Bourbon Steak - Miami

You have to come HERE ! I am a fan of superb service and lots of smiles from the staff! The chef is AWESOME. I confess I did not have the steak, my partner had the bone in rib eye it was cooked to perfection! We also ordered broccoli and cheese a la carte. When you arrive they bring a trio of 3 different types of fries ) I know really? Rosemary fries a dry rub fries and a bbq rub fry with dips to your table. I'm a foodie so I ordered food gras as my main meal and the bone marrow as my appetizer. Truly gourmet. I haven't ever had those items on any menu in Miami. ANDREs was our attentive server. The place is gorgeous. Andres was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selections that would be the best for each dish. There is also attentive staff that come to your table and give extra attention. I love love love thisPlace. Staying at the hotel for my husbands birthday. He's a local doctor and I thought using my Amex Platinum points for a staycation would be a treat. Boy I was wrong. I spoke with VIP reservations several weeks prior to our arrival date to ensure we had a private table tucked away in Bourbon Steak. Us being a same sex couple I did not feel comfortable sitting in the middle of the dining room. The blond haired hostess was a real snot and sat us dead center of the room. I told her it was unacceptable. She said she had nothing else. I asked for a manager. He came over right away with a smirk right out of Batman and agreed to move us to the lounge. From then on the service was on target. Donnie, our server, was an absolute gentleman. The next night I went to the restaurant and requested to sit at the bar for a steak and lobster. My husband was sleeping at 9:25 pm. Again, the snotty girl working the desk said she could not seat me at the bar because they were closing at 9:30. I told her I knew exactly what I wanted and would be quick, I'm staying in the hotel. She refused. I then called a manager who hard transferred me to inroom dining where everything is up-charged with a very limited menu and takes hours to arrive. We all know in-room dining is very slow, and they always miss something in your order. I complained about the evening and in-room dining manager said he'd expedite my order. A simple steak, asparagus, and conch fritters. I explained to him that the day before it took 7 hours for in room dining to deliver our arrival package. He told me I was mistaken. (Boom, mic drop).He said he would get my order processed right away. I placed the order only to receive a call moments later telling me they were out of conch fritters. I cancelled the order and have vowed to never use Marriott again. I am an elite Bonvoy member and never, ever have I had a more terrible experience than I did here at this hotel and this restaurant two days in a row. If you have a special occasion, go to Ricks or Prime unless you like being looked down upon at this place. We spent $600 on dinner for two people only to get attitude the first day as well as the second day. Ridiculous. The food was good. Maybe the manager trains the hostesses to run the door like a trendy nightclub but I gotta tell you, Turnberry is not what it was decades ago when an apartment here meant something. Shame on you Bourbon Steak and shame on you Marriott. You lost an elite member for sure.

Amazing Dining Experience at Bourbon SteakhouseMy visit to Bourbon Steakhouse was exceptional. The highlight was the wine pairing by sommelier Craig, whose selections beautifully complemented each dish.The elegant atmosphere and exquisite food made for an unforgettable evening. Thanks to the outstanding team, Bourbon Steakhouse is a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

What a terrific experience! The service was exceptional from the minute we sat down. Our server was friendly and very willing to answer all our questions. We loved that they told us the table was ours the whole night. The staff was great, the water glasses were always full and the table clean. The somalier was very helpful. They bring fries with different sauces instead of bread and I LOVED that. Now on to the food. WOW! It was better than I expected. We had the bone marrow which I highly recommend. I had sea bass as my main did, the fish was very well cooked and served in a broth that was very tasty. We also ordered several different steaks that were delicious according to the meat eaters. Yes, it's a bit pricey but you only live once.

By far this is the best restaurant in Aventura and probably Michael Mina's best. The food is GREAT but it is the consistency of service that makes this restaurant stand apart. I mostly sit at the bar and all the bartenders are beyond spectacular. Ambiance is a little dark but lit well enough to create unforgettable memories that paired with a wine recommended by Giuseppe Hernandez will make your evening a 20/10.

We came here last minute for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was empty so I was fairly quick service. Our waiter was prompt and attentive and they even gave me a birthday card. How thoughtful! My husband had the pastrami short rib, my daughter had the skirt steak, my son the filet mignon and I had the Amish chicken. For our sides we had the trip, creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese. My chicken came out cold and despite their attempt to warm it up, it was still cold. Otherwise the service was good. We ordered two desserts, one being the brown butter cake and the key lime pie. Our food was good, however To be honest, I feel that this restaurant is overpriced.Overall it was a great night!

We first came here to celebrate a birthday, and we've been coming here regularly ever since. The atmosphere is beautiful with high ceilings, comfortable booths or tables and chairs. The staff is extremely attentive and well-trained. But the real reason we keep coming back is for the amazing food. As soon as you as you sit down, you will be served a trio of French fries with complementary dipping sauces. These are by far our favorite! Usually, the two of us will start with oysters, then order the ribeye with bone and - side of asparagus or mashed potatoes. Don't forget key lime pie for dessert - the perfect finish to the meal.

This steakhouse was one of the worser steakhouses I have been to. My steak was below average. It was flavorless to me. I always get mac and cheese when I eat at steakhouses and I must say this was the worst mac and cheese I ever had. It was the quality of what boston market mac and cheese tastes like. The spinach was tolerable at least. A positive for them would be their creativity of supplying french fries rather than the typical complimentary bread, so kudos to that. I think more restaurants should start doing that. Ambiance overall was average, bathroom could have looked better. Customer service was decent so never mad at that. Will not be returning here ever with that being said. 1 star if it wasn't for the french fry starter concept.Love yours,ExquisiteTasteBuds

Service was great. Ambience amazing. The fries they bring out when you arrive is a great touch. I had the rib cap. Super tender and well cooked.The old fashioned was great.My only complaint is the price. Really outrageous.
