Capriccio Blue Lagoon

The food tasted good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We started with the fried calamari which also had fried zucchini and potatoes My wife had a salad with seared tuna (tuna tataki), one son had a beef and mushroom ‍ pasta with a creamy "red" sauce (gnocchi tenderloin), my other son had chicken capresa, and I ended up having the eggplant parmigiana (only after finding out that my first two choices were out of stock (eggplant rolletini and lasagna)).Every dish was yummy! The only issue that I had, other than my first choices being denied , was that the eggplant parmigiana was simply that and a lot of it. I assumed there would be pasta with it, like there is with the chicken parm. Anyway, it was good, but a bit too much.In the end, if I were staying in Miami, I think this place is worth another visit.

Walked in and the ambiance is very cute and rustic. We were sat very quickly and the table and decor was clean and Italian with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Service was quick, took our our and the food came out timely. Ordered little man's food first and he devoured it. 10/10 recommend. If you work in Waterford they have a very fast and cheap pizza lunch specials.

During our recent trip, we found ourselves returning to Capriccio Blue Lagoon not once, but twice, solely for its exceptional food. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the truffle fries--they were simply some of the best I've ever had, perfectly crispy and infused with delightful truffle flavor.Another standout was the tiramisu, which I can confidently say was the best I've ever tasted. Its rich layers and balanced flavors left a lasting impression.Both visits, every dish we ordered arrived fresh, hot, and promptly served. The restaurant has a serene ambiance with dim lighting that adds a touch of sophistication without feeling overly formal--definitely not your typical "fine dining" atmosphere, but it exudes a certain charm.If you appreciate a good sandwich or steak, this place is a must-try. They excel in both, offering dishes that are not only delicious but also satisfyingly hearty. Additionally, their selection of wines complements the menu perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. We'll certainly be back for more memorable meals.

Staying at the Hilton Blue Lagoon so I took the short walk to Capriccio and it was worth the stroll. I will have to say the tag line is spot on. Atmosphere was very nice and clean, open kitchen like going to the bistro on the corner in Italy. But as they this is not fine but fine eating and I couldn't agree more! I had the Tuna Tataki salad and the spaghetti di mare both were spectacular and the olive oil on the table was not your ordinary olive oil. Service was very good even with a packed dining room. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami. Everything in this restaurant is amazing and authentic. I have been to this location and the one in doral multiple times already it is highly recommended!!! They have lunch special to go only and their chicken Parmesan is the best !! I love all of their pasta you could never go wrong with any choice. I have not tried their pizza yet but sure will be the next time I go

Amazing food and service. Small but great vibe. Delicious pesto gnocchi, pizza, pappardelle mushroom, NY steak. Entire family left so happy! Must come back if staying near Miami airport again

Fast, fresh and fabulous. Tasty food with very little waiting. Pleasant ambiance with tasteful furnishings and enjoyable music. Enjoyed the truffle fries, huge bowl that didn't last because it was delicious. Fig ravioli was sweet with a nice cheese contrast. Gnocchi alla checca good texture and great sauce.

A group of 4 of Us stopped by for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted & seated. Our meals were beyond delicious.

I stopped by this shopping center looking at something else, came in here instead and I wasn't disappointed. The place is so beautifully decorated. The service was impeccable and the food was great! Highly recommend this hidden spot
