I have eaten here six times and the food is always consistent. Perfectly cooked butterfly shrimp. Homemade tartar sauce. These are gulf of Mexico shrimp. Excellent value!

Best neighborhood spot in all of Houston. I've lived on fairbanks for 25+ years and this restaurant has always been here. The manager is a lovey character and shows he definitely cares about his customers. The burgers are always juicy and delicious. Seafood gumbo is a big surprise for your tastebuds! Captains is borderline perfect!

You have to try the seafood gumbo here! Really incredible flavor and it goes perfectly with the grilled tilapia with shrimp platter. This is a little hole-in-the-wall place with excellent service and delicious food. They also do burgers with homemade onion rings that are fantastic. Oh and the restroom was spotless--as someone who is OCD I really appreciated that. Apparently they're going to start doing fresh fried chicken soon too, so I'll definitely be back for that.

We had the ten pieces of fried fish and shrimp fried rice and it was very delicious. We ordered in the drive thru and was asked to move up to the end of the drive. Service was very fast and food was delicious. Received food with a smile. We will be back soon.

This place used to be great! Not so much anymore. Apparently nobody made tea today nobody ordered hamburger buns so it was way overcooked and served on toast!!But my buddy ordered a poboy that came out on a hamburger bun WTF!!!!Skipping this place moving forward!The captain needs to come out of retirement!!!!

Fair prices for decent but not extravagant food. Chairs are uncomfortably hard. Take it to go because servers are slow and apathetic.

Used to enjoy going here. Used to be quite busy and good food for a good price. But the prices are different from their menu. They did state that the prices increased. But 57% increase is insane. No wonder they don't post the prices. And the quality declined. The place was dead.
