Siam Bistro is definitely a casual spot, probably more for takeout than anything else. It's the type of place where you to go up to the counter to order, even though there's a decent amount of seating. Even if you're dining in, they serve your food in to go containers. In terms of food, the menu has a mix of classic Thai and fusion dishes. We ordered the Drunken Noodle and Massaman Curry, both with chicken. The Drunken Noodle had a decent taste, but I think it could have used a bit more flavor. The noodles itself had the right texture, with a bit of chew. The Massaman Curry was a bit thinner in consistency than I'm used to, as it seemed like it had less coconut milk than most curries I've tried. It still had a good flavor profile to it, though. I don't think this would be my top pick for Thai food in Boston, but it's decent if you're looking for something quick downtown.

A cold, rainy fall day called for a warm and spicy lunch. Siam Bistro was just what I needed. Convenient downtown location, easy online ordering, reasonable price and portion, food ready promptly and piping hot. Oh, and the taste was pretty darn good too. I went for spice level 4 (of 5), and it packed quite a kick. The fluffy rice mellows it out, but there was plenty of flavorful sauce to mix in with the rice. I'll be back, for this dish and others as well.

Food is decent but their attitude is terrible and they cheap out in everything they can:1. Weakest utensils I've ever used. Incredibly flimsy. Plastic utensils can be bought in bulk; this is saving them like three cents per customer or something.2. Poorly bagged food in leaky plastic containers. Not even a plastic bag with handles. Just a brown paper bag with a leaky tub in it.3. Rice not included with the stir fry dishes. Never heard of being asked to pay extra for rice. My spicy basil beef stir fry with rice was $19, more than I expected.Food was decent, well spiced, not too remarkable though. Probably won't be back.

Meh. I've been walking by this place for years. The other day I was walking by at lunch time thinking about... oh, hey! Siam Bistro. I was eager to give it a try. Since it was just me, I ordered one dish, my Thai go-to: krapow. Yay! Right? Eh.The place was busy with what looked like financial district/tourists looking for lunch. There are (maybe) two tables for eat in, but their "plates" and such were identical to the carry out plastic containers and woefully tiny tiny inadequate utensils. Smallest fork I've ever seen. Because I was on foot, and had a couple of bags with me, it was going to be difficult to carry the handle-less paper bag my food was wrapped in. For carry out orders *not much bigger than mine,* they have brown bags with flat bottoms and handles. This is essential to keep the dish from tilting and spilling in transit. It was clear I had packages so she should have packed my carry-out appropriately but she didn't. So I asked. She pulled out a flimsy plastic thing. The whole way home I was juggling the thing because the food wouldn't lay flat. Sometimes, in service, it's the seemingly small things. I already don't trust this place. The food? oh that. A lot can be forgiven for good food. (Not that you should get bad service ever....) The krapow was spicy -- a really good spice level. That was pleasing. But as I dipped in to eat it, I realized that about 75-80% of the dish was white rice. It's like I paid $14 for a plastic tub of rice! haha. Oh well. I might go back if... you know, I wanted to hide from a spy balloon or if Biddy's runs out of boneless chicken wings. No parking, of course, unless you're a ninja.

Great takeout lunch spot in the Boston Financial District. The food is exactly how I remembered it to be pre-Covid. The Crispy Thai Chicken Basil is very craveable, but the whole repertoire of dishes is well done here. Ordering ahead and picking up is my modus operandi, as they get very very busy during the lunch hour.

I come to this place for lunch during work sometimes. You can't really sit, you definitely should order ahead, if you do they are always timely, really friendly staff. The food is all good Thai Takeout food. The crispy chicken is good, the papaya salad is good, all the noodles are good as well. Over all great place to pick up take out.

Oh so amazing! Delicious food, nice staff, quick- literally, what more could you ask for? Ok, it's not fancy, BUT- it's great food- and isn't that what we really want in an awesome Thai spot? 10/10 will go again!

I am so happy I found Siam Bistro. A GEM!I ordered the Tom Yum Soup (comes mild spice) Chicken Gra Pow (medium spice)(added an egg)With a Thai ice tea. To begin the food was outstanding, the spice levels are true to what it tells you. The spice gets stronger as you eat (obviously)but a few sips from my Thai tea, I was ready for more. I had my soup first, but my gra pow followed really soon after. My soup was served HOT in temp, everything is served " to go", but the portions are a bit on the bigger side so it works. I think it just goes to show they care about the quality of the food over anything. That's 100% alright with me.

Great food and fast service. I had the Mango curry with chicken and the Tom yum soup. It was the day of the Celtics victory parade and the restaurant was quiet. A few people did stop in for order pickup. As I was almost finishing my meal, more people started arriving and there was a line. Would definitely visit again when in the area.
