My wife and I came here shortly after lunch hours. We were pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of the food. The owner came out and introduced himself to us. We are new to Angier. Nice gentleman. Later I brought a friend there to eat. We had a very nice lunch. I recommend this restaurant.

Montreal Seasoned Salmon: Perfectly seasoned salmon cooked to perfection, allowing the fish's natural flavors to shine.Southern fried Shrimp: Generous servings of succulent shrimp sautéed to perfection.Homemade Potato Salad: A delightful side dish with homemade goodness.Southern Fried Okra: Crispy and flavorful okra that makes for a delicious accompaniment. At Brick and Mortar Grill, the Montreal Seasoned Salmon is a must-try. This recipe calls for salmon that has been expertly seasoned and cooked to a rare perfection that brings out the natural flavors of the fish. The salmon's flavor is enhanced without being overpowered by the skillfully balanced seasoning. This is one of the best salmon dishes I've had in a long time because every bite is a delightful explosion of flavors. When you visit Brick and Mortar Grill, make sure to take advantage of this wonderful culinary experience.I highly recommend!!

Excellent service, freshly brewed unsweetened iced tea, Pepsi products, and specialty coffees. Beer, wine. The best Philly cheese steak, hands down. Fries are ok, the battered kind, evidently they 'hold' better. At least they were hot and fresh.I enjoyed the black and blue salad with grilled ribeye as the steak. It was cooked perfectly, and their vinaigrette is addicting. Excellent mix of herbs, spices, and vinegar and oil.We tried two of their soups, shrimp corn bisque, and roasted red pepper with gouda. Oh, my. The roasted red pepper won that category. It was amazing! Thick, savory, hit the spot on this cold afternoon. The shrimp corn bisque was a bit watery, had no traceable shrimp pieces, and had no seafood flavor at all. Mostly corn, bits of potato, red pepper. We skipped desserts, but today's offerings included strawberry shortcake, carrot cake, and caramel apple cheesecake. It's been too long since we've eaten here. Will try not to be away too long before our next visit.

Thought we would try out Brick & Mortar when visiting Angier, NC for a plant shopping trip at the nurseries on Old Stage Coach Road. Let me start with a positive, the fried okra was fantastic and waitress was fine. But it was all downhill from there. I ordered a Ruben sandwich, it barely had 3 very small slices of paper thin deli cut corned beef, a teaspoon amount of sauerkraut and no swiss cheese could be located. The construction of the sandwich was haphazard, no meat on one side, just bread, a few shreds of sauerkraut and a pinch of thousand island dressing. I know food costs are high, but $14 for this sandwich and a 3.5% credit card processing fee is ridiculous. Don't bother, just walk a few buildings down and go to Big Ed's.

Victoria was a wonderful waitress. Busy restaurant and for a good reason. Our food came out quick and was delicious. Sweet potato fries that'll knock your socks off. The burger was cooked perfectly. When I said medium rare, they had my back. Will definitely be coming back.

Been here a couple times and the servers are great. Top customer service and more than one person cares about your experience. Food comes out of the kitchen hot - it clearly has not been waiting to be run out. The French Onion soup is one of the best I've had. Let's keep this place busy and profitable so we have a great local restaurant in Angier.

The food taste fine and I like the old school office style scene they have going on here. I'd never eaten here before and walked in to a packed place. I don't think someone thought out the logistics of having a small upstairs dining area and it impacted the service. The servers seemed exhausted to me and making them March up and down with the food and drinks seems excessive to me. Not sure how to fix that overall. Food was good though
