This place is amazing. Everything we ordered was perfect. The eggs Benedict, the burger, even the hash browns. Mike K didn't steer us wrong with pointing us to the key lime pie either. It's legitimately the best I've had.Wonderfully charming place with amazing food.

Came in during a weekday afternoon for lunch. It wasn't busy and I was able to get seated right away. The hostess was very sweet and gave a warm welcome in. However, the remainder of my service was kind of the opposite. My waiter wasn't rude, but he seemed like he didn't care. He just took our order and gave us the check. Another waiter would come by more frequently to fill up our water and take away our plates . This lackluster service wasn't a huge deal to me until I saw a man, who seemed to be the manager, approach the table adjacent to me and ask them how their meal / service was going. He then proceeded to kindly ask if any of them were Yelp reviewers and advised them that writing a review would be appreciated. One gentlemen at the table stated that he was a Yelp reviewer and would post something (not sure if he did). Shortly after the man, who I believed to be the manager, came by with glasses of wine for their table... I just think that's interesting. I didn't see any other table get this treatment, so just curious as to why these people in particular were singled out. As for the food, I originally came in to try the Brussel and Kale salad that people were raving about on tiktok. I ended up ordering the Lincoln Park combo with the Brussel Kale Salad, a half grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. While I will say the salad was delicious, the grilled cheese and tomato soup wasn't anything amazing. Would I go back? Meh, maybe to order takeout. For others who would still like to try out this restaurant, street parking can be a pain if it's busy so be advised. Additionally, the restaurant does take reservations and I believe they are on OpenTable so plan your visit in advance.

What a beautiful place! Service was amazing. We were welcomed by Mike K who gave us a great introduction of the restaurant along with the specials. Vesna was our wonderful server for the night who was kind and very helpful.I ordered the Shrimp Poblano Spaghetti, which had the perfect amount of creaminess and shrimp was fresh and delicious. Vibes were also amazing, with beautiful decor and lovely ambiance. Would highly recommend for a night out with the girls, a date, or even a wedding reception in the upstairs private dining area (there was a wedding reception going on upstairs when I visited!).

A cute interior, my friends and I came here for brunch. We were seated immediately but even though it wasn't super busy, it took a long time for our food to come out. I got the cobb salad with no bleu cheese which wasn't bad. My group got the grilled cheese/tomato soup (my friend really like it), the sesame chicken salad, and the burger with sweet potato fries.Overall a little slow and the chicken seemed like it could've been less dry/higher quality but a good aesthetic restaurant that's relatively healthy and that you can grab last minute reservations at.

Blue Door Farm Stand is a cute rustic Midwestern restaurant right off Halsted and Armitage. They have a very farm to table vibe that makes it perfect for a spring to summer meal. I ordered the brown line wrap and was very pleased with the way everything worked together and the peppers added life to it. A bit of veggies always is good for you.

Apparently we don't walk past Summer House often enough! What an adorable restaurant. Two levels, ample menu and gorgeous summer cocktail list. We started out with the crab cake appetizer. Crab cakes are a little tiny - especially to share, but they were crazy delicious. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken and I had the salmon. Stuffed chicken was delicious - heart portion. Salmon was good; even flavored and well cooked. But I gotta say, the standout of the evening was the carrot cake. I mean, for the love of god, it's served with a steak knife. A STEAK KNIFE.There wasn't a ton of personality with the service, but it was for sure polite and efficient. Would not hesitate to return.

Came here for a brunch before heading to explore Chicago and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was impeccable and they made sure to check in on us throughout our meal. The sandwich and salad combination was a great choice but the menu had so many options it was hard to choose. Overall 10/10 and would definitely come here again! Not to mention the place has a great vibe!

We stopped here for an early lunch before heading to some museums for the day. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the host and staff, and seated at a window table. We ordered the salad/sandwich combos and a blueberry muffin, which were all delicious. The service was excellent and the ambiance in the space was so peaceful. We will definitely come back during the rest of our Chicago trip!

Drove in from the suburbs for a birthday and had a wonderful time! Food was excellent. I had the diner classic from the brunch menu and it was wonderful! The service was over the top and the owner (I believe he was the owner) stopped by to check in. This was my second time here and I will be coming back and checking out the other restaurants within this business.

What a special lunch! A group of us family were visiting Chicago and came by for our last meal. The staff went the extra mile to give us a great table and welcome us in with the cute ambiance. We accidentally spilled a drink and the staff were quick to come clean and even provided a replacement drink. Burger was delicious. Best hash browns we've had in some time. Chicken wrap and sesame chicken salad were fresh. Cheese curds were a must. Thank you Clay and Mike! You both are amazing.
