Captain Hook's

First time visiting for me. The service was very good but the cleanliness of the restaurant could use some improvement. Had wings and fish which were ok but nothing to get overly excited about. I may return if I happen to be in the area but they are worth a try.

My wife is currently on a dairy-free diet and wings w/o dairy batter is hard to come by. I was targeted by Captain Hooks on social media and I figure I give them a call to ask about their ingredients. They assured me multiple times the wings are dairy free so I went ahead an ordered. Wings were a hit! No issues with my wife's allergies...win all around!I ordered the 25 wing platter , which comes with fries and Hook's sauce on the side. The wings are excellent tasting, great seasoning and crispy! The fries are just ok but I'm not really there for the fries. The hooks dipping sauce is mayo/thousand island/pepper based - similar looks to like a Raising Caine's sauce...it was excellent!Will be back again and again!

Couldn't have been more perfect than this. The service was great and the food was excellent.

My husband sent me an ad for Captain Hook's as he knows I love seafood and it's very close to our neighborhood. It's in an unassuming, but easy to access strip with other businesses, and when we went it was within an hour of closing and completely empty, which was not surprising as it was a rainy Tuesday night. We were greeted immediately by eager friendly staff, and asked if we would be dining in or taking to go. The inside is very small, maybe 3-4 tables of 2 seats each, so don't expect to eat here during busy times. No worries though because there is a drive through as well as quick counter service. After ordering our meals we sat down to eat, and was asked again about our dining preferences, and we stuck with eating in as we had another run to make afterwards.When I tell you it was fresh and hot, it seems like an understatement. My husband loved his chicken and fish (he burned the roof of his mouth eating lol) and my fish and shrimp were also cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back often, and if you're looking for good, no frills fresh food, this is the place!

One good thing I can say is excellent customer service!!!! But I ordered catfish, did not taste like catfish, you can tell the fish frozen not fresh. Cornmeal is very thick. Shrimp is yuck! My opinion they really need better product.

If you're on Fry road in Katy and have a hankering for good fried fish/seafood or chicken/wings give Capt Hooks a try!

As far as the food everything TOO salty . They did get my order correct. I appreciate that. I hope they could cut back on the south and allow the customer to just ask for salt and that way they have a choice to season as they want but this is my first visit and all my goodness just too much salt ..Service good, It's a drive thru no ambiance to talkAbout. But very cleanThe food would have been very tasty if it wasn't overloaded with salt.

Food was 10/10. Reminded me of being back home in Chicago. Service was quick and easy. The restaurant was very clean.

Best food I have ever had! Customer service was amazing and great! If you get a chance to eat inside, it is nice.
