Caribbean Kicker Food Truck

Walked up to this food truck and was immediately greeted by amazing smells! The gentleman working the counter wasn't overly talkative but that's fine, the man was focused. I ordered a Caribbean shrimp quesadilla, a jerk chicken eggroll, and a strawberry lemonade. The quesadilla was good. The shrimp was cooked nice but there wasn't a lot of volume to this quesadilla. Just cheese and shrimp, not a whole lot of flavor for me. All quesadillas are served with chips and queso, big bonus for me! Then the eggroll, these things are MASSIVE! An eggroll stuffed with Cabbage and jerk chicken, wooo these things packed some heat but they were delicious. I split the eggroll with a friend of mine who couldn't stop raving about the jerk chicken quesadilla and the eggroll. I gotta say, if you're looking for some delicious jerk chicken or Caribbean food, give this food truck a try!

Food Truck Time: Caribbean Kicker at HollyFest in Holly SpringsI tried this food truck at an event and it took a total of 50 minutes from the line to order to receive my food (the majority of time waiting was to get my food). I ordered the Island Shrimp Bowl. It was rice and shrimp with a sauce and seasoning, I wanted more ingredients to the bowl than that. It was good but there was too much rice to the other ingredients and the shrimp were a tad overcooked. The main driver behind my review outside of the basic bowl is the wait time, my husband visited two food trucks and returned before I got my food.

I caught them at the Dreamville Festival. They were the best vendor there. Their food was priced well and actually worth the cost. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and refreshing. The jerk chicken rice bowl was so fulfilling. The chicken was tender and the sauce was amazing on top of the well cooked rice. They provided high quality food at a large event which isn't easy to do. I hope I have an opportunity to try their food again.

So delicious! Ordered the jerk chicken egg roll, surf and turf egg roll, and the combination bowl (jerk chicken and shrimp). Soooo good! I ate the whole bowl in one sitting, didn't intend to do that, but I couldn't stop. I like spicy food and have a fairly high heat tolerance and the jerk chicken had a nice little kick. Definitely plan to order again and again! The wait for the food was a bit too long, but that's their room for improvement. Besides that, food and customer service was A-1! Sorry, no time for pics this time!

Listen this food truck is the bomb! The food is filled with flavor and always consistent when I visit. I love their Mac and cheese, jerk bowl and salmon scramble. You can usually find this truck in Knighdale. I am not sure if they travel. Service is wonderful and the truck is colorful.

50 mins wait and greasy eggrolls that werent edible. They were more worried about drinking than cooking/serving.

Devine! My favorite is the Jerk Chicken Quesadilla is so delicious!!!! Spicy, Cheesy & full of flavor!!! Run and get yours... they never disappoint!!

Waited in line for 20 minutes and when it was my turn to order I was told they weren't taking anymore orders for the day and the guy turned away from the window. I was the only person left in line. Hopefully he has a lot of friends that will buy his food, because with service like that I can't imagine he'll keep too many customers.
