This was my first time in Houston and the staff at Carrabba's were extremely welcoming. The waitress always checked on us and the food came out so fast. The food was very tasty and was close to authentic as you could get. The restaurant wasn't busy at all for a Sunday evening. The ambiance was great and relaxing.

Best thing on the table was the salt and pepper. Server asked if we wanted appetizers as we were handed our menus. I asked for a few minutes and that was a mistake, because i didn't see the server for 10 minutes. Then they sat a crying toddler directly behind us. Mind you, there are only 4 other tables at the time.. so they could have been sat ANYWHERE else...when server returns, she walks past us and takes the order of the woman with the obnoxious child. She finally takes our order. Then proceeds to serve our food before the appetizer. The poor quality of the food was not the servers fault, obviously. My dish was bland, and tasted like a reheat meal from the frozen section of a grocery store. I will never return and will encourage everyone I know to avoid Carabbas at all costs.

Came for my usual for lunch. House Caesar, a cup of chicken soup and calamari. House Caesar: it was good. I forgot to ask for Ez dressing but the regular way was delightful. Not heavily covered in dressing. Chicken soup: my ultimate favorite and has yet to let me down. If it's one thing they do right, it's the chicken soup. AmazingCalamari: crispness is still good. Love the seasoning. I asked the server if they can make it less salty and he said he could ask. Still a tiny bit too salty but way better than last visit. My throat isn't on fire from the salt burning this time. I feel the marinara has a pinch too much salt. They're both good when eaten separately but when you combine, then it's too much. Not sure if they fixed the flour or did it when I asked the server to make a little less salty. For sure better. Service was quick and easy. Not too busy in here. He checked on me throughout my experience. Refilled my water as needed. The interior was clean and nice. Not too loud not too quiet. Classy yet casual feel. Music volume was good. Tables were set and clean. Overall good experience.

I've been a regular at Carrabbas for years. Sadly, this will no longer be on our list. The restaurant was empty when we visited. There was only one other couple in the dining room at the time. The staff was very unprofessional they gathered in two large groups by the host station and the prep station and carried on very loud conversations. The kitchen group was right by our table and included 12 or so staff feet from our table, we could hear their entire conversation, and it lasted the length of our stay. The food was subpar for the price point. I ordered the chicken Bryan $23 and received maybe a 5oz portion of chicken with very small sad acoment of under cooked and under seasoned broccoli. My companion ordered the chicken Marssala. She requested pasta instead of Broccoli and was told their was $4 upcharge for pasta? Usually, pasta is included. Her dish was $27 with the upcharge. She only had a small drizzle of Marssala sauce and 3 mushrooms on her plate. She wondered allowed if the cooks were told to count them or if they only came 3 to a bag now.The price point for this restaurant is high-end italian. However, the food tasted like a low-end pre-packaged chain slop. I'm sure corporate saved a few bucks cutting corners. However, they lost regulars. I felt hustled walking out. Never Again!

Horrible host, took 10 minutes just to attend us while it was empty. Servers never came and we waited for 25 minutes with no drink, just the menus. Do no recommend this place at all. Servers took other tables that came 10 minutes after us. Sat us all the way in the back so no one would attend us, but acted surprised once we left. Never going back there again, lack of work ethic in that place.

I recently revisited Carrabba's after a previous dining experience that didn't meet our expectations. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only did we return, but we also had the same server, which turned out to be a delightful coincidence. Our entire dining experience was impeccable from start to finish. One of the standout aspects was the flawless flow of the evening. At no point did we find ourselves waiting for a drink refill or for a fresh basket of bread. The timing of everything was impeccable. As soon as we placed our order, our salads were promptly served, and when we finished those, our entrees arrived promptly as well. What truly stood out was the quality of the food. Each meal was cooked to perfection. It's evident that under this new management, this Carrabba's location is operating like a well-oiled machine.Having been residents of this area for over seven years, we can confidently say that this was by far the best dining experience we've had at Carrabba's. The level of service, attention to detail, and the overall dining experience have improved significantly. We hope they continue on this path, as it's clearly working. Kudos to the team for turning our previous experience around and making our visit memorable. We'll certainly be returning soon.I would recommend the filet with spicy Sicilian butter. Always a good cut of meat and I go with fresh veggies always. You really can't be the price! This time I had the Blood Orange Margarita but usually fancy the Prickly Pear Margarita. Both are great, not overly sugary and balanced well. Honestly I usually come here for the bread and one of the two margaritas. My family usually goes with pasta dishes and fancies the mezzaluna or when they have it the pumpkin or butternut squash ravioli. A must try if they have it!

I had been given a gift card for my birthday last year. So, I decided to treat myself with dinner and dessert. So, I ordered chicken parmigiana. I go and pick it up and I gave the young lady my gift card and money for the difference. So, she takes off and never comes back. So, I had to get off to check where my change was.So, I go in and she finally gives me my money. I go home and the chicken was so dry and there was no marinara sauce, they put the stuff to dip the bread in however, there was no bread. I couldn't even finish my food. I was going to call to talk to the manager but, the restaurant was already closed. I just really wanted to let them know how disappointed I was. I was so excited to eat at this restaurant and now I will never go back. How upsetting this whole experience was for me.

Terrible dish! I purchased the Fritto Misto- it was over cooked (fried hard)!! & Bland- if it wasn't for the sauce it would have been basically tasteless! I should have followed my first mind & returned the food when it was bought out to me (I tasted it- Just Fried without a taste)! I thought that there would be more shrimp than the fried veggies - according to the items listed in the description ( only 4 shrimp). The food looked nothing like the picture... I should have cooked at home instead of wasting my money!

This Carrara's was one of the best restaurants in the area. Sadly I will not be returning.I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan it was fried to a burned crisp. The batter was extremely salty that it was not edible. The manager never showed to express apologies. My server was mortified that the manager did not come and explain. No this is not acceptable for the price and the fact no pasta is included with the Parmesan. It's now 2am and I am suffering with indigestion from a second entree that I tried which was just as salty. A pasta with meat sauce that then charged me $3 extra dollars! Add insult to injury.
