Had this at a baby shower over the weekend and was so good had to come in. Came in for happy hour. The bar was full so we sat at a booth that was very intimate. Dim lighting but perfect feel. Gives a lounge feel almost.At the baby shower we had the oxtails, curry chicken, jerk chicken, macaroni and patties. Very very good! Today I had the island margarita which comes in a tequila bottle and between the two of us there was 8 drinks. Left feel really good lol.We shared the Cajun crab claws. I had the curry chicken stir fry subbed the rice for rice and peas. My boyfriend had the jerk turkey burger. We both left with food for dinner. Everything was great!

I went to this restaurant last week with a good friend of mine. This place is a lounge and during the Friday night hours there's a DJ and the music can be very loud. At times, I had to text my friend who was sitting right in front of me messages. The food was great and it flavored perfectly. My main reason for my deduction of two stars is due to the gratuity and service. The server was friendly however my meal came to over 70 dollars for oxtails and rice plate with a drink. I did my own math to discover that it was about 56 dollars and the service tip was 22 percent. Me and my friend went Dutch so I believed that's a pretty high gratuity rate for my meal. What I also noticed is that I didn't have the option to choose the gratuity percentage. Great aesthetic and good vibes for a date night but the whole customer service/gratuity left a bad taste in my mouth. Just giving my honest recent experience here.

Decided to check this place out had two friends. Tell me that they really enjoyed it.The food was absolutely delicious. I cannot explain to you. How overwhelmed I am with how great these crabcakes were. I love crabcakes and they did not disappoint. One bit. The same thing goes for their seafood dip now usually I'm kind of particular about it because a lot of places do not make a good seafood dip I love Pappadeaux seafood dip, but this one I have to say takes it to order another dish of seafood dip because it was so great. I will say that if you are a drinker, the Jamaican rum punch is very strong and I would advise you drink very slowly because it does catch up on you.Our server was great. She was very honest about her opinion about certain food items whether she liked them or hated them or hadn't tried them ever of course big on a hookah when I'm out enjoying myself I ordered a hookah or server did the hookah herself and it was perfect , because this is not a big establishment the servers as your food server and hookah server, but it doesn't take any time away from them giving you great service. The restaurant is small, but very functional and is not overcrowded with booth and tables, so you're able to maneuver to the bar or to the bathroom with ease. It is dimly lit so it provides an intimate setting for if you're on a date or if you just have a couple of friends having a girls or guys night out. They do have a live DJ I'm not sure if it's on certain nights or all the time but they managed the volume of the music well. We were able to hear ourselves throughout our entire conversation without having to yell over the music.The food was absolutely delicious and we will be back. If you're in the Sandy Springs area, I advise you to give it a try. 10/10

Walked in to this hidden gem tucked away in the strip mall. Loved the vibe as we walked in. We were met by the host and seated. Raven was our waitress who was very well aware of EVERYTHING on the menu! She went above and beyond to tend to my Chicagoan self while in Atlanta! The food was amazing! Best Jamaican food I've ever tasted! Authentic flavors, spices, and dishes! I even went back another night and enjoyed the music and other dishes that were a must try. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience authentic foods from the island. And for my fellow Muslims, NOTHING in this restaurant is pork or lard.

I arrived early. I was seated quickly despite my party being late. The atmosphere was lively, the music was Caribbean. The weight staff were bustling around taking care of tables. The restaurant was clean and orderly. Once my friend arrived, we all ordered cocktails. Two of us had one punch and the other one had an old-fashioned with a maraschino cherry. Prior to the meal - I asked out lovely server if we can have separate checks. I was told that that would be no problem since it was only a party of three.My friends ordered mango chicken and the other, an oxtail dish. I ordered the combination of oxtail and curry goat. Everything came out hot and fresh... Even my not so garlic cocoa bread came out before the meal. At the end of our meal, the DJ arrived, and the spontaneous fog started. Cute vibes!Our server returned and asked us if we wanted one check or if we were going to be splitting the checks. To me that means that I would pay for what I bought and vice versa. To our server, that split the check three ways. An effort to just keep it pushing, We let it fly..Because the service was good, we don't mind the 18% automatic ratatouille that's added to your check.It's been quite some time since I've had an opportunity to die in here. In the past, I ordered for my companies inventory meals. It's always been amazing and it still is in my opinion. I look forward to coming back.

I came here on a Wednesday night and was quickly seated. We ordered shrimp egg rolls and seafood dip. Both were really good. I ordered the choose 2 for$35..ox tails and Jerk chicken with Rice and peas(added), collards and plantains.It wasn't worth $35 at all. The jerk chicken was like 1 cut-up piece...I usually need a to go box for my meals but didn't need one. The portion compared to the price wasn't aligned. This meal was decent. Did a quick stop for lunch. We got there right when it opened and the biggest challenge was the service. It took quite a while for the meal, especially considering we were the first in the restaurant and there were only 5 total folks including us while we were there.We had to get ahead and order drinks with check to finish. The food was super good. Great flavor on the curry with a nice touch of heat. The menu looks great and would like to try other items.Back on the service, they add 18% as part of the bill no matter the size. It was definitely not 18% service. I am not sure of the staff is expecting the auto tip so speed and attention suffers.The atmosphere is cool with good Caribbean music in the background.I really struggling with over all. I will round up since the food was so good.

A friend told me this place and I was excited to come. But my expectations and the experience left me wondering, why did no one come to our table after being there 15 minutes, one waitress was at the bar smoking the person who sat us down disappeared into thin area, it was only 3 tables that had customers including ours.Service is key. Even if you are changing the channel on the TV, ask if we need anything.Extremely disappointed......

Me and a friend of mine decided to stop here to get a quick bite. When we arrived we parked in the public lot. We walked in and were greeted and sat at the bar. I started with the rum punch, and it was good. I then had the jerk shrimp egg rolls, and they were decent, just the sauce was a little sweet. My friend enjoyed their quesadilla. The bill wasn't bad and we had a good experience.

It was decent. The cocktail Pattie's are super overpriced. The jerk pasta wasn't as spicy as I'd expect and it was really lacking in the protein. I would suggest adding more meat and maybe some veggies to brighten the heaviness. Seems like a good vibe although we took our food to go.
