On my most recent trip, I was passing through ATL during a road trip, and brunch at Buttermilk was a must. Despite arriving 15 minutes late for our reservation, the hostess was incredibly kind and seated us right away. Our server was just as lovely, offering thoughtful recommendations and being super attentive throughout our meal.I've been craving buttermilk pancakes for a while and knew this was the perfect spot to satisfy that. I ordered their pancakes, which came with Banner butter and whiskey rye syrup, and let me tell you--they were easily the best pancakes I've ever had. Fluffy, buttery, and perfectly made, they were an absolute dream.I really wanted my boyfriend to try the chicken biscuit, but he went for the fried chicken sandwich instead. And I have to admit it was delicious. The hot sauce paired with it was on point, and the truffle potatoes were phenomenal. My only regret? Not ordering the biscuit basket. I'm still thinking about those biscuits--they looked incredible! What I love most about Buttermilk Kitchen is that everything is made from scratch. You can taste the quality in every bite.

On arrival one of us hopped out to reserve a table on waitlist and the other looked for parking. There are about 4 parking lots to park on Sundays. You might have to circle around for a few minutes to catch a spot though. Our Server Daisy was attentive, sweet, caring and pleasantly patient! We had a 1 hour wait for a table. All good because we brought Uno cards (HIGHLY SUGGESTED). We sat in two chairs at the porch waiting area. Time flew by! First up, the Biscuit Basket. The biscuits were so warm! I enjoyed the crunchy outer layer. In terms of flavor, 3/5. Enjoyed the fact they're house-made. The red pepper jelly was my favorite pairing! Next, Short Rib Hash. 3.5/5. It was flavorful, I enjoyed the texture and flavor of the potatoes. But, I do wish there was a bit more short rib in the dish. Last dish, Spiced Maple Chicken & Pimento Grits. 3.9/5. The Spiced Maple Chicken flavor is delish! My chicken was also tender. The Pimento Grits were super creamy and also had great flavor. If you don't want too many flavors going on, I'd suggest grits without Pimento. Oh! We ordered a side of spinach too. Nice flavor. I'd suggest a lil less butter as an ingredient.

I have been itching to try Buttermilk Kitchen since I moved to Atlanta, and now, I can finally say I ate at this amazing establishment. First of all, this place is very popular! And for good reason, because it was outstanding. 10/10!!When I first tried to visit a few years ago, they only took walk ins, and the wait was at least 2 hours! Apparently, they now take reservations (noting this for future visits). My husband and I were walk-ins on a Sunday morning around 10:30am, and our wait was approx 45 mins. We didn't sweat it, and decided to go down the street to kill some time until our table was ready. The inside of this place is so cute! It's very warm and cozy inside, almost like going to your grandmother's house. Our server was great! She explained everything on the menu and offered some really good suggestions as first time visitors. I ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with pepper jelly and a side of pimento cheese grits. My husband ordered the pimento cheese and bacon omelette with a buttermilk biscuit and side of sauteed kale. Everything was absolutely delicious. The best thing was that our meals were so large that we were able to take some home. This has easily become one of my new favorite brunch spots in Atlanta. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I wanted to badly for this to be a 5 star meal, but some things just fell short for me. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not amazing. I had heard the pancakes here were incredible. I felt as if they were a little crumbly. My friend got the waffle and that actually was extremely good. My biggest qualm was with the chicken though. I think I'm just picky with my fried chicken, but I wanted more crunch and flavor to it. I also ordered coffee and the corn muffin app and those were quite good. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal and I would go back, I'm just not running back like many would.

This place has some of the most amazing breakfast options My wife had the Grit Bowel, which consisted of stone ground grits, spinach, tomatoes 2 eggs with cheddar, chicken sausage or bacon an options. I went with the Pimento Omelet, which has bacon, the Kitchen's in house made pimento cheese and a house pepper jelly that is amazing. Served with a buttermilk biscuit and your choice of side. I opted for the maple cured bacon. This place is unique that they feature local organic produces, and meat without any preservatives. Almost everything is made in house from scratch. The owner, Suzanne Vizethann is an amazing chef and has capitalized on a unique concept in providing premiere breakfast that is unmatched. The place has a very home feel to it, and the place gives a family feel with down home cooking. Highly recemmended, we will be back when we are thru the area.

I had heard a lot about Buttermilk Kitchen and it lived up to all the hype.First of all I would definitely recommend planning in advance and having a reservation. We did have a reservation which saved us a ton of time on a Friday morning, the check-in was easy and our table was ready immediately. The ambiance is also great. It's a converted house and has a cozy vibe which perfectly fits it as a breakfast/brunch spot. The food though was what really stood out. We started off with the biscuit basket and despite not being the biggest fan of biscuits these were delicious and easily the best I've ever had. The homemade jams were also great. For our mains we had The Standard and Chicken + Waffle which were just as good as the biscuits. Buttermilk Kitchen definitely has the best breakfast I've ever had.I would highly recommend Buttermilk Kitchen to anyone and everyone, just make sure you get a reservation to have a perfect experience!

This place is SO popular!!! Oh and let's not forget busy!!! I decided to come here on a Sunday for brunch. There was a wait but I ended up not having to wait as long as I was originally quoted. The staff were all so welcoming and accommodating throughout my visit. I ordered the hash bowl , which was absolutely delicious!! No kidding .... I ate every bite!!! The mimosas were very tasty and refreshing. I hate that I didn't get to see much of the inside as I was seated at the bar area. I did like the overall vibe here. Can't wait to return soon!

I absolutely love this place! I came from Sunday brunch with some girlfriends. We were able to make a reservation online but still had to wait about 10 minutes before our table was ready. We order the bottle of champagne for mimosas. Which works out better than ordering one individually. I had the short stack of pancakes and the breakfast sandwich with pork sausage and side of hash browns. Everything was so good! The pancakes were fluffy and the sandwich was big and filling. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is absolutely amazing. Portion is generous, very bang-for-your-buck and the servers are all very sweet. We arrived during peak hours and seated very quickly, not to mention, it took them less than 15 to get our food out. The ambiance is definitely more on the casual side, however this place is well furnished and radiates a home-y feeling.

What in the WORLD!! Buttermilk Kitchen is a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend. It is located in between Buckhead and Sandy Springs. They are crowded all the time and reservations are a must! We didnt have a reservation but it wasnt too bad of a wait (44 minutes). The place is a little noisy but who cares, the food was solid and so was the staff! When we were finally seated, I was super excited about trying the waffle! BUT was seriously wanting a biscuit! Lol so I got both! Being long eyed! For my cocktail choice I went with the BOOZY BLUE-house blueberry-basil jam, lemonade, vodka ($11) SOOOOOOO GOOD! Must try! So I order the CHICKEN + WAFFLE-fried chicken breast, buttermilk waffle, maple syrup and powdered sugar($19)Worth every bite and taste! The waffle wasnt too sweet snd the syrup was on point. NOW THIS FREAKIN biscuit was 100/100! No lie! I thought I was in heaven! The blueberry preserves was even better I couldnt finish it, so ai bought it home! Thanks Buttermilk Kitchen, I will be back for the shortrib omelette!!
