Take a look at the final creations.
The Escargots were made with Garlic, Butter & Parsley, Piment d'Espelette.
Chez Maggy's crab cake didn't have any bread crumbs in it - the shrimp mousse is what held the crab cake together.
The escargots were large and tender with a texture comparable to oysters (but chewier).
The Crème Brulee was perfection. It had a thick, glass-like glaze of caramelized sugar on top with a lovely creamy, vanilla custard under.
We sipped on champagne & cocktails while we decorated our very own Bûche de Noels.
The Crab Cake was made with Crab Meat, Shrimp Mousse & Tarragon Sauce. This is the best crab cake Maddie and I have ever had.
The Crème Brulee was made with Caramelized Vanilla Bean Custard.
The Roasted Organic Half Chicken was made with L'Ami Louis Potatoes, Duck Fat, Watercress & Brown Chicken Jus.
French Denver Omelette
Escargots ... first time and WOW so yummy
Chez Maggy provided numerous decorative treats for us to use on our cakes like sprinkles, peppermints, colored frostings and more.
The Bison Tartare was made with Cured Egg Yolk, Cornichon & Potato Chips.
The classic French, yuletide desserts were made from sponge-cake, rolled up and frosted to resemble decorative Yule logs.

The Sole Meuniére was made with Pomme Purée and Miso Brown Butter. Melted in our mouths.

The Vanilla Napoleon was made with Puff Pastry & Diplomat Crème. The Vanilla Napoleon was rich yet light in taste & texture.

This is a beautiful restaurant located inside the Thompson Denver hotel. As such, do note that they add a 20% charge on top of your check. 17% goes to the staff and 3% goes to the hotel. This is also stated on the menu.We had the pleasure of dining here for dinner and breakfast since we were staying at the hotel. I didn't expect the food to be as high caliber as it was. Everything we had for dinner and breakfast was well-executed and flavorful, and I was surprised by how generous the portions were. Service was friendly and attentive, and I loved the atmosphere here.Chez Maggy more than exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for amazing food in a gorgeous setting.

This was an amazing breakfast. Simple, elegant, satisfying...it was delicious. I had the Denver omelette, coffee and sourdough toast. The meal was beautiful and so tasty. The staff were attentive and helpful. Food came quickly and they were nearby for anything we might have needed. The space is also so beautiful. The wallpaper, fixtures and textiles are interesting and elegant. I caught myself thinking "I didn't know the those two things would go together, but they do and it's perfect." It felt like we were in a French bistro enjoying a meal. Loved this spot!

I've dined at a lot of hotel restaurants, but Chez Maggy is stellar. For lunch I ordered the Ahi Salad, but the standouts were the Onion Soup and French Fries. What made the soup so unique was using veal bone broth and pepper. It was incredible, including the massive layer of cheese. The French fries were cooked in clarified butter. Super tasty and crunchy. For breakfast, I had to order the Denver Omelette when in Denver. What stood out was the amazing creaminess of the eggs. A must-order. My wife had the French Toast which was thick brioche covered in cinnamon. Yum!Like the rest of the hotel, super friendly and engaging servers.I only wished we had done dinner here. Outstanding!

Got up nice and early wanted to try this place. The grilled cheese breakfast sandwich was a three out of five 3/5. The bread was nice, and soft could have used a little more cheese. TGe eggs looked amazing, but we're Bland. I had to add sauce from the chilaquiles to make it come alive. I will give it a 3 out of 5 .The Chilaquiles, however, were a 5 out of five 5/5 of some of the best I've ever tasted and definitely have a nice amount of heat to them. my wife did get a latte that she said was great I will come back and try the burger and a word to the wise for those who don't know they do charge a 20% gratuity minimum no matter the party's size

Escargot: The escargot was a bit disappointing as it lacked the classic garlic and butter flavor. The sauce tasted more like olive oil, which didn't quite hit the mark for me.Steak and French Fries: The steak was excellent--cooked to perfection. The French fries were a standout, fried in clarified butter, making them absolutely irresistible.Bolognese: The bolognese was great, full of rich flavors.Chicken: The chicken was amazing, definitely a highlight of the meal.Service: The service could have been better. While the staff was polite, they clearly need more training to enhance the overall dining experience.Desserts: * Chocolate Soufflé: The chocolate soufflé was good, offering a satisfying end to the meal. * Crème Brûlée: The crème brûlée was exceptional, not overly sweet but perfectly balanced and delicious.Ambience: The ambience was great, creating a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for dining.Overall, the meal had its ups and downs, but the highlights, particularly the steak and French fries, made it a memorable experience.

For our monthly dinner, my girl grabbed a reservation at Chez Maggy. It was delightful! The place was empty on a Sunday evening. We were one of three tables there. Not sure why because the food here is actually bomb. It's located in Thompson Hotel which looks pretty chic. The lobby is gorgeous which is where the bar is located. We started with the bison carpaccio, escargot, and some pomme frites. They were delicious. The bison carpaccio comes with this thick country toast that is buttery, crisp, and soft. It's the perfect vehicle for the bison. I ordered the Trout Almondine. I was so impressed! The trout was perfectly cooked. The almond mixture was crunchy and so tasty. The green beans were fresh and well cooked. An overall well-rounded dish. My friends were also impressed with their meals. They had the crispy chicken and Bolognese. Service was lovely and we ended with the chocolate souffle and creme brulee! Both were yummy!!If you're looking for a fancy French dinner with a romantic atmosphere, this is your spot!

We went for breakfast. The service and food were good but the price ... too much for what it is. Had the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich. It is not grilled cheese and we had to spend extra for sausage. It was $19 and it wasn't served with anything. Fries were $10 and the portion was medium fry at best. The garlic aioli I would drink so there is that. Also the fries had a best level of salt. The chilaquiles with hash browns again great flavor but you got one egg with one hash brown. Space is gorgeous and staff was kind and attentive.

Serving sizes are pretty tiny for the cost, and the actual burger resembles nothing like the one on their site!!!
