The ambiance is relaxing and intimate. Cloth napkins and tablecloths a great date or anniversary treat. We were in the mood for seafood and our go to shuckers had a wait so this was an amazing find! I got the monkfish with andouille sausage shrimp and clams ( AMAZING!) mom an dad had sea bass with shrimp also delicious! Great wine pours and a full bar. Give them a try a little pricey but was well worth it. My dad can't have a lot of salt an it was amazing ( he's hard to impress! )Wait staff was wonderful too ! Bruno's was me and my husband's FAVORITE fine dining restaurant of all time until after the pandemic. We went there every couple of months just for the experience --- great service, great food!!!UNFORTUNATELY, I cannot give Bruno's more than 1 star because they REFUSE to accept reservations for 2 people since they opened up after the pandemic. We do not understand how Bruno's can give up 2 great paying customers for a chance of getting a minimum of 4 people or ZERO people!We are SO DISAPPOINTED --- no patronage to their regulars!!! We will never be back to Bruno's. Clearly, we are not welcome!

I loved the atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and courteous. We ordered the bruschetta, a club salad, spring salad, the filet and the triple chocolate cake. I can't say there was a "wow!! Omg" factor regarding the food. I have also been to various high end restaurants but what I what I was impressed with was the service and the environment. Michael was our waiter. I saw other reviews recommending Nino, so I didn't request him because I wanted a fair review not based on what others experienced. Michael was great. Friendly, polite, nice informed and super helpful. I did miss the recommendation from other reviews to request your steak one temperature below how you normally eat it due to the hot plate potentially overcooking it. We ordered them medium but by the time we got a quarter way through, they were well done and boarder line dry, but still very good. Bathrooms were immaculate, which is rare for me to say.

Hidden gem! Simple menu, delicious dishes and very friendly staff. My parents come here semi-regularly and they have a favorite waiter, Nino. The space is fairly small during COVID, so be sure to make a reservation. Highly recommend the Shrimp scampi! Dad ordered the filet, which Nino said to order one temperature below what you want as it comes out on a hot plate and continues to cook. The filet was so fragrant as it came out and continued to cook just as Nino said. Chocolate cake was super yummy with layers of mousse and a hefty side of whipped cream.

First time at this spot and didn't disappoint. Old school (excellent) service and fair prices. Ribeye was very tasty, and while they plate it with a small redskin cut up and a few beans, this might be the only similar restaurant on earth where you can't order any kind of potato side dish. Wife had monkfish and it was really well prepared and generous. Our daughter wanted ice cream and they managed to find some even though its not on menu Decent martinis in metal glasses, and the server could always be found. We'll return.

The blackened chicken Bourbon Rigatoni is phenomenal. I asked the water guy what his favorite item on the menu was - if he only had 24 hours to live. He said this dish without hesitation. It was really good. I am glad I chose this meal over the other great choices. I had a couple of Oyster Rockefeller as an appetizer and they were perhaps the best I've ever had, and I've had them at many of the best restaurants in the World. Carol had their Seafood Alfredo. She will have another dish next time. We split their Teramiso for dessert. It was very good as well. There is no better place in this area of Raleigh than Bruno's Seafood and Steak for a special dinner.

Excellent food and excellent service here. Ordered the steak and it was perfection. Atmosphere is very high end and nice. Definitely pricey, but you pay for the quality here. Would love to revisit for special occasions.

Have been here a couple times now. Most recently was over the holidays for a business/holiday event in the private room. We could not have had better, more professional service. Seafood is top of the mind here, but my favorite dish so far is the Chicken Sorrentino. Also recommend the Burrata appetizer. They make it fresh and it's really good. I've had the Scallops before which I liked as well. Others really enjoyed their steaks and seafood.I will say I was not a fan of the hot appetizer combination that I've had here before. It felt like it was lacking acid or brightness and was served without any type of garnishes. Personal preference.Do know it's a relatively small restaurant in a strip mall in the Wakefield area (near Harris Teeter). There is a small bar area, main dining room, and private dining room. Nice neighborhood restaurant and good for business dinners and small parties.
