Calaveritas Taqueria Vegana

Don't walk but run to get you some tacos. Let me say that I don't eat beef so I can't compare, but these were the best vegan birria tacos I've had. They were crisp and full of flavor.Please note this is a walk up window with some outside seating. The employee at the window was nice and helpful.10/10 highly recommend.

Calaveritas Taqueria Vegana is a Vegan gem !! I am so glad I found them It's a bit tucked away in an office space setting, but absolutely worth the visit. The food is all vegan and unbelievably delicious--I got the *birria tacos* and my husband tried the *carnitas tacos*--both were incredibly tasty and satisfying. We also grabbed the *Seamoss lemonade* and a *chocolate chip cookie*, which were the perfect additions to our meal.They have a nice little seating area where you can relax and enjoy your food. The staff is super friendly, and they've got a loyalty program (which I love!). I can definitely see this becoming a weekly stop for us. I can't wait to try their nachos!! Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area--or even if you're not! It's worth the trip.

Although I myself am not vegan, I am always interested in new places and foods. There are some Mexican restaurants that wish they had food that packed as much flavor as this place does. Beyond impressed with everything I had. The nachos. The frescas. And man that quesadilla was incredible. The people were nice too!!

You already know we had to come back to try more items. At this point we've had every single item on the menu and have not had a single thing that was bad. Where else can you say that! For a meat-eater, Calaveritas is one of the few all Vegan restaurants where I like every single item on the menu. We'll be back again soon!!

Vegan businesses are often on the margin, and this one was operating as a takeout window with a few outdoor tables in what looked like a warehouse district. For me, this was not an insignificant inconvenience given how long I'd driven to get there. However, the food was about as good as I could have hoped.Ordering tacos gave the opportunity to mix and match their protein options. They have a mix of soy, wheat, and mushroom, cooked to resemble Mexican traditional specialties that those of us shopping here can't eat. My tacos were beautifully prepared with double-layered blue corn tortillas and ample garnishes and sauces. There was a bit of an off-note crunch in one of them, but otherwise my tacos were loaded with flavor and textural contrast and were interesting to eat. I would be happy to try anything else they offer.Hopefully they can continue to grow and get into a real restaurant space.

I was in atlanta and someone recommended that i should checkout Calaveritas so i did. i placed an online order and got the nachos and the taco trio - the taco trio i could choose any 3 proteins and i ordered the mushroom, the one with papas/potatoes and a regular one to try the different varietiesIt was a bit difficult to locate the restaurant and after i picked up my order i had to go somewhere else so by the time i ate the food it wasn't completely hot which may have affected my review.the nachos were alright - a bit bland for my taste and i would've preferred more flavor. also, the chips do not hold up as within an hour they got softthe tacos were really good - the three variety of tacos plus the sides. as with the chips, they did become a different taste the later in the night

These vegan tacos taste so authentic and I would love them even if I was a meat eater. I have tried all the protein options but the birria jackfruit tacos are my favorite. My kids like the burritos. The homemade hot sauce/salsa options are so flavorful. I crave these tacos! It's all window service but they have always been so friendly and I love the purple & orange recent decor updates. Don't ever leave me, Calaveritas!! Keep going & growing, ATL needs you.

Hands down the best VEGAN taco place I've been to! So flavorful and delicious. I bought the 5 taco special and chose all 5 proteins amazing! I ordered 5 more to go! I also bought a crème pie and the horchata ! Will be back very soon. Customer service is was on point and the wait time was excellent. I also loved that you can sit outside and enjoy your meal.

First of all. the website got me !! I had to pull up and see what I could see. It was a little confusing to find but it was well worth the 50 circles around the parking lot that it took me to realize where they were. The Mushtoom street tacos were beautiful and delicious. The fresh pineapple & coconut drink the guy recommended was so refreshing. Purple is my favor color so the ambiance we perfect. The pic nic tables were clean and covered with umbrellas so shade was provided. I shared the information will all my plant based life style friends. They also have SeaMoss Gummies !!! Yummmm

The best burrito I have had in quite a while. I will be returning. The salsas were amazing and spicy. It all hit the spot.
