I forgot to take pics of my brewery cheeseburger, but it was delicious! I was in the mood for a great burger and was not disappointed! The hand cut fries were also delicious, I could eat them every day! Our server was professional, personable and checked in to what everyone in my party of 7 needed. Carolina Brewery is a great space with a college town vibe, sports bar/family restaurant, with space for a party or an intimate meal. I'd definitely get the potato chip nachos next time! And, my coworker got the fish and chips and said they were delicious as well!

Title: Disappointing Experience at Carolina BreweryI don't visit Chapel Hill often, but I happened to discover Carolina Brewery with my two co-workers when we couldn't get into our original restaurant choice due to a long wait. Although I enjoyed my Bison Burger, the overall experience was marred by poor customer service. As the only person of color in my group, I was dismayed by the lack of warmth and friendliness from the staff. Upon entering, the person I assumed was the manager at the hostess stand completely ignored me when I asked to seat three people, directing all communication to my fair-skinned colleagues instead. This behavior continued throughout our stay, which lasted over an hour and a half.Despite being seated promptly, the service was incredibly slow. Our water was never refilled, and we experienced long delays for both our food and the check. Given the subpar service, we might have been better off waiting for the original restaurant.I am unimpressed and unlikely to return or recommend Carolina Brewery to friends and family. The establishment could benefit from customer service training that emphasizes empathy and respect for all individuals, regardless of race, origin, sex, or creed. I hope this review prompts some positive changes

I have to give Carolina Brewery 4 stars because even after many years, I still miss the old menu which was bigger and better. The food is still good, including the massive nachos, and this is still one of my favorite places in Chapel Hill. Service is not the best but part of the reason is how many people they are able to sit, especially for sporting events on the TV's. It's one of my favorite breweries in NC still, I love the Copperline and the Sky Blue especially.

Service at the bar was very good. Friendly and nice and attentive. My breakfast quesadilla not so much. I asked for the pico de gallo and cilantro be put on side. I don't like cilantro. It came with it all inside and sprinkled with cilantro all over the plate. I picked at it the best I could, see picture. I only ate one quarter, the tiny cup of fruit and half of the potato's. Beware if you don't like cilantro. I didn't send it back as they are slammed with customers before the football games.

I came here on a Sunday after a night out in the town. The food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. The staff was friendly and attentive. There are TVs lined up everywhere, which made the place definitely look ideal to watch a game or two. I would definitely come back.

My husband and I had such GREAT and kind service here! The place was not busy at all, so we were seated right away. It was a hot day, so I wasn't feeling too hungry. I just wanted something cold and refreshing. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer. The guacamole tasted really plain, but I really liked the pita chips. For my entree, I ordered the mixed house salad with a vinaigrette dressing. The grilled chicken was nothing special, but the rest of the salad was refreshing. My husband ordered the Carolina On My Mind burger with a side of fries. I had a few bites of his fries and they were delicious. Carolina Brewery is in a great area downtown in Chapel Hill right near UNC's campus. The area is probably more lively when it's not summer, but I enjoyed our time here. With their great hospitality and fries, I definitely want to come back.

So so sooooo good yall! This place has become a new regular spot for me. Sometimes I'll just come here and grab a beer. But other times, like today I'll get the full treatment. Today I enjoyed the Carolina on My Mind Burger, with fries. If you have never had a burger with pimento cheese on it, do yourself a favor and come on down to Carolina Brewery. The service is friendly and fast. The doors were open and it felt amazing. Wonderful, summer day! Stop by sometime, if I'm there, I might join you in a pint!

Definitely skip Carolina Brewery. To start, the beer was just not that good. The draft margarita had a dirt taste to it. For food, the guac was actually solid. The pulled pork was truly the worst I've ever had. The meal came out SO quickly, like too quickly...We left to go split a meal down the street somewhere else because this was such a letdown.

In town for the first time Chapel Hills NC. My Son Steven and I decided an early beer sounded good. Don't judge us . We pulled into Carolina Brewery and enjoyed a couple of beers from a surprisingly large beer menu. Our server saying "You All" was extraordinarily nice. We taught her some Minnesotan "You Guys", "Have you been up North", "For Sure", and of course "You betcha". She talked us into a loaded potato Chips that were excellent.Very casual chill environment. It was a fortunate great start to our weekend adventure Gophers vs. UNC!!

Fantastic visit on a Sunday afternoon. Bar is huge and lots of great beers on tap. They had Bloody Mary's and mimosas on special for under $5! Service was very friendly and made recommendations. We ordered the potato chip nachos which were AMAZING and huge! Ordered the omelet and home fries, easily enough for two portions! The burgers were also huge and delicious flavor! Will be back for sure :)
