I've heard all the hype around this place and instead of a wide choice of items you've got one thing on the menu and that's Bun Bo Hue although you've got two choices in size, regular or large. First off we are at 9am so this was our breakfast and I didn't want to overdo since we had a big lunch in the plans so I opted for the regular size and that was big enough for me! The bowl had a good amount of rice noodle with sliced beef shank, pork knuckles, sausage chunks and sliced onions. My two knocks were the side veggies of cilantro sprigs, thinly sliced banana blossom, thinly sliced purple cabbage, mint, basil, perilla, and mung bean sprouts looked like the previous days as it was a bit wilted and browning. The other was the broth wasn't piping hot. The service was good and a one lady show who was eating her bowl of noodles next to us. The ambiance is no frills with old cut out pictures from an Asian magazine, of course an Asian calendar, and a big wall with the other items which were boba drinks and Vietnamese coffee. Would I go back again? Well maybe but the choices for Vietnamese and Cambodian food is far and wide on this strip of Asian eateries and strip malls that goes on for miles.

Bún bò here was good. It was flavorful and the portions are huge for such a good price. I do wish however the broth was more hearty like bone broth. I believe a small bowl is $11 and a gigantic bowl is $13. I was able to speak with the owner and she's super sweet. Worth checking out!

We came to try their Bun Bo Hue since we heard from social media that they only serve this and nothing else (besides drinks) so I expected that they will master the 1 item on their menu. This is coming from someone that never really got into Bun Bo Hue and wished that this place would change my mind. The bowl came and it was just okay, in my opinion. My other friends who are Bun Bo Hue fans thought that it was okay as well. It wasn't special compared to other places we have been. The broth was kind of watered down in our opinion. The "blood cube" does not give a bloody ironny taste, if you care for that. It was overall just okay. It wasn't bad and good enough if hungry. I was just expecting more flavorful broth and better meats (since we are in Houston). Was just looking for that one thing that makes this place stand out for Bun Bo Hue and it wasn't there. There wasn't a lot of people dining in neither and we went during dinner time.

Great hole in the wall type Bun Bo Hue. Large-size is a really big bowl. Broth had lots of flavor and only one type to order, so eliminates the need to decide on what to order.

BEST bbh in town. Mike was our server and he gave us great customer service, we were greeted upon arrival, and everything came out quick. We were able to get in and out during lunch time. Nuoc mat was refreshing on this hot summer day. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Was visiting Houston this past weekend and we decided to come here for breakfast on a Saturday a little after 8AM. It wasn't busy at all in the morning as they only had one table there when we got there. They specialize in Bun Bo Hue so that is the only item on the menu. They do have two sizes so you get to choose if you want a small or a large. Other than Bun Bo Hue, they also have plenty of drinks/boba for you to choose from. My friend decided to go for their large while I got their small. The food came fairly quickly and it was hot, which was perfect for that morning. Each bowl comes with a hearty amount of noodles with a mix of toppings that include pigs feet and pigs blood. They also provide you a plate of cabbage and bean sprouts to put in your soup as well as some lemon wedges. The soup base for the Bun Bo Hue was excellent. I've never had it in Vietnam so I don't know what's authentic but out of all the Bun Bo Hue I've tried, this is probably my favorite. It was savory but not too salty and had the perfect amount of umami to it. They also had shrimp paste, fish sauce, and chili oil at the table if you wanted to use them. The prices were very reasonable too for the amount they give you! I think a small was $7.50 and a large was around $10.00. Would definitely recommend! I would gladly come back when I visit Houston again!

Came here for breakfast one morning during our last visit to Houston in mid October. Restaurant opens at 8 and that's around when we went. Not busy but surprisingly already had 1 other table there. They serve ONLY BUN BO HUE, in small ($7.50) and large ($10). Food came fast and HOT, perfect for a cold, chilly morning. Bun bo hue has been a favorite of mine since eating it for years but I've never had it at a place that ONLY specializes in it nor have I ever traveled to Vietnam. Very strong, deep flavor broth with traverse cut pig feet into "slices" than the one I'm used to seeing which is like either the foot or a cut higher than that. Their pig blood was very soft, like pudding, unlike anything I've had before. I love adding shredded cabbage and bean sprouts to my bun bo hue. Adds so much crunchiness ! Definitely can't forget the limes either ! Weirdly I've never had Bun Bo Hue that had slices of cha lua in it. Not complaining though...On the table, there's more shrimp paste (mam tom), fish sauce (nuoc mam), and chili oil at the table if you need. Definitely didn't think it needed more. Their bun bo hue was so flavorful ! Would LOVE to have this again ! Very satisfying. Great portion for the cost. Accepts credit card ! Some question if you can eat something so heavy/oily in the morning... HECK YA ! AND I'D DO IT AGAIN !

Pictures not taken out of respect to dinner guests. I'll make this one very short and sweet. The only place you will get better Bun Bo is in a tiny spot in vietnam. Thank you to the chefs for bringing such an amazingly rich and delicious dish to the Houston area!!!

This is the one item restaurant. They only serve bun bo hue in small or large size. It is delicious and this is my go to place. I take my family here when they are in town. The broth is very flavorful and not too spicy. They have the shrimp paste and spicy sauce on the side for us to add into our bowl to our liking.
