Catch is number 1 favorite restaurant! Food is super delicious. We always have the crispy cauliflower, lobster Mac and cheese, hit me cake, pretzel bread, filet skewers, and the grilled Spanish octopus! Always coming back!

This place has a very snobby atmosphere. So much so, we barely were able to even get a drink at the bar. It seems the man at the door did not want to let us in because we had no reservation. My friend and I told him we were just going to get a drink at the bar. He told us one was needed there as well. The bar was about half full. We were walking away and he said we could sit at the bar. We decided to, only because i heard the one in L.A. was fantastic. We already ate dinner, but i figured i would get sn idea by ordering a drink. The place is beautiful. Bar seservice was ok. My margarita was good but nothing out of this world.I did not like how we were treated at the door. I am not sure I would come back.

The food was very tasty and the cocktails creative. I have only sat at the bar so far in the three times I came but each time the bartender recommended some great dishes and different cocktails. I highly recommend the spicy cauliflower appetizer dish as well as the crispy rice dish. This is likely to be an even bigger scene when there rooftop opens up. But luckily it wasn't too busy for us to pop in to the bar. Look forward to trying more dishes soon!

Let me first start by saying,I'm a VIP member in Los Angeles, friends with the GM at both catch and catch steak locations and eat at the Los Angeles & NY locations frequently. However the service at this location is no where comparable to either. The staff here is extremely disorganized and their priority seating makes zero sense. I have never made a reservation somewhere and had to wait over an hour to sit down despite arriving on time. We watched several tables who came in after us sit before us. Once we finally sat down there were literally 4 open 2 seater tables open. We arrived at 10:04 for a reservation at 10, and sat down at 11:11. Ridiculous I will say they attempted to remedy by giving us a free salmon appetizer. (It wasn't very good but nice try)The food overall here is consistent with the rest of the food at the other locations. We got the omakase platter, the truffle cudo, wagyu gyoza, catch roll, wagyu roll & the hamachi crudo. It was all pretty good & fresh. A good 4/5 stars for the food itself. The free item the gave us was a salmon crudo, it was fresh but lacked flavor.the vibe of the space is nice but is not on par with the Los Angeles locations. My overall rating is 2/5 stars. I would have left and not eaten if it wasn't 11 and everything around was closed. If you're looking to try this place, go ahead and pass if it's busy because you will wait . Pls try the numerous other places in south beach who *actually* value your time and uphold reservations.

I'm honestly impressed with my experience at Catch. The interior design features a stunning wooden and dark green accents, creating a dark and vibey atmosphere. From the service to the food, everything was a 10/10.Our group ordered a bunch of items for the table, and everything was delicious. The steak skewers were a group favorite, with a hint of truffle that made us mouth-water and we had to order more.I personally loved the truffle mushroom pasta. While it didn't have much of truffle flavor, it was very creamy and savory. Our waiter, Nick, was extremely friendly and attentive.I will definitely be back.

Very poor customer service to people who live right next-door. They called their Neighbors VIP customers. This VIP customer was on his way home with another neighbor and we stop at CATCH to get a drink at the bar. We were turned away because we didn't have reservations. We had to have reservations to have a drink at the bar??

Worth a visit! A great addition to the restaurant options South of Fifth.Celebrated a birthday dinner here for a party of 8 and the experience did not disappoint. Pro tip: make sure your entire party arrives together or you won't get seated until everyone is in attendance.Atmosphere: Gorgeous wood, modern clean lines, and visually captivating. Timing of food: Perfectly paced. Drinks come out a bit slow. Service: Friendly and attentive waiters and hostesses.Noteworthy Dishes:- Wagyu Fried Rice: Phenomenal. Comes with a leaky egg - bursting with rich, savory flavors and a hint of umami. I'm still thinking about it.- Steamed King Crab Legs: Simply delicious.- Catch Roll: A spectacular presentation, literally lights on fire!- Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti: Luxuriously creamy with an earthy truffle taste.Must try desserts:-The Carnival: warm donut balls presented on a Ferris wheel-Hit Me Chocolate Cake: dangerously good for chocolate lovers-complimentary Cookies: the perfect balance of a warm crisp exterior with gooey interiors and salted finishHighly recommend!

Famous celeb-sighting Catch restaurant came to Miami Beach. We went there in the opening week, and here are my thoughts. The interior is beautiful, giving NY fancy bar vibes completely different from the one in LA. I didn't like the service. We came an hour before our reservation, and we were asked to wait. I would expect them to try to find a table for us earlier, but not only didn't it happen, but we waited 30 minutes PAST our reservation time. They make all people wait at the bar, which I think is their method of selling more alcohol. That is disrespectful! Setting aside this issue, let's discuss the food. I really enjoyed the Catch signature roll with the torch presentation. The Hellfire roll wasn't disappointing either. Shishito peppers are a great starter with an extra smoky flavor. The Caesar salad and Wagyu gyoza were good but not impressive. Okay, desserts are MUST-TRY. The pistachio cheesecake blew my mind: super rich, nutty, creamy cheesecake with natural pistachio paste. I couldn't believe it was vegan! And, of course, the famous Hit Me chocolate cake. Dense brownies covered with melted ice cream and chocolate--great show, great taste. I will return to Catch for their dishes, but I hope the service and waiting situation will get better.

The food here is spectacular and never disappoints, even across different locations. The service is great too! Something I've noticed at both locations is they overbook- this Miami Catch has a very very small eating area option. Our reservation was at 745, and we got sat at 945.... But we were prepared for that based on previous reviews. If you're in a hurry, don't come here. If you're mentally prepared that you'll be waiting a while, enjoy a drink at the bar and people watch & mingle. Should this amount of wait be acceptable? Absolutely not, but it depends how bad you want to eat there! Be nice to the front desk people.... It's not a their fault the restaurant overbooks tables and people mingle at their table for too long. & get the donut Ferris wheel!!!!
