This place is clean and well decorated. Always different going into a Greek restaurant vs an American one. Staff noticed us right away, even though they were tending to a large table. We were still greeted and seated quickly. Orders were taken and brought out really quick! We couldn't understand some of the complaints by previous reviews, maybe just bad happenstance. The food is good, larger gyros than Gyroz restaurant serves. Not knocking them, just comparing. My only suggestion for them is to add feta and have the Tzatziki sauce already on the gyro if you're eating in. The Baklava was also good; although I think they use a sugar syrup instead of honey, but still delicious!Overall good experience and good food. We noticed their breakfast options and will probably be back sometime to try their breakfast too.

Went here for breakfast a few weeks ago when we were in the old neighborhood. It was our favorite place to have breakfast during the years we lived in Congress Park. They have updated the space and the menu. The prices have increased, but that is definitely expected and they are still really good for the food you receive. The changes to the restaurant are great and I love the walk-up window. The weather was good so we sat outside and were helped immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were dogs everywhere outside, which we loved. They even received a treat from the walk-up window, which was super cute. I ordered the green chili benedict and they were very accommodating when I asked to switch out the english muffin for a biscuit and scrambled eggs for poached. It was a very large serving and really great. My husband got the omelette with gyro, feta and tomatoes which came with toast and hash browns. The only issue I had was the lack of salt in the meal, especially the potatoes. Other than that we loved our meal and the experience.

Solid neighborhood diner with an emphasis on Greek food. We've been here a few times, getting both breakfast and dinner food and have always been pleased with it. Service is friendly and portions are generous.

The green chili soup was perfect. It had a good kick. The salmon and rice were alright, it was toward the end of their hours when our group of 6 came and they provided excellent and quick service which was appreciated

Like many others, we discovered Chef Zorba's for a convenient lunch given its proximity to the beautiful botanical gardens. It was clear this has been a popular neighborhood breakfast/lunch diner-ish place for a long time, but it was also apparent it was recently refreshed with a nice decor. I mean, I took a picture of the bathroom! As far as the food, it was filling and satisfying, but nothing particularly special. I'm a big fan of Greek salads, so I ordered their "famous" Athenian salad with gyro. The red wine vinaigrette didn't do a whole lot for me, and the gyro was a bit dry and oddly crumbly...like pieces that fell off or were leftover from slicing. Yet, the variety in the salad, including egg, grape leaves, and salty feta, olives, and pepperoncini was nice.

Definitely the best gyros in town.I've been coming here off and on for some time, and the experience is always spot on. Take out is quick and actually the same serving portion as dine in, which seems to be rare nowadays.Food is always solid, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Gyros all day baby.Staff is pleasant and attentive, they seem to be happy working here and it shows.Burger is fine, not the best, not the worst. Wouldn't come here for the burgers though.Get the gyro breakfast platter or the sandwich.Bonus: darn good and spot on avgolemono soup, hits the spot every time and I always get a bowl no matter the time of day. Man, I want some now.

This place has great food and a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner and a big menu. I ordered the falafel sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. It took a while for it to come out of the kitchen but it was fresh and very tasty. The service was great and the personnel was very friendly.

I so badly want the food to be better since it is a local business and within walking distance. I got the plate and gyro meat was definitely microwaved. It was under seasoned and a questionable consistency which made me wonder if it's literally from a trader joe's package. My tzatziki was watered down. I honestly thought to myself that Gyro's on Colfax is better quality than what they're trying to feed me here.
