Cafe Adel

When my buddy suggested we go to a Bosnian restaurant, it was my first time even knowing there was a spot in Houston. And it almost immediately turned into a restaurant I can't get out of my head since I tried it. Girice: Fried anchovies served with a spicy roasted pepper sauceGreat appetizer. Even though it's fried it doesn't feel too heavy. Mixed Platter - lots of meat: cevap, pljeskavica, chicken and beef skewers with some veggies. All the meat was remarkably tender and delicious. Stuffed Pljeskavica - meat patty stuffed with mushrooms and cheese, comes with fries. My favorite thing on the menu that we ordered. So tender, seasoned perfectly, and the stuffed mushroom and cheese added that extra bit of indulgence. Service was fast & friendly. Affordable prices.Looking forward to coming back and trying out some of their other dishes.

We have had this restaurant on our list to try for a while. We have been to Bosnia and absolutely loved the food so it kind of reminds us like we are back there. The food is absolutely delicious, freshly made, and made to order. The inside of the restaurant is really cool and they also have outside seating. The wait staff is super nice and helpful with navigating the menu. Can't rave about this place enough all around a great restaurant. I highly recommend!

I love Cafe Adel! The first time I went here I had the Gulas, and it was so comforting and full of flavor that I left full but still wanting to try more haha. On my second trip I tried the fried cheese (don't skip this), the salad and pizza , and each dish was 5 stars. Their pizza needs more attention because it was one of the best I'd ever had-and unexpected as this is a bosnian restaurant.

Was craving my favorite feel good meal in the city. Food was good as always came out super hot and freshly made from scratch. Impeccable service is always a shoulders glance around. The restaurant is always not super busy with a great environment to have a great first date or family meal

Cafe Adel is one of my favorite spots for lunch and dinner. The ambiance and service is always unmatched. It's so calm and beautiful in the establishment. I try to visit once a month because the food is so good. Some of my favorites are Cevapcici, Kajmak Dip, and Sakavci. In addition to this the Turkish coffee and the imported beer selection is great. Definitely a neighborhood staple!

This is my first time trying Bosnian food and it was delicious! I got the cevapcici sandwich and the sausage was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Bread was fresh and soft. My husband got the stuffed pljeskavica and he liked it too. Everything seemed fresh and I felt like I was transported to Europe. I hope they maintain their quality and authenticity because that is what makes me love the Houston food scene! I will definitely be back to get the cevapcici again and to try other Bosnian dishes on their menu!

We are a Bosnian-American Family. The food was authentic, delicious, and affordable. The live music made the experience even better. Service was nice too.

12/10 , I love this place and can't wait to come back I loved their food selection , everything was fresh and hot . The owner ( I'm assuming he was the owner ) was amazing and very inviting and accommodating, the wine selections were amazing .I have nothing bad to say other than I wish I ordered more food lol . You won't regret this place , the restaurant makes you feel like you're in another country aesthetic and food wise . Love

Taste of Bosnian food, great place to visit. In a strip mall passed the area several times but never knew the place was there. It's a nice size not too small and not too big. This is a great place to meet with friends a nice little date night. That staff was very friendly and helpful on helping you make your selection. I dined with friends who are very familiar with Bosnian food and suggested a little take of everything.Fried cheese - let me 1st I'm a cheese lover! This was good but the cheese had a bland taste for me. Nice batters and paired the sauce it was okay. Burek - we had a half and half beef and cheese. This was soo good. The pastry was light and when I added the Kajmak on top head explosion of goodness. There were other flavors that I will try. Kajmak is like a buttery cream cheese. Lamb shank- nicely seasoned and tender. Sarma - is a cabbage roll, not your regular cabbage the cabbage has a pickled taste not strong has a nice blend with the meet. The dessert was good the apple dessert they did not have any whip cream to top it but it's a spice apple taste. Great chill spot good wine and food still a lot more in the menu to try.
