Bun Bo Hue Duc Chuong Midnite

The ambiance was horrible we got stared at from the moment we walked in honestly it felt racist because we're Mexican. We asked for a menu and they said no menu and just pointed at a picture on the wall of Bon Bo Hue. They gave us a cup of half ass water. No water refills and the main guy is the only waiter. No one checked on us. The food was okay we ordered the big bowl with barely any noodles in it. Such a DISAPPOINTMENT!

Hands down the best Bun Bo Hue in Houston! They only serve BBH here and it comes in a small and large size. Service is really fast and they have a good selection on drinks as well but I recommend their nước mát!

My friends and I came here after a late night pickleball session, and there was a surprisingly consistent flow of people all the way until closing at midnight. We all decided that we wanted/needed soup to warm up our freezing fingers and this is the perfect place for soupy noodles if you like bun bo hue because that's all they serve here. You order at the counter by choosing either the regular or large size and can also add on drinks if you'd like. I ordered the regular size and also a lychee tea with coconut jelly. I polished off the bun bo hue including all of the noodles, beef, pork loaf, pork blood, and veggies with no issue. I gave away my pork hoof to a friend though I'm not sure if there was a lot of meat on there anyway. This was my first time eating bun bo hue, so I have no point of reference but everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals judging by the completely empty bowls.

I decided to try the bún bò Huế here after hearing rave reviews about it being one of the best in Houston. However, I have to say I was a bit let down. While the dish was okay, it didn't quite live up to the hype. The broth lacked the robust flavors I was expecting, and it seemed like they were skimping out on the meat compared to what I've had at other places. For someone not from Houston seeking an exceptional bún bò Huế experience, you might want to manage your expectations. Overall, it was decent, but I've had better elsewhere.

The food was very mid. I could tell there was a lot of MSG because I took a bite and felt a tingling sensation in my head. Bun bo hue was almost too salty by itself, even when I put vegetables in it. The service was horrible. The hispanic woman helping was on her phone the whole time while the main guy, most likely the boss, was on his phone, singing, not checking up on anyone. I gave him cash and he gave me change and literally smacked it onto my hand. Really rude.

After looking through their menu, I decided to go with the BBH. Sike! That's the only thing on their menu. I expected it to be mind blowing because of that. However, I found it to be ok and maybe it's because there are many places to get good BBH. I'd give it 3.5 stars but that's not an option. Maybe I should have tempered my expectations and then I would have thought it was better.

best. hangover. meal. ever. They don't have a menu....bc they only sell Bun Bo Hue period. They said we will master one dish and they did that.This will bring you back to life after a night of shots.Their small is technically a large that you get anywhere else.Just come inTake a seatand they will take care of the rest for you.

Food was excellent! Portions were great and prices were very reasonable. Definitely would recommend this place!

this original location did justice. There is a second sister store down the street that isn't MIDNITE, DO NOT GO THERE. DOES NOT TASTE THE SAME!!!!!!this location offers raw side filet mignon, which goes PERFECT with the spicy soup. A true enhancement of the dish. EXCELLENT FLAVOR.

The service was rude. Prices are sky high. The food fell short of expectations. Overall, a disappointing experience.
