Bread & Butterfly

Had a girls lunch on Saturday at Bread & Butterfly. This restaurant is on a first come first serve basis for brunch and lunch. Which meant that we had a little wait to be seated, which was about 25-30 mins once we arrived at 1:00pm.Our waitress, Gabby was super friendly and attentive. We ended up ordering: a Burger with potatoes, large pancake with a side order of potatoes and salmon.Everything was average, nothing super special but the four stars are for the customer service and the ambience.

Dining at Bread & Butterfly was an absolute delight. The staff, from the charming hostess to the attentive wait staff, were not just friendly but exuded a genuine warmth and ease that made us feel instantly at home.The food was nothing short of sublime. The freshness and flavor delighted our palates with every bite. Bread & Butterfly truly exceeded all expectations and left us eager for a return visit.

Met up with a good friend for brunch. I found the food to be just average. Nothing special in terms of flavor, though the dishes were well executed (good technique). Service was good.The room is loud.I will likely give them another try.

What started with a friendly greet and smile at the front, ended with a lovely dining experience at Bread & Butterfly! A girlfriend and I had breakfast here on a Thursday (around 9:30am) and snagged a spot on the front porch. PERFECT 68 degree porch weather! I started out with a cappuccino and made my way to the salmon toast (they smoke their salmon in-house btw), their B&B giant pancake, and a side of crispy fried potatoes! If you're a fan of smoked paprika, you'll definitely love their fried potatoes dipped in their aioli. So yum!!! I enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend!

Good pancake. I saw this on Good Day Atlanta as having some of the best pancakes in Atlanta. Hmm. No worries, Cracker Barrel, on their assessment. I'm a brunch and pancake connoisseur and been to brunch spots from the east coast to the west coast. Let me tell you, for me Cracker Barrell still has the number one pancake spot on lock! ...with them crispy buttery edges. Mmmm.

I really enjoyed Bread and Butterfly! We came for brunch after a friend recommended it to me (she and her fiancé apparently come here almost every weekend for brunch so they obviously love it) and I'm glad we did! The food is well made and tastes great. My bf got the eggs Benedict and liked it, I thought I'd try the French countryside sandwich because it sounded different and interesting and ended up really enjoying that too! We got some potatoes to share and as expected they were good.I will say the portions aren't "American sized" which I didn't mind too much because I could stand to eat smaller (more appropriate?) portions haha, but while at some other brunch spots if you order something like the Eggs Benedict it might come with potatoes already, here you'll have to order (and pay) for them separately, which does make the meal more expensive.

The journey to find the best Brunch/breakfast in Atlanta continues. Bread & Butterfly was next on the list. Bread & Butter is a French inspired restaurant with an absolute beautiful interior. I ordered the croque Madame and the smoked salmon, chocolate croissant and a double espresso. Everything was very good. The only issue I had was the smoked salmon wasn't really "smoked" just tasted like salmon sashimi or crudo. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting. The service was also pretty good. Overall very solid restaurant.

Bread & Butterfly has been on my Atlanta bucket list for ages and while downtown one day, we decided to venture to Inman Park for a late lunch. We don't have a reservation and we had a pup in tow but we were seated on the heated covered patio so we were good to go. How cheesy is it for me to order a French 75 at a French restaurant? Too bad because it was delicious. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely perfection, not just taste but also super photogenic. From the hot and flakey tomato soup with puff pastry to the juicy burger americain, and even a simple buttered baguette with jam. The croque madame was just ok - pretty basic. But still hit the spot. And with all those carbs, ending the perfect meal with a macchiato is, well, perfect. I can't wait to come back to try breakfast or dinner next time!

When I moved into the neighborhood, Bread + Butterfly quickly became my favorite restaurant. The only problem was that it was so difficult to get a table.B+B has changed hands. The new executive chef is Demetrius Brown and thanks to an event hosted by "Slow Food," we had a chance to meet the chef and taste a range of his cooking as well as the bar's best mixed drinks. What an evening!The standouts: 1. amazing crab cakes. They were light and super tasty. I'd love a plate f them for an appetizer. 2. Fabulous bao. The fried chicken in the bao were light and had a hint of some fabulous taste. Bao? Wow!3. Lamb belly. I didn't even know that lamb belly was a thing. It is and you don't want to miss it. It was a taste explosion in my mouth. I can't wait to go back and order it as a main course. Chef Brown explained that B+B was always a French restaurant but that it will now focus Afro-French cuisine with dishes from Senegal, Haiti, and of course France. Chef has family roots in Trinidad, my favorite place in the Caribbean.Thanks Marian and Ben for inviting us to bread and Butterfly. We'll be back often.

I'm obsessed with this establishment. Absolutely love at first sight. The outside seating area is gorgeous with pops of yellow. While the inside transports you to a French bistro. When you first walk up you are immediately greeted by the hostess. She's very friendly and has a great sense of humor. We were seated inside. We started with coffee. I ordered the honey lavender latte with oat milk. Delicious coffee was amazing and held me over until my true love joined me! Those crispy potatoes packed with so much flavor. Crispy on the outside soft and pillowy on the inside. Just seasoned to perfection! Add it to your meal you'll love them! Then my old lady came which was the French omelette. Technically made to perfection from the color, egg consistency, and airiness. Just a masterpiece of fine cookery. I then ordered an espresso martini and she is my favorite girl. Because she will never disappoint. If you can't tell I love it here and I know you will too!
