Arturo Express

Awesome quick service restaurant with salads, sandwiches, soups, and some hot foods. The prices are beyond reasonable! It's hard to get a salad anywhere in the Loop that varies from $10-15, but at Arturo Express it is easy to do. The portions are large and the food fills you up! The people are also very friendly. If you're a regular, they remember your name and who you are. It's not your typical Chicago Loop joint where you are just a number. Everyone that works there has been there for a while. There's plenty of seating and they are quick to get you your food. They also have a loyalty card you can get stamped for each meal. You buy 10 meals and get a free one. I love it. It's locally owned, friendly faces, delicious food, wonderful cost. This is a great place.

Casual little place good for lunch. It's just a basic deli with salads and sandwiches. Arturo has most of the classic favorites of an Italian deli. Prices are kind of high for things that are pretty basic to be honest. This is a good stop not far from Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center, so it's convenient for travelers. Basic looking place with a counter and a few tables inside. It wasn't busy when I stopped in before getting on a train. This was lunch time but no one else was inside besides the workers. It's open at breakfast and lunch. The lunch menu is pretty much salads and sandwiches. Greek Salad looked pretty good. It's about $12, which seemed like a lot. The salad was a pretty good size. It had the classic ingredients. The rest of the menu has stuff like hoagies, and Italian meats like salami. Good place to get okay Italian food. It's just too expensive for what you get. This place is only open at breakfast and lunch and it's closed on weekends.

Food is decent. I've tried the sandwiches, pizzas, and pastas, and they're good enough. Service is good as well. They are pretty speedy with getting orders and making the food. Ambiance is fine, as it's a typical deli and or fast casual type of setting. The reason for the low score is because they advertise daily specials, but they don't actually charge you that price. I've looked at the past few times I've been there, in which I know I ordered the daily special, and I never got the receipt. When I look at the charges on my credit card, they didn't charge the daily special price. WTF. If you've eaten here in the past and ordered the daily specials, I can almost guarantee that you were overcharged for it. Since they seem to be doing this on purpose, I don't recommend this place at all!

Love this place!! My sister and I were looking for somewhere to get a quick bite and I'm glad we ended up here. Everyone there was very welcoming and friendly.We got the croissant breakfast sandwich, a pesto chicken panini, and an old fashion brownie. Highly recommend the panini but everything was amazing! I'll definitely have to comeback soon.

A fantastic restaurant in downtown when you crave delicious inexpensive Italian food. They offer excellent homemade lasagnas including my favorite spinach version. How good are their lasagnas?? Their lasagnas sell out daily - that's how good they are!! Their Italian sandwiches are awesome - my favorites are the Italian Sub, Tuna Salad, and Turano. They offer daily specials including sandwich with chips and drink for $10 which is inexpensive for the downtown area. They have a large dining area if you want to dine-in. Please note they are open only for breakfast to lunch 6am to 3pm on Mondays to Fridays. They're closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Service is always friendly.

Ok. I simply ordered a jalepeno bagel breakfast sandwich combo. $8 with coffee and sandwich? Best value in area. Manager or owner checked up on me to ensure I was satisfied. I will return for lunch when I am in area. Great service. Smiles. Good food. Fantastic value.

I have had the chicken tortellini salad & it is exceptional! You will never go back to a franchise crap chain like Potbelly's for an overpriced/over processed salad once you have had a primo JUST MADE THIS SECOND FOR YOU salad from Arturo's. Fresh, crisp greens all cut up bite-sized, generous portions of chicken AND tortellini. Your choice of Newman's dressing to go, AND they give you a fresh baked dinner roll & butter. This place is a tightly run ship from AM to PM afternoon when it closes. Everyone that works in this place is at the top of their game. Next to Lou Mitchell's Arturo Express is the last of the restaurants around Union Station that not only gives you your money's worth in these rough times, it consistently delivers good food and consistent service to the last of us who are stuck working in the west Loop food desert. I f I could give this place 10 stars, I would! :)

Best little lunch spot. Super quick service, fresh food, and friendly people. Their chicken pesto panini is the best and they always have a great soup selection. Their punch card is great to have if you live locally and eat there often. Also love their potato salad! Prices are very reasonable too.

I ordered from wild berry because I heard of how good they were. I ordered carry out because they had such a long wait. They ended up forgetting my gluten free pancakes so I called back to see if I could pick them up and they were overly apologetic and made my pancakes right away and gave me a gift card for the mistake. I came in, not only to an amazingly friendly cashier, but the manager LeAnne greeted me with a smile and apologized profusely for their error. I have never felt so welcome in establishment I highly recommend this place for both the quality of food and the aspect of having hospitality that is absolutely phenomenal.

I really enjoy the food , service and Great Hospitality from the staff always, My favorite Meals are the Tony Special , Beef sandwich and Spaghetti and Meat balls are very filling!!!!!!! and the pastry section is wonderful. This location is a DIMOND in the rough in the HEART!!!!! of the west Loop between 2 of the busiest Train Lines and a stones throw away from the newly Remolded Post Office, This is why Arturo Express is a FANTASTIC!!!! Business to patronize Regularly.
