Sustain: The food is good.Needs improvement:1.) When you call to order, and they can't hear you clearly , they assume you're on Bluetooth and hang up, this has happened 3x to me. (most likely because it's loud in their environment with a bar in the background.2.) No online order ahead option on their webpage.3.) No delivery options via (restaurant, Uber Eats, Grubhub) etc.Assessment:If you're going to sit in and eat, this is a relatively good option & the service is par with the local restaurants. But if you do any form of takeout, there are much better options in the area.

Last trip to Atlanta, we stumbled upon Brake Pad by chance. With time to spare before our flight, we found ourselves in the bustling College Park area, likely due to school being in session. The vibe was energetic, and Brake Pad fit right in. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by super friendly and attentive staff, making us feel right at home.The food was nothing short of spectacular. I opted for the patty melt with tater tots--an irresistible choice whenever they're on the menu. The crispy, golden tots perfectly complemented the juicy, flavorful patty melt. Around us, everyone seemed to be ordering the brisket nachos, and after seeing those piled-high plates pass by, I knew I had to try them on my next visit.The place itself is unbelievably cool, set in a vintage brake repair shop. The quirky, retro decor added a unique charm that you don't find just anywhere. Brake Pad isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience. I can't wait for my next trip to Atlanta to dive into those brisket nachos and soak up the eclectic atmosphere again.

Food was tasty. Service was friendly but painfully slow. Stopped here for a bite before a flight out. We had plenty of time to kill, so it wasn't an issue. If we had been in a hurry, though, we likely would have had to leave with empty stomachs because it just took too long. Too long to get menus, too long to order, too long to get the food, and too long before the server came around again to find out we wanted the check. We were there more than two hours and didn't even order appetizers, dessert, or drinks. I ordered the steak tacos, which had good flavor. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with fries and had no complaints. My friend ordered a hummus wrap with tater tots. She specifically asked for no onions and the wrap came with onions, so she sent it back and got a new one without onions. The food was all pretty good. Aside from the mixup, everyone enjoyed their food. If you aren't in a hurry, this can be a good experience, but if slow service is a deal breaker for you, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Had lunch here with an old college buddy to catch up and it fit the bill perfectly. Great patio and indoor/outdoor spaces to enjoy the perfect fall weather. Prompt service. My French dip was excellent, full of very high quality meat, and my friend said his fish tacos were the best he's had. Very reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!

Always a great spot for a quick meal. Service is pleasant, portions are generous!No frills. Bar foods... burgers, sandwiches, salads and such. Their wings are awesome!!I noticed that they are now adding a surcharge for using your CC to pay. Street parking so that sometimes is a challenge but go across the street by Woodward.

Stopped by today for lunch. It's in a great location in the College Park area. I can say parking situation is kinda crap but if you luck up with front or side street park it's the best. The food options are good options. We tried the chicken buffalo egg rolls and they were definitely spicy but good. I tried the Cuban and it was great. Their take on the Cuban but a good one. I liked the sauce they served with it. The tots were fried to perfection. Also tried the burger and it was cooked perfectly to the temp asked. Drink was good as well. I would stop here again when in the area. The server we had was awesome as well!

The Brake Pad is always a great option for meeting friends, or grabbing a bite just because i don't want to cook. The vibe is, local and friendly! Depending on the night, and what's going on in the area, there can be a wait. As a Woodward Academy family, it's a great for pregame, post concert, or whatever kind of meet up spot. Parking is awful, just know.

My family and I are in Atlanta every other year for the Peachtree Road Race. We always stay in College Park since it's convenient to the airport and MARTA train. We've passed Brake Pad many times, but we finally stopped in this summer. There was a little bit of a line, but we were seated pretty quickly. The room in the front can take advantage of the nice weather since it's surrounded by glass garage doors. It started raining while we were there, so thankfully they are also easy to close. The chicken egg rolls are not to be overlooked. The burger and patty melt were great. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Food was great, service amazing and the ambiance was peaceful. We ate outside and it was quiet and quaint.
