Very good portion sizes. The bowl and the burrito we got was loaded. The customer service was nice and we went inside to pick up and the place's really nice, had a separate bar and everything. It's just the pastor didn't wow me, too lean for my taste (i was expecting lil fatty pieces of pork but i got really lean tough pieces). Ok they have gone downhill since opening. Just in time for other Mexican spots to open up. On Monday $5 burrito day it only includes a couple kinds of meat. You basically have to do chicken. I'm sure that's in fine print somewhere but it feels shady especially since I only came out bc of that when I'm on a budget bc that's such a good deal. The pico looked grey. Like actually grey. And to pay with card you gave to go to the bar which is slow or ignores you and also is rarely open. If a few guys went drinking would they even have the bar of. To charge cards? Tables are dirty. They haven't been open long enough to excuse this plummet.

Better than your average Burrito Place. Good quality ingredients. Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT skip the Churros!!! Tips: $5 Monday Burrito Special all day!Came back again for Monday special. Still great and yes, CHURROS!!!!

The $5 dollar for a bowl or burrito deal on Mondays is unbeatable!! The food quality is a huge jump up from Chipotle and at just 5 dollars for a very filling meal, I couldn't be happier with my visit. This location is also pretty empty, even though I came at 1pm on a holiday (Juneteenth) so it was super easy to find seating anywhere in the restaurant. 110% recommend!!

Newly opened in Malden, Santa Fe brings delicious burritos and bowls to Malden Center.MENU: It's a make your own bowl, taco, burrito kind of joint. They have a lot of offerings from chicken to carnitas to veggies. FOOD: The food is fresh is always delicious! My go to is the chicken bowl with. Get the churros! One is the best I've had. SPACE: It has ample seating and a bar area that serves up drinks with two tvs.

Food is absolutely decent, lots of authentic Southwestern options to choose from. My gripe is with the extraordinarily awkward burrito bar vs. alcohol bar. The concept just doesn't work, you sit at the bar and unsure what to do. Do I order food first? Then I saw the little sushi type paper and again... just odd. The three times I've been there service has been spotty at best, there is never a bartender stationed at the alcohol bar so people just kinda sit there unsure what to do. Also, they say their open until 10pm, I walked in at 9:15 and they said they were closed ‍.

I'm reviewing the Malden location. This place is a hidden gem! You can't miss the Sunday and Tuesday special; 2 tacos and a margarita. The price for everything is less than a typical margarita. The house margarita is delicious! Tacos are all very good. Carne asada, pastor, and carnitas are my favorites. The meat is very flavorful and tastes authentic. There are so many toppings! Roasted jalapeños, fresh salsa, guacamole, rice, beans, etc. I'm usually good for more than 2 tacos but once you add the toppings and they load on the meat I'm satisfied with 2. Still need to try the $5 burrito on Mondays. The chips and queso is also excellent.

I had been a huge fan of their food as a local business usually great quality and fresh food, but to my surprise I got large grill bristles in my asada taco today! The size of a staple goes without saying that it's dangerous and almost broke a tooth biting into it.

Great food but if you are being so stingy with food and have horrible workers with such rude attitudes then just close. Queso and Guacamole are an extra $2.75 just for them to give you such little amount literally like a pea amount. Both locations melrose and Malden are like this and it's actually sad cus the food is great but the service and stinginess is out of this world.
