg, cheese & bacon. The Gardener- yum! Their main vegan offering. I'm not vegan but I really enjoyed this! So light and refreshing. Consisted of hummus, roasted red peppers, cucumbers and red onions. We got both our sandwiches on an everything bagel. Perfect portion for breakfast! Thank you Yelp for helping me discover this little hidden gem. Besides bagels, they serve muffins and an extensive list of coffee concoctions. Quiet little spot for those who want to get some work done also."
"I love Corey's!They open at 6am each morning 7 days a week. Which makes it a perfect spot to start your day.Since it is Sunday I walked down there shortly after they opened and purchased my favorite Vegetable Cream Cheese to bring home to make breakfast with. It is beyond delicious and creamy and full of vegetables whipped in!Thank you Corey's also for your professional staff who are polite, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, efficient and work well as a team. The lines always move quickly! There are a few places inside to sit and eat. The establishment is always clean and organized in a way that patrons can self service."
"I love a good Nova Lox bagel and Corey's hit the spot! I was running errands around the neighborhood and decided to grab food here while passing by. I appreciated their parking spaces out front.Corey's shares a section of a lot with Olive Mediterranean Grill and Wild Fork. It was convenient to stop in-and-out with a car. Starbucks is also on the same lot so it was can pretty crowded being right off North Ave, but I was able to pull in and was out in 10 minutes.I ordered the Nova Lox Bagel Sandwich on a Garlic Bagel and Chive Cream Cheese. This sandwiches was about $15 at the time of writing and came with a delicious pickle and choice of side. I chose the pasta salad, but you also have the options of chips among others.I chose all the fixings so it had cucumbers, tomatoes, capers, and red onion. It was a hearty sandwich, one I had to smoosh a little bit and approach from the side with my first bite because everything stacked up so tall.I also picked up a small tub of lox cream cheese to take home, because I already had everything bagels at home, and could not wait to try their lox cream cheese. I saw that they also had jumbo black and white cookies at their to-go counter, which I'm sure a local New Yorker or anyone who's spent time there would appreciate!Overall, I enjoyed my sandwich. Corey's was the perfect place for a pit stop to grab lunch on the go!"
"Well I'll start off by saying the bagel was delicious. Happy with that. But for 2 bagels and a black coffee, $25 seems a little steep for me. Not crazy, but a little expensive. Only issue with the bagel, called classic egg, however it was scrambled and mixed with milk. My wife was not able to eat hers because of the lactose. I would expect a fried egg, disappointed in that."

I'm a sucker for bagels and this place hit the spot! This is a small bagel spot with lots of varieties. You can get something as simple as a bagel with cream cheese or you can go all out and get a sandwich of your choice. They also regular coffee. I tried the Wrigley Fielder which comes with cream cheese and a ton of veggies! This is an all veggie option however there are also sandwiches for meat eaters - breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I also got an iced coffee - nothing fancy here, simple and gets the caffeine job done. This was reallllllllll good. I'm picky with bagels and loooove me a specialty bagel spot! The service was quick especially considering how crazy packed this was on an early Sunday afternoon. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating so keep that in mind. There is also 1 bathroom so I recommend utilizing one before heading here lol. Tip - Lincoln park has free parking on Sundays, it does get busy after 10am so if possible try to come before the rush.

This is my favorite pizza in all of Chicago. I have been to 35 pizza restaurants and Reno is legitimately the best. Call me crazy but Reno's crust and their toppings are top tier.

Wow- I had this sandwich a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it!The spot is small- keep in mind if you're trying to sit in on a weekend- buy super worth a stop even knowing it will be BUSY. Bagels have a delish chew and sammy sizes are super filling.

