Cafe Lucia

I came in and ordered some iced drinks and a grilled cheese sandwhich. The young lady took my order and said it would be about 10-15 minutes on the sandwhich. There were no other customers so they didn't have much to do so they were all on their phones sitting on the counters. I didn't mind, I know how it is when you're young and bored at work. I waited and waited and after about 20 minutes, I asked the young lady about my order and she said, "what order?" I told her I was waiting on a sandwhich and they all turned and looked at each other. They forgot and said it would be 10-15 minutes for the sandwhich. I was upset but didn't make a big deal about it and asked for a refund. The girl didn't even apologize and proceeded to give me my money back. I like this place, but the lack of urgency and customer service will keep me from coming back.Not to mention, in the 20-25 minutes that I waited for the sandwhich, I was looking around and the place is pretty dirty. Dust balls(bunnies) and dirt all over the floors. An adult needs to come in and make changes to the place.

I came here a couple of times to get some writing done. Twice I ordered one of their signature/special flavored lattes, and I asked for half the amount of espresso since I don't really like the coffee taste to be too overpowering. Both were diff flavors and still tasted like straight up coffee bean. No white chocolate, raspberry, or whatever that was that I ordered in the flavor profile.I also ordered some food. Pancakes once, which were small and not memorable, and the hasbrowns with onions and peppers or something. Also not great, and too oily.The ambience is fine, but not very clean. People are moving in and out of the tables and booths and because you seat yourself, nobody seems to be actively wiping off tables or cleaning food bits from the floor in between customers. I chose not to go back because even if I'm not going to eat, I prefer for the place I plan to sit for a few hours to be neater and less grimy feeling.

I settled on Cafe Lucia as a comfy work from home spot, and I was glad I did. Parking is plentiful on the street and in a lot behind the establishment. The menu is clearly posted on chalkboards and they have a large selection of drink syrups. The chipotle BLT was delicious, even though it didn't match the menu. The menu said focaccia but it was actually served on a croissant. I didn't mind this, but it's something to be aware of. The strawberry lemonade was delicious. I'll return!

I ordered the Avo Veg ($8.75) and added a scrambled egg ($1.50). It is avocado, tomato, peppers, onions, and feta served in naan bread. It was good, but I wish the avocado was sliced instead of mashed like guacamole. I also ordered the Reese's latte with oat milk.

One of my fav little coffee shops to sit and read a book of chat with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the seating in this place could stand to be replaced. Food and coffee are delicious. Service is always friendly and helpful no matter how business they are.

This was my second visit here meeting up with my dad on a quick trip to Atlanta. And I have got to say, I love this breakfast place! It's in a really neat little shopping area with plenty of parking and lovely green spaces. There is outside seating and ample inside too. It's dog friendly meaning you can actually bring your dog inside which is rare. There were so many people with their dogs. They have plenty of drink options. I got the chai tea is it was great! Yelp game me a 15% off cou one for checking in so make sure you do that and use it! I got the French toast the first time and sweet potato Pancakes the second. Both were yummy. The sweet potato pancakes would be perfect forSomeone that doesn't want really sweet breakfast. Next time I'm trying the pastries. There is a large kids section and what I think might be art from local artists. Love this place!

I was being serviced at the nail salon across the street and stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat. The cafe offers both inside and outside seating though; I favored outside as inside seemed hazing and smokey. I liked how they had an area for children to entertain themselves as the cafe is extremely family friendly.The cashier that took my order lacked "that" personal touch. It could just have been personality or the fact it was in the end of the Saturday morning rush.With it being a coffeeshop and all the noises that comes with it, I wish the young lady preparing the drinks used her outside voice to announce when someone's drink was ready.The food and drink were delicious. "The Reg" consisted of bacon, egg, and, cheese in a buttery croissant. It was actually quite a filling sandwich.

I was in the area and needed a "pick me up." I heard Cafe Lucia had good sandwiches and lattes, so I decided to stop by and see what they were about. The cafe is very spacious. There were patrons doing work while enjoying their drinks/food. I walked right up to the counter to browse the menu. The employee was very helpful and gave me a couple recommendations. I went with the Turkey Pesto Sandwich on a croissant and the Caramel King Latte. The sandwich was delicious! The latte was just ok. I would go back to try more food items and their specialty drinks. The cafe also serves mimosas, beers, and wine.

Cafe Lucia easily became my favorite coffee shop this year. I've been here so many times they know my name! It can get pretty busy on weekend mornings so I visit mostly during the week. They have quite a few tables inside and outside and even books and chalk to entertain the little ones. There is wifi and I have " worked from home" here once or twice. They have great coffee both hot and iced. The breakfast bowl is so good and its a bit of a healthier choice. The breakfast sandwiches are always delicious as well. They also have a point system which grants you get percentages off and even a free pastry after so many points. I'll always love cafe lucia!!

The service is incredibly slow. Waited over 45 minutes for a latte and black coffee. We didn't even order food. This has happened on more than one occasion. Don't waste your time trying to get coffee from here.
