BreakTime Tea Lounge & Bánh Mì

I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. I been missing out on one of the Best Banh Mi Sandwiches I ever had locally. We had the grilled pork Banh Mi it was a pretty good size. You have to try it with a fried egg in it. Absolutely, delicious!!! They have complimentary soup if you dine in. The soup was delicious. If you are in the local area try them out. As always support your local small businesses first.

Not sure if this spot was new but I was looking for a snack before dinner. I got a drink and fries snacks. Everything was good. The staff was really nice, even changing the channel on the TV when they noticed we were trying to see updates for a game on the phone.

Absolutely the best Vietnamese Coffee I've ever had in my life is housed beyond these four walls. In the booming and growing Katy Asia Town, BreakTime is nestled among many other businesses. A few friends and I were looking for a place to get some work done, get some caffeine in, and be a little productive, but also have a break! True to its name, this tea shop offered just that! The staff was incredibly friendly and greeted us with a smile. There was plenty of seating, great décor, and this is overall a good place to study or just hang out with friends. I just ordered a Vietnamese Coffee and it was spectacular! I've had many of these coffees all over, but something about this one made it spectacular. It was smooth, bold, I enjoyed the cup it was in, the type of ice they used, and man, it was perfection. I shouldn't share this with you, but it was so good, that after I finished the first cup, I went right back to get a second. My heart sure loved that decision, no matter, it was worth it! They had board games available too, and my friends and I chose to play a game of Uno. I want to give this spot 5 stars so badly, but unfortunately there was one deal breaker for me, no wi-fi. That is the only thing they have missing. There is so much seating, plugs, and the place seems to be built for studying. Alas, no wi-fi. No worries, I always carry a Hot Spot with me, and I'd definitely come back to this place for delicious coffee.

This is my go to spot for bánh mì in Katy! The flavors are classic Vietnamese but I do wish I could get more of the mayo and pate (and maybe some soy sauce). I always get the pork roll bánh mì with extra pork roll lol but I have also had the grilled pork and both are great. The drinks are decent, I order the Vietnamese iced coffee and it is on the sweeter side and I'm used to a good strong (make your eye twitch type of strong) Vietnamese coffee. The milk teas are average compared to the other dozens of boba teas in the area.

I haven't been leaving many yelp reviews lately but damn was this good. Great service and food. Get the egg coffee!?

Good food, friendly service, but no WiFi. Is it realistic to have a coffee and tea shop in 2024 with no WiFi? Realistic or not they don't have it. I guess since it's a small boutique business with a "plus food" menu they don't target people looking to study or work from their location for more than an hour. Every business has a right to select their target customer, but just know this environment doesn't have WiFi.

Walking in, I can tell this establishment is well kept. It puts my mind at ease knowing that I am about to eat somewhere that is clean.I ordered the beef Banh mi, popcorn chicken and Vietnamese egg coffee.Beef Banh mi 3/5Kind of light on the beef and not enough flavor.Popcorn chicken 3/5Portion was the perfect snack size. The hockey itself was not crispy but hard. Vietnamese egg coffee 5/5Wow!! This was the star of the meal! Wonderful presentation. The egg was flowing just over the cup with cocoa sprinkles. The egg foam was creamy and delicious! Coffee was strong. This drink is Perfect!The food is here is mediocre at best but super convenient and fast. 100% recommend the Vietnamese Egg coffee!

I was really impressed with this restaurant! So much that I came here twice in one week. The first time that I came was oa whim for lunch while visiting Katy on business. My first impression upon entering was that it was a quiet, peaceful tucked away oasis, perfect for a small break. It was very clean and very well decorated.I ordered the Đậu hũ chiên (Fried Tofu) and the Chả cá Nha Trang (Fish Cake) Bánh mì. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would have liked a little more crisp on bánh mì, but still very good texture. The fish cake bánh mì was tasty even though it was a little on the dry side and I thought it could benefit from a bit more sauce inside, however this was my first time trying fish cake bánh mì. Still very tasty. The fried tofu bánh mì was delicious! First of all, I have had quite a few fried tofu bánh mì in the area. I have to say this rivals the best I've eaten so far. It may be my favorite fried tofu yet. The flavor was superb, the seasoning and sauce were just right. Combined with the crunchiness of the veggies and crispness of the bánh mì, it was very close to perfection. I will definitely order this again. The French fries were a nice addition but may have been a bit overboard for this meal. Still they tasted great. They were fresh and crispy. It was a generous portion, especially for the price. On my second visit, I came strictly for the Ca phê trứng nóng (Hot Egg Coffee). They offer an iced version and a hot version. I opted for the hot version, only available for dine in. I made the right choice! This was so delightful! I was expecting it to be very sweet but it was not overly sweet, which I pleased with. The creamy egg yolk custard was thick and yet extremely smooth. Combined with the espresso which was just the right strength to balance out the custard, it made for a comforting combination. The mocha powder on top was a lovely finishing touch that added an extra dash of flavor. For this being my first time trying this drink I was thoroughly impressed and will be coming back for more!Overall, the bánh mì and ca phê trứng nóng were delicious and filling. The vibe was super chill and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also complimentary soup for customers and games to play while you visit. I would recommend this place to anyone old or young to take a break and catch up or just sit and relax. Give this local business a visit and your support. You will not be disappointed!

My husband gets the Vietnamese coffee and I get the egg Vietnamese coffee, we've had it both iced/hot and they ARE SO GOOD!!! Don't drink too late in the afternoon bc it does the job, you'll be up all night just sucked my to go one down & sure wish I had another