Corey's NYC Bagel Deli screams New York City. It reminded me of a more modern version of my favorite NYC bagel shop. Corey's is a quick walk from Merchandise Mall. The inside is spacious but they only have a few seats if you actually want to dine in. The inside is setup to easily accommodate to-go orders. Corey's has a large menu but it's spilt nicely between bagel sandwiches and common popular sandwiches. The first thing I noticed about Corey's is that they serve Boars Head. That is an instant win for sandwich lovers! During my visit I opted for the Rueben sandwich. The sandwich had a nice about of corned beef for the price. I was able to get two meals out of the sandwich. They also didn't over do it with the sauerkraut or dressing. I was also able to try my husband's bagel sandwich (egg whites, sausage and cheese). It was tasty so I do plan to visit again to get my own breakfast sandwich. Another treat that the restaurant offers is a livestream of what looks like Time Square or another NYC landmark on the television while you wait.

I've eaten here numerous times and have tried various things on the menu. The food has always been good, and so has the consistency.

Popped in for a quick breakfast bacon, egg & cheese bagel sandwich. At $12 each we had pretty high expectations. At first bite I could tell something was off with the eggs- the consistency & texture were off. I suspect they were powdered. I had a plain bagel which was just ok but my husband didn't like the poppy. The problem with saying 'NY bagel' is that we're going to expect the chewy soft deliciousness of a NY bagel & this wasn't it. I will say, the bacon was delicious & cooked perfectly. We also had a very enjoyable sugar cookie with sprinkles.

There are a number of independent coffee shops In Lincoln Squire. This is a good one, but not a great one.First the negatives. One, their coffee is so just so. When my wife and I recently came here, and she ordered a small latte and I ordered a cold brew My cold brew was good and had a strong caffeine content. However, its hard to mess up cold brew. I tried my wife's latte, but it wasn't good. It was a bit tasteless. Two, the the food we tried was good, but with room for improvement. My wife got a donut that was from Do-rite Donuts. Kudos to them for stocking a good local donut brand, but obviously you can't give them credit on how good the donut was. I got one their house made croissants, the Jalapeño cream cheese croissant. The croissant itself was good, but I wish it had more jalapeño flavor and was spicer. Third, they expensive. For one (very) small latte, a cold brew, a donut and croissant the total was just under $20.00. Now the positives. One, I enjoyed my cold brew and it had a lot of caffeine. Iced coffee and cold brew are my favorite morning drinks, and they make a good one. Two. I like their environmental commitment. My cold crew was served in a reusable aluminum cup, and if you bring the cup back (or your own cup) they will offer you $.50 off your drink. Also the straw was biodegradable, reusable and sturdy. Three, I love the atmosphere. It's on a corner of a prototypical Lincoln Square tree lined street. Also, along the sidewalk outside the coffee shop there were many wooden benches, some even built around some lovely trees. I enjoyed sitting on them eating my croissant and drinking my cold brew.In sum, this a good coffee shop, not a great one. I wouldn't make this your first or only destination for coffee, but just one of them.

Great bagels. I particularly like the spicy Atomic Hot Doug Sausage with eggs and pepper jack. Quick friendly service at the pickup window. Not sure why they still don't want guests inside the store...

