Another place that we have been meaning to try for a while, and finally got around to it. Nice space and bar area with good selection of rotating taps. The burritos were great, and small (pocket-size) was plenty for each of us. The Chimichurri was great. Rice and beans were good, but the house-made chips were a bit of a miss (not crispy enough). Ready to go back again and try a few other burritos.

We all came here with extremely high hopes and I was not a fan. The food alone was a bust. The vegetarian options all felt like it was frozen and heated up and nothing special especially for the price tag. We shared the fried pickles that were extremely oily, the burger that was extremely dry as well as the quesadilla that felt like it was haphazardly put together. The beer options were plentiful and great but it gave more restaurant/food court vibes than a proper taproom. The vibe was dead on a Saturday evening. We were the only ones there for about an hour or so and then a couple of other tables filled in. There's a little corner for kids to play in as well as an outdoor space with some lawn games but I still don't feel like this makes up for the food.

So fantastic! The Bull City Solara and Taproom has captured all the good things about Bull City Burger and Brewery, but it's less crowded, you can park right out front, and they have Burritos! They have the burgers too! The smoked tofu is fantastic, and we're snobby about tofu. I've had the lipstick on a pig and the magnum opus. The meat in both of these is really beautifully prepared with earthy Smokey flavors perfect texture, tender and all around delicious. The burritos combine both Mexican and southern influences. They come with a little hominy salad that is a good accompaniment to the burritos and is very nice and different from what other places do. It sort of captures and brings together the vibe of the burritos. They have a broad menu of their own beers, same as their sister restaurant, that are really excellent, IPAs, malty brown beers, dark beers. They have liquor and wine. The space is casual and welcoming, football on a big projector screen. There's a pickup window if you have to take your burrito on the run.

I only visited once before deciding to host my leaving-Durham going away party here, because of their creative burrito menu, expansive and comfortable deck, and friendly but casual service! All the employees were cool with 13 people showing up unannounced, staying for 3 hours, and playing a loud raucous game of Telephone Pictionary along the edge of the outdoor deck. They even helped facilitate a surprise cake and provided the knife and plates!I appreciate the burrito menu, its rotating vegan options, and the fact that it has such ingredients as cherry-soda braised pork (melt-in-your-mouth), fried squid (always tender, accompanied by oft-scorching peppers), collard greens and bacon marmalade, and fried broccoli. Not everything is a hit all the time, but it is more often than not, and in my opinion it's better to take risks than to stay boring. (But if you want to stay boring, they have a basic burrito too, which I have heard tell is not actually boring at all.)I love their 'Phoebe' chocolate caramel shake, too. Really caramelly!

What a disappointment. The burger was... terrible. It was overwhelmed with grease, even though we asked for a pink center it still felt like we were biting into raw meat in the middle, and it had this weird gray color on the outside and just tasted off. I don't write this to bash a small business, but times are tough and owners should do better by the people spending their hard earned money at their businesses. The pickle chips were blands and again, super greasy I could soak up the oil off them with a napkin. The chili was the best part. The soft serve shake was also good and the main redeeming thing. The outside area is a nice vibe.

Solid food, bit of an eclectic menu but should have enough to satisfy anyones pallette. I'm dinging a star because my burrito was very middle-of-the-road and for the nacho/tortilla chips.. they're very brittle and crumbly/flakey. while there wasn't anything bad about their flavor I just wasn't a fan of their texture.Overall not a bad meal but not one I would be jumping for a chance to return for.

Overpriced. When a burger costs $15.50 and doesn't come with fries, or chips, there's a problem. Food was good; not saying it wasn't. But give me my money's worth...

Solid burritosWe decided to hit up this spot for a quick lunch. Order at the counter and then grab a seat. We got 2 burritos: Chimichurri Chicken and Brown Chicken Tinga Wow Wow. The Chimichurri was super yummy - chicken was super flavorful with spiced potatoes which complemented the burrito perfectly. Wrapped in a warm fresh tortilla. They did add a little bit too much oil into the burrito so eating it was a drippy mess. Tasty nonetheless. The chicken tinga was pretty good as well. Meat was good. Paired nicely with rice and sour pickled cabbage. Overall, burritos were solid and tasty. Tasted premium which explains the premium price. Def better than chipotle.

Nice place, with good outdoor seating and a great tap menu. Food is so-so. Got the "porkolé" pizza, the chips are really thick, over cooked, and taste like cardboard. The toppings were nice, but served on these wood chips, it's not a fun meal. I'm hoping the Italian Tacos they launch in a few weeks are better. Beer and cider menu looks good, though! I had a Parrish Street pale ale, which I've had elsewhere. Tasty on a pleasant summer afternoon in the shade of a tarp on their patio.

The food was mid, burger had a distinct and different flavor, and the fries were seasoned again, distinctly. I didn't love the flavor personally. The burgers were overcooked as well, we asked for 1 rare and one medium and they were both cooked through. We had to ask twice for our drinks, and only one came before our food arrived. The bacon blue cheese burger had no flavor, honestly tasted plain. Felt like the whole restaurant was only half thought through. The ordering process was slow simply because the menu is only at the counter- it was supposed to be at entry but all the menus were at the counter so it took forever just to order a couple burgers and drinks.
