Bull Creek Cafe & Grill

Old fashion restaurant , where everything is prepared when it is ordered,nothing is pre prep, have eaten there several times and the food is excellent, chicken fried steak smothered with gravy, you get your choice of mashed potatoes, French fries,not your typical skinny fries ,they are big , you also get a salad , I ordered onion rings as a side , could only eat one ,they are huge,the rolls that they serve before your meal are great . I also eaten their burger which is also great , the place is real clean the service is excellent. Not a fast food restaurant by any means. Just a good old fashioned restaurant like grandma and grandpa used to go to . This is the kind of place where you get what you pay for ,good food and great service.

Y'all never disappoint. Appreciate the service and the fresh food!!! Totally forgot to get me a shirt!

First, go at lunch. The service is great at lunch, and the lunch portions are still big enough for many to make two meals. My CFS lunch today was exactly what I've been craving, and as a bonus I had my favorite waitress taking care of me.

I was told this place wouldn't taste good, but that was a load of Bull.One of the better places to get some nice Homestyle country cooking in the Houston area with delicious chicken fried steaks and homemade goods, and it's not too expensive either. Keeping little local places like this in business is vital, and I try to help with that when I'm in Rosenberg, and this review is an example of me trying to help with that.

I don't understand why this place is always packed with individuals that are willing to wait 30 minutes only to be seated by buddy in the boots and wait an hour and a half to get the food. and the food is horrible... NO JOKE TRASH. Give the food to the cat in the back. This is my second time giving this place a chance and please believe I've never felt more ignored in my life. if you would like to lose money, please go to the bingo spot or the gambling spot at the shack that's ridiculous and I'm very upset and they should do better.And that last weeks peach cobbler.

I have to admit I wasn't too excited about stopping here on our drive from San Antonio. But OMG their food was freaking delicious! Rolls were fresh, hot, and slightly sweet. The salad was great. No cheap iceberg. The salmon was one of the best I've ever had! Perfect spices and a unique sundried tomato topping. I splurged with Mac and cheese as a side. Even it had herbs in it. The chef here obviously cares greatly about their kitchen. Others have mentioned slow service but on a Tuesday at 2 service was quick. Our server was friendly to boot. I'm so excited about the lunch I just had and it was just $18.99 plus tip/tax. A steal these days.

I took my husband for a ride today up to the town of Rosenberg, TX, where we found this cozy cafe called Bull Creek Cafe & Grill. Why not give it a try? So we did. We decided to share plates so I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and sweet potato fries. For our second shared dish, we went with a dinner plate: Sirloin steak, baked potatoes, and salad. One roll was included, but it was so good I ordered an extra helping (for an extra fee). The rolls were homemade and came with REAL BUTTER! The salad was delicious. The produce was all fresh, not bagged stuff. And the dressing was homemade. I would come back just for the salad!The burger was outstanding; cooked the way I ordered and had a wonderful flavor. And it was on one of those delicious rolls! The sweet potato rolls were the best I've had in a while! For me the sirloin was the only negative thing and that is probably because I am used to eating filet mignon out. I ordered the steak cooked medium (my first mistake) and it came out medium - so just as I ordered. But it was chewy and a bit tough to eat. The flavor was fine, but for me it just was not what I was hoping for. I also ordered a side of 4 grilled shrimp. They were very good; definitely would get them again.The baked potato was excellent - lots of goodies on top. Best of all, Joe, our server was excellent. I asked him back for cocktail sauce, more napkins, lemons, extra rolls, and onions. Instead of getting flustered and made, he was always cheerful and helpful. Definitely one of the greats in the server business. It's a bit far to travel for us, but if I get back that way, I will definitely go again!

I have only eaten lunch here and they have great lunch specials! Big portions, reasonably priced! Definitely a place to return to.

I ordered their regular hamburger and fries with a group last week. Waiter asked how I want it cooked and I said " just medium"35 minutes later (it wasn't even busy), I finally get my burger and it was so done the meat was white in the middle, Overcooked and dry.We get our separate bills with mandatory 20% tip for table of 6.My bill for a burned up burger and fries and an iced tea was $21 with tip.Ridiculous! I try to eat here because it's close to work but the pathetic wait time and continual bad food makes it a no go and there are way better places for faster and cheaper burgers.Waitstaff are great, the bad food isn't their fault.

Delicious food. Good portions. Good service. Nice homey atmosphere. Casual and good location.