"I love these guys. I don't agree with every single aspect of their sometimes goofy politics, but I absolutely love their commitment to their beliefs, and the fact that they'll put them ahead of profits. That's righteous and worthy of respect. Also, they have the absolute best whole bean selection of any coffee shoppe in the Midwest (yes, I've checked). No one else comes close to the sheer variety of quality beans they have on hand at any given time. I also love how their idiosyncratic ways (no gluten free bagels --quelle horreur!!) make certain denizens of this bougie hood clutch their pearls/check their Fitbits."
"Place was recently debuted on a "best breakfast sandwich" list & nothing could be further from the truth. Aside from the spicy aspect of the sausage & the seasonings from the everything bagel this is tasteless. The egg & cheese have zero flavor. As much as food cost these days I don't have time for this. Not to mention my sandwich was at best room temperature & I love my freshly ordered food to be piping hot. To their credit it could be that I simply ordered the wrong combination but had this been void of sausage & a flavored bagel it wouldn't be worth of a paper weight."
"They have good bagels. But what I can't live with out is the jalapeño cream cheese. I've only been here once, but it's life changing and I can't stop thinking about it! Their chive cream cheese is pretty good too, but it's nothing compared to the jalapeño. I wasn't sure if I would like it so I bought a small (enough for one bagel) serving, but I wish I'd gotten the larger size of the jalapeño instead of the chive.I only wish they were closer. I went their early (7:45 am) and they were out of some of the bagels already (I'd really wanted to try the wheat). That was a surprise.... Anyway, whilst they're not terribly far away relatively speaking, driving the ~3 miles down there feels like forever because it's along Clark the whole way. I may stop again when I'm on my way to work since the parking was beautiful then too. I think my favorite were the onion bagel (not sure I've ever had one of those, honestly) and the cinnamon raisin. The guy who helped me was pleasant; not boisterously or annoyingly chipper for the morning but not rude either. I ordered a bagel sandwich and was glad to watch him crack the eggs right then and there. The sandwich was ok; the cheese wasn't the best but American is a terrible cheese; I totally glossed over that or I would probably have skipped cheese on it. But it wasn't terribly expensive and I can't say I wouldn't get one in the future."
"Fabulous bagels- so warm and flavorful! And so many choices! The posh, top-shelf cheese and onion one is out of this world! The cost was higher than I expected, as my meal came to nearly $20 with sandwich, soda, chips, and tip. So I think this will be a special treat outing, but was sooooo good!! Friendly staff. Clean space. It was fun to watch the baker in action, too!"
"Damn, if I ever plan on opening a restaurant, I for sure will not be opening up a bagel shop. After reading the most recent reviews it seems like it's hard to please these bagel shopping customers. If customers are treating places like "it's just a bagel shop" or "just pizza" they're you're never going to be satisfied. If people are commenting that it used to be their favorite bagel shop, then where the heck is the review that showed that? I really don't understand the one review people, trying to harm these local business. This place is the real deal. After trying bagels in New York, I knew that anything I tried anywhere in the world, would have to be compared to the bagels I've had in the Big Apple. I will admit there's not much in the city of Chicago that is remotely close to the bagels served in New York. Are offerings aren't that great. That is until i decided to check out Steingolds. I ordered their "Steingolds Classic Lox" with an Everything bagel. It came with lox and scallion cream cheese, capers, tomatoes and untoasted. These bagels were massive. They tasted fresh as did the lox. A very simple but flavorful sandwich executed to perfection. And also very filling. It also came with a pickle and a side. I chose their bagel chips which were also phenomenal. I'm glad I finally found my local bagel place. There is literally no other place in the city that offers bagels like Steingolds does. Not even my previous favorite place in the north burbs. Will absolutely be return very very soon."
"I was looking for a bagel spot in the city, and I stumbled upon this gem that was tucked away on a corner. I was happy to see that all of the bagels were made using sourdough. The consistency of the bagel was a little bit dry, but overall great quality and seasoned well. The cream cheese was fresh and you could see the veggies inside. The only criticism I have about this place would be the staff. They were not very friendly, and needs some workFood wise- the bagel was not dry and airy and had a great texture. The cream cheese was fresh and very reasonably priced as well. Come check them out!"
"This very unassuming place is so incredibly cute. There isn't that many places to get brunch by the Western CTA station, but it happened to be a midway point for a friend and me. Don't let the small number of reviews deter you from visiting! It's a super cute diner with the classic diner booths and cute wall decor. The service was great. It was one lady, but she made sure we were taken care of and she was super sweet. We got a hazelnut latte, sweet plantain waffles, Belgian waffles with fruit and the veggie arepa. Everything was amazing. I highly recommend the sweet plantain waffle with the fried egg like the other reviews here because it's unique and also delicious! Give this place a chance, it'll be worth it!"
"Friendly service in a cute shop with good food and coffee! Had a turmeric latte and a guava and cheese croissant."
